Stopped in here the other day for a quick burger. 1 person in front of me. Ordered, waited 15 minutes. Staff was busting there asses, but were still falling behind. Then the manager FRANK came out. He immediately started barking orders and telling everyone how bad they were and move quicker. So completely unprofessional. The final straw for me was when FRANK told an employee, "Maybe you'd move faster without that jacket on." I was embarassed for the poor guy because I just saw him busting his ass for 15 minutes while training a new employee to boot. At this point I asked for my money back which visibly irritated FRANK. I like to stop into most Wendy's restaurants, but this one really tops my cake. I ordered a Single burger with a drink (once I got there, I wasn't completely hungry, but knew I must eat - and I was "winging it by ear") and I got what I ordered. The staff never pressured me into buying things I didn't want, and placed the order accordingly. They told me that their card reader - while it has a chip reader - isn't working right (in that the chip portion doesn't work yet). They might be a smaller Wendy's than most, but with this place and their self-serve Coca-Cola Freestyle machines I really felt at home here. I dispersed some Sprite with strawberry as well as a tang of grape, and each time I could tell it was working right - though it did mess up at first when it didn't recognize my first tap to begin the process and tried to record the first order of Diet Coke (something I had to backup and try again). I know it's a little further than most of the Wendy's I visit - having had 2 Poughkeepsie locations, a Wappingers Falls location as well as a Kingston location, but if I'm in the area again, I'll stop in again. While I don't tend to come down quite that far on a normal route for me (I'm an Uber driver from the northern part of Dutchess County), I'll keep your location in mind and refer others to you if I see fit, or if I'm in the area and see another need. read more

My daughter went and picked up $34 worth of Wendy's for our family for dinner. We live about 15 min away. They didn't put my 10 piece nuggets in bag even though they were on the receipt and were paid for. Mistakes happen, no big deal, right? My daughter called Wendy's, gave the invoice number on receipt, and was told she could come back and get the nuggets or a refund. About 2 hours later, she left and on the way home swung into Wendy's to get a refund. She explained to the manager what happened , and told him she didn't have the receipt , but she knew the invoice number. He told her he would not refund her, but would give her nuggets. She let him know the nuggets weren't for her, she didn't want them, she just wanted her money back. He still refused to give a refund!!! When she called to tell me I was in utter disbelief...it's only $3.50 , but it's $3.50 that was paid for an item she didn't receive!! I am blown away. We called as soon as we realized the mistake, had the order number , went back same evening, and can't get a refund for THEIR MISTAKE??!! That Wendy's messes up my orders all the time but I always check my bags before I leave. I'll never go back I'm fed up. My daughter doesn't make tons of money, but she's not going to try to rip off a Wendy's for $3.50 plus tax. Lol AND to top it off, we were charged for 4 meals...my daughter ordered 3 sodas, and 1 iced tea, with the meals. they gave her the iced tea and told her they were out of soda. Hi, My name is Dom. I'm about 5'8" and I weigh about 270 lbs. I recently heard that 40% of subways "chicken' was actually chicken where as Wendy's is slaying it coming in at somewhere around 84%! Now, some people would think thats a serious problem, where as I understand the need to swap ingredients for the good of the earth. This may be a brand new building, a brand new restaurant, but they'll never have my business again. I work with a road crew and was sent to Wendy's today with one of the guys orders, and hoped to pick up something for myself. I walked up to the counter and stood there for probably 3 minutes before I was acknowledged. The gentleman behind the counter instantly started grumbling about his coworkers, for what seemed to me , like no reason. I then proceeded to place my coworkers food order. After repeating myself 3 times to the African American man behind the counter who simply wasn't listening to me, I finally got to pay for my coworkers food with a $20 and got back about $10 in change. Next, I tried to order a meal for myself and my partner... my total was approx. $15. (2 baconators and a beverage) I attempted to pay with a $100 bill. No only was the her behind the counter rude about it, but he actually took the bill put of my hand before telling me he didn't have enough change in his drawer. Never asked if I wanted to pay a different way; never offered a resolution, simply, and as rudely as possible announced basically to the whole restaurant that he couldn't break my bill. The manager, obviously a man who is a big fan of Wendy's foods, continued to keep his head in his work, plating with their high tech soda machine, instead of correcting his employees attitude, or offering a solution. So I called back and the worker answered the phone and I asked her again if the drive-thru was open and she told me no it was closed. I told her that the website said that location closes at 1am. She then made a silent pause because she knew I was right about the closing time and she didn't answer me; I then told her she needed to update the website then she said thank you in a very condescending manner then hung up on me! What a breath of fresh air!! My co-worker and I entered your establishment yesterday. Upon arrival we discussed how nice and clean the dinning area was and admired the fresh flowers on the table. We were then greeted by Corrilin or Carolin sorry for the spelling but it was a unique name. Loved