I have a friend who watched a YouTube video that claimed Wendy's had the best fast food breakfast. So, we decided to see if that was true. We went to the location on West 11th. I was very confused as the menu was for lunch/dinner. I asked if we could see the breakfast menu. I was told that was not possible as she could reach the mechanism that changed it. She then described the menu to us. My friend thought he was getting a biscuit sandwich with bacon and sausage. He did not, her description skills are not what she seems to think they are. I chose a maple croissant bacon thing. The maple butter sauce on it was sweet and buttery with just a whiff of a slight urine smell. She asked for a name the order, I gave a name which she changed from "Jerry" to "Jered". If I ever feel like being Jered again, I think I will ask if the urine part could be on the side. read more

I've stopped by this Wendy's a few times in the past couple of years and it's always mediocre. If you go during the day, prepare to wait a while especially if you go through the drive-thru. I've seen the line backed up all the way to West 11th before, and I can't imagine why because it's not like the food is anything special. The food is typical fast food, usually only warm and not piping hot like it's fresh. The frosties are usually pretty melted, almost like the machine isn't kept cool enough. The people working the drive-thru seem to not really care about their jobs or customers, but to be fair they don't get paid enough to go above and beyond for anyone. If I had to work food service and deal with rude people all day I wouldn't be friendly either. If you're looking for a good and quick meal, go to Toxic Burger right down the street. I scheduled an interview with Wendy's last night. I chose for it to happen today at 4 PM. I walked in at 3:55 and said I was here for my interview. Right before I spoke, however, two girls at the front were complaining about not enough people being hired. I thought 'Good, maybe I have a chance here', but upon announcing I was here for an interview at 4, they looked between each other and then told me the individual who would do my interview wouldn't be in until 5 PM. This is absolutely unacceptable. They had about 24 hours to notify me about this change. They did even send a confirmation text earlier this afternoon saying I was still on for 4 PM, yet no one bothered to send a proper message warning me something came up and I needed to reschedule. I'm beyond disappointed to say the least. This experience has made me very seriously consider never going back to Wendy's for anything, even a meal. read more

Be ready and absolutely expect to be in line for no less than 15 minutes. When I say this place is usually slow, I mean they are SLOW. There are also times you order something and then aren't told they are out of the item until you get to the window, 10 minutes later. This is not okay. Either this place needs to actually hire people, or re-train its current workers. Never have I had such consistently bad experiences with Wendy's. There was a single instance where I was through the line with my food in less than 10 minutes. That was it. The parking lot is also really awkward. This is all about the service as the food, as always, was great. For the second day in a row at breakfast time, I have waited for 15 minutes (yesterday) and 17 minutes (today) for my food. Both days I ordered on the Wendy's APP at my house which is a 5 minute drive away. I included the drive time in the times listed above. Today I aske the young lady about the delay in service. She gave the expected standard excuses (under staffed, food cooked fresh, chicken takes 5 minutes to cook, etc.) I did push further by stating that if the chicken was cooked during my 5 minute drive, all that was left to do was put the meat between the bread, wrap it, bag it, and hand it out the window to me what happened during the other 12 minutes that I had to wait. She then stated that it was not her problem and that there were other restaurants that I could go to for breakfast. I plan to take her suggestion to the bank! I was the only car in the drive through and there were 2 customers inside the restaurant. The reason I am sure on the times is that the songs on my play list show the length of the songs and I listened to two 6 minutes songs today while I waited. Terrible customer experience. Placed an online order, arrived, and they had no record of my order yet still managed to charge me for it! I had a confirmation email with a confirmation ID and was told it still didn't matter even when I tried to show it. Do not use the online order feature through Google. I was forced to place (and pay for) another separate order. I've asked for a refund, or any explanation for that matter, only to be told by Google that I need to contact Wendy's and have been told by Wendy's to contact Google; the classic runaround. This is the only existing Wendy's left in our area and I see why. Average food at best and a horrible overall experience. I love supporting local business but this place won't get