Dude! My Baconator only had one small sad piece of bacon tucked inside. It was just an "ator". No bueno. :/ The service is fine, everyone is friendly, but this place is on a downhill run. My kids enjoy it, but I'm about to veto it going forward unless something changes for the better.

Quality service that doesn't cut corners!!

In a world full of circles... When you think of a traditional burgers shape, what shape comes to mind? If you guessed round, you guessed right! But what if everything you thought to be true (or right) was actually wrong?? Dun..Dun...Dun!!! For instance, what if your pizza showed up in a triangular box, was square-shaped, but sliced into circles. Ok, ok that's just wrong and quite frankly, every pizza lovers worst nightmare. Let's get back on track, shall we... -------------------------------------------------- According to the companies spokesperson, the reason why Wendy's burgers are square is because Dave Thomas (Wendy's founder) "wanted to make sure that the patty sticks out of the bun so that everyone can see it, see the juiciness." And according to that same spokesperson, There's also a more symbolic reason: "The square burger represents a fast-food chain that refuses to cut corners." Well, I don't know about you, but I believe Dave Thomas was onto something and I will gladly stand in any corner (all 4 of their square burgers corners) of a brand that doesn't cut corners or try to conform just to fit in. --------------------------------------------------- What I love about Wendy's is their commitment to quality and the nostalgia of flavor that separates the rounds from the squares. For myself, a simple Dave's single will be just fine. That, a medium fry & coke and I'm a happy camper. I came here recently with one of my buddies and he put my single patty to shame. Him and his triple patty baconator; I'm just glad my CPR card was valid in case he went into cardiac arrest. In all seriousness, this location has provided great service with every visit, consistent quality of food, and quick service via the drive-thru. Thank you Dave and his daughter Wendy for staying true to your roots since 1969! And In a world full of circles... Be a Square!!

The tables were clean, with a single ketchup bottle on each, but no salt or pepper in sight, which suggested breakfast might not be their focus. I ordered an off-menu biscuits and gravy plate. It arrived all on one plate (personally, B&G deserves its own). There was plenty of bacon, and the eggs were cooked perfectly over hard, just as requested. Unfortunately, the gravy was clearly not house-made like a mix or canned product. Good gravy is inexpensive and easy to make from scratch, especially when you already have access to rendered fat. The biscuit underneath also didn't seem house-made; it resembled an underdone, flattened Pillsbury-style biscuit. The dish could have used salt and pepper, but none was available. At over $18 including tax and credit card fees, plus needing to ask for a key attached to a stick just to use the restroom, the experience didn't justify the price. It's not surprising breakfast isn't busy here. There are still places making biscuits and gravy from scratch at a lower price--see my other reviews for better options

I got the Thirty Acres Burger with the sunny side egg and bacon, and man was it good! The burger was cooked proper. The egg perfectly runny, but not overly so. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the burnt ends appetizer we got was also quite good! Their boysenberry cocktail drink menu is also filled with tasty options as well, which is unfortunately why this review has no pictures as we were having such a good time I forgot to snap any. :P The servers were friendly and were quick to check on us and keep the drinks coming - they were well staffed, and things were flowing perfectly. The ambiance is new and clean, I know it's a year or so old now, but it's clear they keep the place up. Lots of seating, and the restaurant is attached to the bar so it's about as close as the kitchen is. In all I was really pleased with everyting about this place and I would certainly return. :)

The order process was pretty simple -- I responded to their Instagram story and they reached out with follow-up questions, menu options, and pickup details. The pickup was from a home residence in the city of Garden Grove (off of Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue), nearby Pho 79 if you're familiar with the area. The exact address is provided with your order! The owner, Aamir, was very friendly and professional when I picked up my food and the burgers were packaged very neatly in separate boxes. I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. All in all, I would return for future orders and would love to see them open a brick-and-mortar restaurant someday, ideally in Garden Grove still. 10/10 rating and five stars all around for a seamless ordering experience, delicious food, and timeless customer service.

The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.