her pearls and style in every way. Super friendly and genuinely happy to be taking our order!! We watched as each customer received the same service. The Manager then handed us our food and thanked us for our patience. And it only took 5 minutes. And, we watched as each team member asked if they could assist each other. All I can say is this crew is "rocking the show!" I was at this location on Monday Nov 25 about 2:15pm.. there was a very loud arrgument going on in Spanish between two of the Mexicans working in the kitchen. They were carrying on so much that a manager had to get between them. Mean while the girls at the drive thru were so involved in what was going on they stood there watching instead of doing their job. The only person in the whole place that did not involve herself and continued to do her job while this very loud, unprofessional scene was going on was the young girl at the counter. The people in front of me were so annoyed asking the counter person where their food was. We waited a significant amount of time as well. When we did get it, it was cold and the lettuce was wilted. The remodel looks quite inviting, and the young lady taking indoor orders today at 12:30pm was remarkably professional and friendly. The soda machine is the new mix-it-yourself type and they're fun to use. The food was usual Wendy's fare but the fries were salted far too much. It was more like French-fry flavored salt. The round booth had a wobbly table and we had to stuff paper towels to keep the sodas from spilling. That cost this review a full star. Overall, I'd go back. read more

I read some of the awful reviews and I'm surprised. I've never had a bad experience here. In fact my family stopped at this Wendy's tonight after we were completely ignored by two idiot employees at the KFC on Merritt Blvd. The service we got at Wendy's was professional ,and even though the woman that waited on us was very busy ,she managed to conduct herself in a friendly and professional manner. So i went to the new and improved wendys on Route 9 tonight. The food was as always good as far as fast food is concerned but the new floorplan is another story. I'm not sure who threw this together but they certainly did not put much thought into it. I would say there is at least fifty seats there and maybe twenty of them allow you to be able to see the new Tvs somewhat but for most part either you can't see the Tv or you are craning your neck in an effort to see the TVs. The best part is that the best seats in the house TV wise is considered the wi fi area. Think about this for a moment. You bring a wi fi device to occupy your time while eating so most likely you are not interested in watching TV. Those who want to watch TV can't see it. The best views of one TV is on the complete opposite side of the place from where the TV is mounted. Looks nice but very uncomfortable and not at all practical in my mind. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The only good thing I'm gonna say is that the renovations are nice. Still, I will not return. I used to go to this location a lot and after a while I got fed up by how unprofessional these people are. First of all, when you walk inside you will be greeted by a line of customers waiting to order. That's understandable but the only reason why the line never moves is because every time I'm there they only have one employee on the register. Why do you have two registers then? You have to have one employee that could work the other one. I know what people reading this review are thinking "go through the drive thru then". I attempted that once, just let me say it made the long line look a lot better. The drive thru is even slower ironically and they got my order wrong a few times. Since I have to wait for my food on the long line inside, I pass the time by watching the employees. I was here two days ago and that will be my last time. Anyway, I saw employees grabbing the chicken with their hands instead of using a utensil. I also saw that they tend to stand around sometimes and talk while people are waiting to order. The managers seem like they don't do much (I've read the previous reviews). Apparently they think their royalty and that they can make minors work longer than their supposed to. I've noticed that each employee is entitled to a certain position. Can't the managers do the same thing instead of standing there ? I sat towards the front of the store by the fireplace and I saw ants lining the bottom of the wall, Gross! The soda machines are different, but they confused me a lot (I'm old). There was a person cleaning the dining area and I was wondering why they didn't get rid of the ants. There seems to be drama there every once in a while. I went there a few months ago for a baconator and the manager fired a girl I guess and her mom came in and made a scene, I left immediately. This Wendy's is one of 5 locations owned by one individual. As an employee that recently quit I would like to tell everyone that the food is not fresh. Burgers will sit for 10-15 minutes which is well after it's sit time. These old burgers are still served. In fact, it is made a priority to serve the old gross patties first. The meat and chicken is most commonly handled without utensils, and the remakes/ mess ups are never newly made. This locations sister store failed inspection. This store only got an 80. That's not very clean for a brand new wendys. The management is atrocious, managers believe their title exempts them from hard work and most importantly responsibility. The customer certainly doesn't come first here. Aside from poor service and sub par food, this Wendy's also illegally schedules minors to 30+ hour work weeks, and does not allow breaks if a shift is under 6 hours. I would advise anyone to stay away from this store. The food is very expensive for the quality, and your order will more than likely be wrong. read more
