We received our meals served by the kitchen staff in short order , but still no martini. Finally the server came by to apologize but she was still waiting for my drink. By then I had her cancel the drink ordered altogether. Now mind you, I do not fault the staff. I think there was just two servers and one bartender on duty. But, this is where good management would have stepped in and assisted them. As to the shortage of beverages...well all I can say is that there is a Market Basket and a Liquor store in the very same plaza as the 110 Grill. In my humble opinion, a good manager would have made a purchase or two from the readily available retailers nearby, especially on a busy night. I did observe the manager standing by the kitchen window (presumably monitoring timeliness of the food orders). But still, I find it hard to believe the lack of bar supplies. Perhaps the manager could have pitched in and helped the overworked bartender, or attended to his needs. Now, I know that bars and restaurants depend on liquor distributors, and maybe this was a one off. At the same time, I also know that liquor sales are a high mark up item, so a little creative thinking would have gone a long way to making for happy customers. Again, the food was excellent, the service was the best it could be under the circumstances. Management, however could use some improvement.