another cent of my money or time. It's discouraging when even the very basics of customer service aren't met. Want fast food? Went there on August 8 at 4:30 PM. They said they were out of CO2 for the pop so there was no soda or anything available. Not even ice in the dining room. There is no reason for any food service to be out of CO2 for their soda. Coca-Cola is their distributor. They have someone on call for those people that run out of things all they needed to do. Clearly they have poor management because you should never ever ever run out soda and ice in the restaurant. They had a girl at the cash register that was new and had not properly been trained. She did not know the answer to customers questions about products on the menu. It's clear to see that they would get a bad review. I came in here with my buddy Matt the other day. I had been wanting to try it out since it opened, and simply hadn't made it to this side of town yet. So I was pretty excited to go try it. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the cashier. I didn't catch his name, but he was all smiles, funny, detail-oriented, and efficient. I ordered my food and I asked him if my burger had pickles on it. He said yes, but he could fix that for me. I said no, I want extra pickles. God help anyone who forgets pickles on my sandwiches. I'm weird about that. Has to have pickles. Cashier took my name, and we were done. Matt ordered next, and I tried to get the cashier to put pickles on his sandwich (he hates pickles) and to call out the order with the name Cupcake. The cashier just kind of rolled with me trying to annoy Matt. I loved it. All done with a smile. The food was fine. It's Wendy's. It's not like it differs from restaurant to restaurant. I ordered the double cheeseburger, with extra pickles. Matt ordered the Baconator, with just ketchup and mustard. I'm always trying to sneak veggies in on him because I think his eating habits are weird. Anyway, both were made correctly, and that is huge in a fast food chain. The fries were hot, and not too salty. I am very sensitive to salt these days, and had no problems eating the fries here. I love that I can eat the fries here. I can't McDonald's without specifically ordering them without salt, as it's just too much. So it's definitely a nice change not to have that issue here. The restaurant itself is nice. It's clean, very modern decor, a couple nice chairs to relax in. It's a little smaller inside than I expected. Could get crowded fairly easily, I would think. Kinda hard to have a conversation, as it's a little loud too. But it wasn't terrible. The cleanliness is what I noticed more than anything, and I appreciated. Would I return? Yes. I don't eat fast food very often these days, but every once in a while, it's kind of a nice thing, or convenient. I enjoyed the food, the cleanliness, the speed and efficiency of our service, and the fact our orders were correct. I had no complaints. I'm very glad that the owner opened up a Wendy's again in Eugene. It was sad when they all closed, so definitely nice to have it back and one more option in fast food hamburgers. I used to enjoy Wendy's as a fast food. I don't frequent fast food places often, but there are times where you are on the go, and don't have time to cook. When this place first opened it was really decent, and I didn't mind driving to the only Wendy's in town. Now I am on the end of town where we have gone here twice with in a Month, and each time not only was the food terrible, the service was awful to boot. I had someone taking my order that clearly hated her job, hates customers, and treats customers with no respect what so ever. She was huffing, after everything I ordered that you could picture the eye rolls. I was shocked there was such attitude. Not only that, but she got my order completely wrong. Ask for small frosty's, and she ends up putting those in meals of Jr's. So they are jr child size. Now if that's what I wanted, I would have asked for it! My guy would have finished that in one bite! My chicken sandwich was not from the numbered meal I clearly ordered. It was like of a kids meal that was plain, with not a damn thing on it! The jr bacon cheese's were dripping with nothing but mayo! I was pretty disgusted to say the least! What a waste of money! I would have been better off going to McD's and I hate that place! Two star because I sympathize with the employees who are struggling to keep up with orders. I was DoorDashing and had to wait in line for 40 MINUTES(!!!) to get the food. Supposedly, most of the orders coming in at that time are from some kind of delivery service. This was on a Friday at midnight, and I was extremely frustrated because it cut into my ability to make money. Besides that, I basically delivered the food for free with all the gas that I wasted idling in the parking lot. We decided to go there, and to preface I worked fast food for a while so I understand that lots of people is stressful and things get missed. Well, she ordered 2 of the Jalepeno popper chicken sandwich things and neither one had the poppers on it.
