Wow. What can I say. This is classic Chinese American food. Huge portions, low prices. The service was great, the food came out fast and it was delicious. The presentation of all the meals we ordered was great too! I was especially happy with the egg drop soup and the oolong tea! Our water stayed filled the entire time, and we were not disturbed much from the wait staff. We will absolutely be coming back. I popped in for lunch and found the place pretty empty so I received excellent service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lunch menu was pretty vast and very reasonable. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice. It came with a soup choice so I tried hot and sour soup for the first time. While it was not my favorite, it was pleasant and had a nice mild heat. We are from out of town, and stopped by because of the great reviews. We really enjoyed our dinners. The BBQ pork was tender and moist. The happy family was full delicious meats and rich veggies, the Mongolian beef had just the right spice and the pineapple chicken was the right sweet and tart. Delivery by doordash. I ordered the pan fried noodles as a side to go with mandarin chicken and hot and sour soup. Of the 3 the chicken was ok. The soup was the worst I've ever had (its a favorite of mine so I order when I can), it was watery and pretty flavorless. The noodles were dried out and sauceless.. I love trying new Chinese places, and this one looked like it could be a winner. Typical old Chinese restaurant decor. Lots of reds and blacks. Lots of designs. We called ahead (which at first someone told us they only do take out which was wrong so we called again) to make sure they could seat all 7 of us and we headed over. We were here for basketball a couple weeks ago and this place was right across the street from the casino. We loaded up the 5 kids and took them over. We were checked in and were sat down. They brought us water and took our order. About 20 minutes later we were brought soup. About 20 minutes after that we were told they were busy with a bunch of to-go orders and it was gonna be a few minutes. About 20 minutes after that we were looking around at the 5 other tables who were there and noticed none of them had food yet either. 20 more minutes a table gets half their food. 5 minutes later they get some more. 10 minutes go by and another table gets soup. Still nothing for us. 10 minutes more and we decide it's probably time to start thinking about leaving. Then they bring out some food to another table. So we decide to give it a few more minutes just to see. About 10 minutes more we realize we were the 4th table that was sat and there's one after us. Only 2 have food, and it's been almost an hour and 45 minutes. So we get up and walk to the front. I tell the lady we would like to pay and leave. She apologizes and says we don't have to pay for the water and one drink we received with no re-fills and small cup of soup. She says the kitchen is just busy. This place seems like they have no idea how to work in phone orders with in-house dining. It was an awful experience. 1/10 because they didn't try to make us pay for the drinks, otherwise it would be a zero. I will definitely NOT try this place any time we are back for basketball in the next few years and I won't recommend it either. read more

While on vacation, my family and I drove to Coos Bay to visit my grandparents and stayed at a local motel. With it being Mid-July and inside the COVID pandemic era, we decided to order Chinese delivery. First, let me compliment their website. It was super easy, quick and efficient. Their online menu was very easy to understand, with absolutely no issues processing the order or payment. We ordered a family combo "C for 2," and it was more than enough food to feed 4 people (for $31.50). The food was good. By good, I mean it arrived warm, fresh and edible, but wasn't anything to write home about. I thought the rice was bland, but the bbq pork was super (not too dry like most places). The soup was okay. The shrimp and Mar Far chicken were both yummy. My only disappointment was the lack of "pink sauce." I purchased both an "orange sauce" and a "red sauce" hoping that one of them was the "pink sauce" most Chinese restaurants in southern Oregon carry, but neither of them were it. The hot mustard kicked harder than usual (which we loved). I'm not sure if they automatically would have provided paper plates and silverware, but we called after making the order (prior to delivery) and they were happy to provide them. I LOVED the fact this restaurant delivered (without the need of a delivery service like uber eats or dash delivery). Incredibly convenient, and I was happy to pay for the convenience during the COVID. I am still confused about the tip vs the delivery fee in most establishments. This place charges a $5 delivery fee, which I completely understand. I only hope that $5 goes to the drivers (as compensation for mileage and gas) who use their personal vehicles. A tip is expected on top of the delivery fee. Long story short, we paid just over $45 to feed 3 people (with leftovers) and easily got our money's worth (with an added bonus of convenience). I would definitely recommend this establishment to people, whether you're passing through or staying a while. read more

I love everything about this place. Great staff. Amazing, classic food. I've tried every item on the menu and every dish is consistently satisfying. Well, I love everything about this place except one thing: the fortune cookies are weak! They're not even fortunes. My last one read "a person is never too old to learn..." what?! Stupid!!! Every restaurant supplying these traditionally necessary treats needs to step up their cookie game. I want to be either excited or afraid after I eat it- I think everyone deserves this. Fortune cookies need to be more than a blasé ubiquity. For this, I leave with a tinge of disappointment after my meal, but other than that, a true necessary pillar of the dining community. We used to love coming here, I was a big fan of the Mongolian Beef, I say was, as now it should be called Mongolian Cabbage. Although there was beef in it, it was few and far between the onions and cabbage. Wife had Singapore noodles, which had more onions than noodles. Huge disappointment. The one thing that I have had is an ongoing craving for House Singapore which is a curry noddle dish with vegetables, shrimp, beef and chicken but now they got rid of it and replaced it with you have to pick from the three proteins. I know it is hard for restaurants to survive during COVID-19, it's been hard on all of us but do get rid of dishes and raise the price gets rid of the loyal customers that kept coming back for their cravings, like me. There are not enough good things about this restaurant I can say, after my first experience with them tonight. I ordered the Pork Egg Foo Young, Hot And Sour Soup, and the Sesame Beef dinner special with the pork fries rice. Each item I got was top notch compared to other Chinese food I've had, and I'm a big foodie. Lived in both L.A. and S.F. before and this food rivals the best those cities have to offer. Too often you will order Hot And Sour Soup from a restaurant and it will taste like nothing more than soy sauce and water. In this instance, however, the broth was thick and flavorful and full of tofu and veggies The Egg Foo Young was large, moist, and full of meat, and the brown sauce was a really good complement. The Sesame Beef and pork fried rice was a pleasant surprise, not over breaded, and the pork fried rice on the side was, just like the Egg Foo Young, FULL of meat, and not your run of the mill fried rice with the same tiny bit of processed pork, peas, and carrots like so many other awful Chinese places do. This is honestly some of the best Chinese food I've ever had, and to top it off, the driver was EXTREMELY respectful about social distancing requirements. I cannot throw enough praise on this place. I called back after we got our food to give an extra phatty phat tip, because it was so earned. read more
