Okay so I'm pretty sure I am the only person on Yelp reviewing Wendy's but with there new breakfast menu coming out I had to try it- especially when they offer there honey chicken biscuit for free. So as the stars show this breakfast is definitely mediocre, nothing close to the Popeyes chicken sandwich hype. Both the sandwich and home fries were cold. Which I don't understand because there was literally no other customer in the store when when we came. The chicken sandwich tasted like it was a Jimmy Deans frozen breakfast sandwich. It wasn't terrible but not worth paying $3.50 each, especially when you are competing with business like Chick-fil-A! If you are going to serve just a plain chicken biscuit with honey smothered all over it, at least use real tasting chicken all the honey slather on it in the world couldn't take a way the "fake-nesss" of this chicken. The home fries despite being cold was surprisingly good and they should honestly serve these fries instead of there usual ones! I wanted to try the frost-chino while I was there but I some how got charged twice for my order with the sandwich and fries and they couldn't figure out why, so I just decided to not complicate things more by adding a drink. All in all, if I was on a road trip and I was desperately hungry for breakfast I would stop by Chick-fil-A if there was not Chick-fil-A around I would THINK about stopping at Wendy's but definitely only for there home fries!!!

It's a little smaller than most Wendy's. Driving into the parking lot or drive thru can be a little difficult, it's at a sharp right angle with traffic coming up behind you. Otherwise, it's a Wendy's.

Adequate and expected food and service. Standard to what I expect of a Wendy's and wasn't disappointed.

Newburgh, NY - we were directed to eat here by a friend after we visited nearby Motorcyclepedia…read more It's a popular local hangout, and the vibes immediately strike me as: if this were my neighborhood watering hole, I'd be a regular here. The decor alone earns a star: rock n roll ephemera covers every surface - walls, ceiling, shelves and display case - and takes me back to the days when I went to "shows" and not "concerts." There's even a small stage in the corner for live music, so that definitely checks out. Our friendly server Dianne hands us menus printed on newspaper, and I needed a moment to decide between the large selection of comfort food classics with creative variations on a theme - burgers, sandwiches, salads, mac & cheese, chilis & soups, burritos, wraps, fajitas, rice bowls, and specialty entrées - finally settling on some apps and a burger to share with my kiddo (which I'm told are good here), while our friend went for a steak bowl. There's a surprisingly large vegan and vegetarian section. Surprising because I haven't come across many veggie-forward pubs that offer anything more than a perfunctory Beyond Burger/black bean burger and an anemic salad. Here, they actually respect the non-carnivore's right to have some decent choices. The "hot" wings are alright and not really hot (though admittedly my spice sensors are likely eroded from my intense affinity for heat), but the poutine was a standout, which we ordered with bbq pork add-on. And while it won't quite pass muster in Montreal (tbh I've rarely had authentic poutine in the US despite seeing it on menus a lot - the cheese curds are never right), it was piping hot and delicious. The revelation was the twisty cut potatoes underneath, seriously additive! I love places with heart, which isn't always easy to define but the effort can be discerned in the atmosphere and the details. The Wherehouse has got that spirit & essence. With 16 rotating draft lines featuring regional brews, and substantial food offerings that far outpaces the typical bar menu, it's a down-to-earth dining establishment with the soul of a dive bar, that makes you feel welcomed like a local from the get-go.

We'd been striking out, one call after another, as every spot in our town decided to close up early that night. So landing a last-minute res. at this tiny, offbeat bar-restaurant in Newburgh, NY felt like a win. We just wanted a few bites+drinks before heading to Briarcliff Manor for a Halloween party and ended up finding way more than that. Unbeknownst to us, The Dylan Doyle Band played that night and man...was he good. The kid uses funk, rock, blues, R&B in his mix. Plus he sang his own renditions of D'Angelo- to honor him that night, Chaka and several others. I mean...he absolutely blew us away! But imagine this: it's got the vibe of Tarantino's From Dusk Till Dawn bar feel, minus the vampires and gore. This place is welcoming, unpretentious, serves decent bar food and has an excellent vegan menu that goes wayyyy beyond the usual portobello burger. Carnivores are covered too. Drinks are ok too. But do let them know light on the ice. We got music- a live band at that, decent food and had a fantastic time. This is Wherehouse.

It's Passover so I couldn't indulge myself but I can vouch the fries are solid potato, not greasy, skins on. All good stuff. But for this special event a number of food items were off the menu that I could have eaten. Beer rating: Up to you because most beers are IPA. Just two brown ales - a light 4.2% and a cherry? was about it. Fortunately they had a special mix of cider and brown ale that went with my meal, but I'm not an IPA guy so this is a little low for me. Finally, the other stuff. Wide open room is nice any day of the week. Friendly and patient service. Great of them to partner to host events like this. Local business - always gets my attention. The verdict: 4 stars to start, I'll have to come back on a regular day to finish this properly.

The bistro has a cute exterior offering a few outdoor seats and a minimal but stylish interior and is perfect if you want to stay and chill or get your food to go. This isn't Subway so the sandwiches are priced above $10, but considering the quality and quantity (and maybe because I'm just acclimated to paying ridiculous prices in the City) you definitely get your money's worth. I heartily enjoyed the sliced hanger steak sandwich and found the mix of horseradish mayo, sautéed mushrooms, and arugula on a toasted ciabatta to be perfection. I also tried the fried chicken sandwich which was well seasoned and made all that much better with the sriracha mayo and pickles! I will be back for certain to explore the rest of the sandwich and salad options, especially the capers and oyster mushroom sandwiches and roasted beet and goat cheese salads. They also offer baked goods from Newburgh Flower Shop down the block as well as a variety of coffee and tea drinks. If you get pickup, call the restaurant directly because the prices through Doordash are higher to compensate for the fees the restaurant has to pay. Good to have Toasted on the Liberty Street scene!

The bread was sturdy and crusty and crunchy on the outside. The oyster mushrooms were accompanied with a lovely spicy aioli and pickles. Even though it may a cost a little more than a sandwich from a national chain, the food is made with lots of care with fresh ingredients and the portion is enough for two lunches (at least for me). It was a little messy so I was glad I was outside to enjoy it. It's a small space inside (perhaps 5 square table for 2 each) and it's almost kitty corner to my favorite shop, Oliver & Chatfield. Since it's a little further down on Liberty street, you'll find plenty of street parking.

They definitely check IDs (for the youngins). I saw some girls waiting outside because they didn't have proper IDs and couldn't get in. It was $20 to enter. Not too bad considering there was an artist performing. They patted us down very thoroughly both males and females. Then we went straight to the bar. This also didn't take long to get a drink. It took about 5-6 minutes. I ordered a Don Julio with cranberry. I just wanted something quick. It cost $20 for a double. I think that's pretty crazy but I feel like all bars charge crazy prices for drinks. I would advise pregaming. The bar was definitely packed. There was no table of chair that wasn't filled and the dance floor was full of people. The music selection was great. Mainly rap and R&B, new and throwbacks. There are LED screens everywhere that really give the appearance of an upscale club. The bathrooms are pretty clean and accessible. The people are friendly and good vibes. I didn't try any food because I got there around 12 am, but I will be going back to try. The security guards do their job well and yes they told my boyfriend and I to move away from the hookah door by asking us "Are you buying hookah? If not move away from the door."
