I came in to redeem my birthday offer for a free pizza. There was one guy and one girl working. The guy was very nice and provided good customer service. The girl made me feel terrible for being there and was slamming things around and commenting about how she couldn't wait for the day to be over. What a way to celebrate a birthday. I'm not sure how you justify me having to pay $14 in addition to my "free pizza birthday offer" but for a non-dairy pizza with vegetables only, it's a complete scam. Regardless, I was told I had to enter my phone number if I wanted to redeem the offer. The guy said nothing was coming up and the girl said "well you can't redeem that offer then, because if you had an offer it would come up". As if I was lying. I checked my account and realized that I had put in the wrong phone number. The guy asked the girl how he would be able to have me put the correct number in, and she very rudely said "well you'll just have to start the whole thing over". Being exasperated is not good service. Once we got everything settled, the guy said he was going to wash his hands and then he'd make the pizza, however she just immediately started doing it. She put olives on the whole thing instead of half, and when I mentioned it she rolled her eyes and said she would remake it. She did and it looks terrible, like maybe she dumped the toppings off and used the same dough, because there's sauce all over the sides of the crust and the paper tray. This will be a mess to get out of the saran wrap, let alone to cook. The sauce on the sides and bottom will probably burn. There's almost no cheese, hardly any spinach or pineapple, and the whole thing looks like the toppings were tossed like a salad in a bowl and then dumped haphazardly onto the messy crust. As I grabbed the pizza she yelled from the register to the guy in the back and said "that's it, I'm not doing any more walk in or phone orders. They can place an order online or not at all. I'm done." I don't think I'm ever going to come back again because this was such a bad experience. I'm literally sitting in my car crying and sending this feedback. I don't care how bad your day is going, this was awful behavior. She should not be allowed to work in any kind of service position. Treating any customer like they're an imposition is inexcusable, and for me it's multiplied due to this being for my birthday. read more

It's a take-n-bake pizza place, with good pizza. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because we seem to have really confused everyone at the store by requesting a mysterious new ingredient called "extra cheese." They all seemed completely baffled. Couldn't possibly fathom what we wanted. Even when I pointed at the sign on the wall and said "That ingredient right there, Extra Cheese, I want that," they seemed dumbfounded. They eventually settled on extra "topping" cheese. I have eaten at Papa Murphy's since the 1980's. I have purchased their pizzas from Las Vegas Nevada to Seattle Washington, and everywhere in between. I have always recommended them to others, and have always had good experiences and good pizzas from every single franchise I have visited. Until today that is. My girlfriend and I stopped at this Papa Murphy's for the first time (we usually get ours from the franchise on Newmark Dr.) and ordered 2 family sized pizzas, emphasizing FAMILY SIZE a number of times. This wasn't our first "rodeo", we know accidents happen in ordering so we make sure we order correctly every time. When they told us that our order was ready we found that they had only made one family sized for us! The other pizza was just a large sized pizza. We pointed out the problem to the employee who had taken our order and she insisted that we had only ordered one family sized pizza and one large pizza, and that we would have to wait until all the other orders ahead of us were filled before she could fix OUR mistake. She then stated that it wasn't her fault that we didnt know how to place our order correctly. The place was getting busy with other customers by this time so we decided to just take the screwed up order and leave, forgoing the 30 minute extra wait involved in getting our order fixed. When we arrived home and baked the pizzas we found them to be missing the extra garlic which we had ordered on each pizza! What a fiasco! Needless to say I will not be visiting this franchise location again. The one on Newmark is much better, and much more friendly. read more
