Ate here because I was staying in a hotel nearby and in a rush. If I had more time I would have gone somewhere a little more local. Came around 4:30/5 and it was fairly busy, considering it was early for dinner. The line moved quickly. The staff was polite to me but I noticed one or two of them were a little passive aggressive to each other. Food was fine. It was Chipotle. Filling, but a slop bowl. The ingredients were fresh and portions were good. As others have mentioned, this location was very dirty. There was food all over the tables. Garbages overflowing and needing to be changed. Which... if they're not getting changed over between lunch and dinner, then I imagine the restaurant would probably stay that way through the rest of the night. This customer base is... brutal. I came in expecting chaos because of the low rating, but what I actually saw was customers getting upset over pretty normal end-of-day issues. People were frustrated about things like brown rice being out around 8:40pm and utensils not being fully stocked. The staff stayed polite and patient the whole time. I ordered a basic chicken, rice, and beans bowl. It was hot, fresh, and exactly what I expect from Chipotle. This isn't fine dining -- it's fast food. I feel bad writing this but like, this place is so bad. I gave it two stars instead of one because the food didn't get me sick. I was sure I'd be sick because the place inside is so dirty. Food everywhere and trash everywhere. All the tables are so nasty and sticky. Nothing is stocked (I'm not talking end of day, I'm talking like middle of day). Y'all are the closest Chipotle for a lot of people here in Dutchess, and nobody wants to be driving up Route 9 all the way to Poughkeepsie. So I'm saying this with extra love and believe me, I won't even charge extra for the advice. Please have ingredients ready. Manager, you know who you are, you know how busy this location gets. Communicate with your higher ups and explain the demand so the store is stocked appropriately. Food was good, but the severing portions and attitude was terrible. The girl making my bowl gave terrible, tiny portions which were barely enough to feed a 7 year old. When I asked for more rice, she gave me a look before reluctantly giving a smidge more. My bowl was barely filled up halfway, and for the amount of food I got, the 10 dollars I paid was NOT worth it. The worker shook the spoon in order to not give me as much beans, and loaded it up with all the other sides I asked for to cover the complete lack of actual food. I ordered my food ahead of time around 4:45 and got there at the pickup time of 5pm. When I got there there was about two people ahead of me at the mobile pick up line. As customers came in to order, they were served first, leading to a very long line of folks waiting for online orders. While I waited for 20 minutes, I became frustrated, as they did not seem to be understaffed; there were at least 6-8 staff members working. I finally got my food at 5:20, which was good. And the restaurant was clean. Otherwise I would be giving one star. I would not have ordered ahead if I knew walking in and ordering would be faster! It'd help if the staff even cared to open on time. Google as well as their front door say 10:45AM. Showed up at 10:50 along with other customers and the door was still locked. Waited until 11:02 and walked back up with the door still locked. Multiple staff members inside that clearly saw people outside waiting to come in. Oh Chipotle...How could you be this horrible? First, I'll say that the food tasted "okay." This is typical chain-Mexican cuisine and it is a notch or two above Taco Bell. And this would be fine, all things considered. After all, one doesn't go to a Chipotle looking for an exquisite dining experience. While the food was "passable," this location's interior was truly abysmal. Corporate, if you're reading this, do send in your company's Food Safety Advisory Inspectors. In fact, the NY State Health Department may want to investigate this location as every inch of this restaurant appeared to be filthy and unsanitary. I hesitate to even mention the restrooms, which were atrocious and foul. Most squalid gas station bathrooms are "cleaner" that this Chipotle. I also did not see a sign for employees to wash hands. But there is more... The serving station was a disaster. Very unappetizing. Food was dripped, spilled, splattered, and fallen everywhere. No attempt was made to ever wipe a countertop or keep the serving station clean and tidy. The kitchen in back looked equally messy and unorganized. All of the tables were filthy and unsanitary. Moreover, the station where napkins and plasticware were kept was also in disarray and littered. (There were no forks and other plastic and paper items were thrown all over.) Oh, and the three trash bins were all overflowing with garbage. I cannot recommend ever going to this location. I imagine that cross-contamination could be a very real problem here. I walked in and got no greeting& no smiles. waited there for a minute with no recognition. I was about to leave before someone actually helped me and apologize for the delay. Sometimes you don't remember why you haven't been to a particular restaurant. I wasn't buying or flying, my friend still has a cast iron stomach. Until you go there again, and you'll remember why! The last time I was here was over five years ago; and since then I've been in Mexico City twice since then. Never had a problem there. Now I remember why I didn't go back to Chipotle. I've ordered takeout from here and it's wrong almost every time! The last 3 times I ordered Uber Eats and they forgot the chips for the chips and Guac. This time they forgot the chips and the Guac, my Burrito and our drink. Out of 5 items only 2 were sent!!! And my "burrito bowl" had one tiny scoop of meat. I ordered a bowl for my son. The guacamole was brown and the server didn't care, he just scrapped the bottom of the container and plopped it on top of the bowl. He was the only one working the line and was super slow, he was more interested in what was going on in the eating area than customer service. I let the brown guac "go" cause the line was growing longer and longer. All the tables were dirty and the garbage overflowing; it was so bad that customers started to throw their garbage on the floor. This will be my last time going to Chipotle in Fishkill. The last three times I tried place an order for a bowl, they are always out of something. Brown Rice, Grilled Vegetables, Steak or Guacamole. Today, I was ordering two bowls. They said they were out of Brown Rice, so I ended up with white rice. When I got to the end of the counter by the register, they said they were out of Guacamole too and they had none in back. I saw to the right at the other prep table against the wall, Brown Rice and Guacamole. I asked for Guacamole from the other table so I can complete my order. They refused. They said they cannot use that Guacamole because its at the other table. WTF. Management of this store better get a grip. I ended leaving my 2 bowls there and walk out. Just got dinner for the fam on a Saturday night at 6:00, prime dinner time. So shouldn't there be onions and peppers? Shouldn't the rice be fresh? I placed an order on their app for a Sofritos bowl and chips for delivery. When the order arrived, I first noticed the chips were missing and there was a burrito in the bag. As I looked further both the burrito and the bowl had chicken and steak in it. I don't eat meat so I am unable to eat both of these. I went to the app to try and get money back and they only gave me chips for free. After that I tried to call the store only to have no one pick up. This chipotle is always a hot mess and I am shocked that they are still open. read more

No matter what store you go to each one should follow the same recipe and ingredients, but It was just so different. The chips were very stale and unfortunately we ordered four bags of it.
