Just left after placing a DRIVE THRU mobile order. The lady, who appeared to be a manager (her name may be Luisa, but couldn't make out name tag) said I had to come in for the order. Nope, I chose drive thru. I showed her and she said, no you have to come in, it's over there. As she points to the other side of the counter. Ha ha. I waited. A car pulled up behind me and she must have felt compelled to have me disappear. She did hand me my food and without attitude. However, I waited to ask for ketchup and as she opened the window, she gestured her hand to say no more and that was with attitude. I asked for ketchup and she nicely handed me enough to fill a bottle. The sad thing is that these breakfast potatoes are so delicious, but now I will be hesitant to visit this location during the morning. Here's What I Think...Please try the Seasoned Potatoes. This Wendys is A-ok. Sometimes highschool students get off and the wait is horrible - but otherwise the restaurant is doing well in putting out food for a low price and decent quality. I like places like Wendys because there are some different options. Chili, baked potato, chicken burgers... No doubt there is some variety - much more than InNout or McDonalds. Also appealing is how in general it isn't all that popular. I'm tired of these crazy lines at popular new chicken places - Raising Caines - or lines at InNout. Its crazy to think a 45 minute wait is acceptable for a slightly overpriced chicken burger just because some who ha must have put it on social media - Tic Tack. Unless you come when the nearby highschool or middle school students get off the lines move fairly quickly. James is often there and I'd say he is an excellent worker. At times when things are most crazy he keeps calm and feeds the endless line of young students. Wendy's has a $6 value deal that I think is unbeatable. Fries, a drink and a burger and chicken nuggets... don't know how much longer it will last!? read more

August 2023 Update. So they are improving on order accuracy. I had ordered a Crispy Chicken sandwich off the value menu and a Crispy Chicken BLT for my husband. The Crispy Chicken was $2.76 and the Crispy Chicken BLT was $3.11 My husband , I ordered him 2 cookies for desert. Unfortunately my order total was under the minimum to use Dash Pass benefits so Personally, I think that their Crispy chicken has more crunch than the one on the value menu at JIB and also the one at McDonalds for the McChicken. A funny question but I was serious asking to my husband was: I know you like Nation's BLT honey but how do you like the Crispy Chicken BLT? He says he really likes it because Wendy's modestly puts on the ingredients for this BLT and Nations puts too much junk on their sandwiches. SO..... What a terrible experience to say the least. I made an order on the app yesterday 4/4/2021 and upon arrival the staff at the drive-thru intercom said my order is not in the system. I told him that I have a receipt and the notification that said my order is ready to pickup. He then said there's nothing he can do about it because my order is not showing in the system. He suggest that I park my car and wait to see if my order will eventually show up. I already waited in line and received the notification that my order is ready. I'm not sure what the hassle or confusion is about. I offered multiple times to pull up to the window to show my receipt to prove that I did indeed make a purchase and not lying to get a free meal. Again, the staff disregarded that I said there's nothing they can do about it. At this point I am convinced that the staff made an error and gave me order away to another customer. That's one reason why its not appearing in the mobile order when I arrived. So I pretty much got charged for the order in the expense of an operator error or system glitch. Even though I have a receipt its not enough for them to fix the problem and now I'll have to open a ticket on the Wendy's website. I doubt I'll hear from them. So I decided to quickly do the drive thru at this Wendy's but ended up regretting the decision. All I wanted were to try a few of their chicken nuggets which didn't have a picture, but I was hopeful. But unfortunately what I received were a few coin sized chicken nuggets that would have never passed quality control. They looked more like large protein supplements. Oh well... I should have looked at them before I drove away. A medium Coke Zero, two sets of tiny chicken nuggets... one spicy and one regular, all came out to about $10. Sad. One star for the quick service, which now makes me a bit skeptical. Although they were all super tiny, they tasted good. Another star for the taste of the chicken "nuggets". HORRIBLE dine-in and carry out! I'm not exaggerating about any of this. Bathroom,no paper towels or toilet paper. They have so many staff but some how orders still get mixed up. The primary thing that blew my mind was how sticky the floors are. Not just a small area that they didn't get a chance the mop yet. The whole floor expect near the dinning tables by the front windows. So sticky if you stand in 1 spot for 30 seconds, your shoes will stick to the floor. Wait time- at this location we always have to wait. It varies anywhere between 5-20 mins as only drive thru is open due to covid. Quality- food is always fresh and taste wonderful. So normally I don't eat fast food but with watching the Olympics and late night commercials I decided I had to try Wendy's Smoky mushroom bacon cheeseburger. I was thinking how could you go wrong it has all the good stuff in it!!! But then reality kicks in and what you see is not what you get! I even ate there so it wasn't placed in a to go bag and carried somewhere and yet it still looked nothing like the ad photos! As soon as I unwrapped it, I was so disappointed that I wanted to return it but decided I should at least give it a chance. The burger I got was not fresh, there was hardly any onion rings, the mushrooms were black and it contained one piece of bacon that was torn into two topped with cheese that hadn't melted. Just got food from here and my daughter got a southwest salad. As she was eating it something cut open her mouth and when she pulled it out it was the pictured metal type rod. It appears to have broken off something. When you rub it, dark gray comes off of it. I tried to call Wendy multiple times and when I finally got through a woman said she was the manager, wouldn't give me her name and kept saying no I don't think so I do t know how that would happen. I really like this Wendy's location (as compared to both of their Fremont location that we've been to) since it's very updated and is quite nice complete with a fireplace that my son always likes to sit next to while he enjoys his Chicken BLT. I'm not a huge fan of fast food restaurants but Wendy's is my favorite place to eat at if I had to pick one since they have items in their menus that most places do not have. I don't like burgers so I usually order their chili, baked potato and, my ultimate favorite is their Frosty. I also am not into French fries but fries dipped in their Frosty is heaven for me. Speaking of Frosty, every holiday season, Wendy's has this nice little fundraiser where you buy a Frosty key tag for $2 and you can get Junior Frosty for a year. It's only sold during the holiday season and I get at least one every year. The best part is 85 percent of every $2 key tag sold will benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The key tags are valid through 12/31/20. I always look forward to my new key tag every Holiday season. My son really LOVES their Chicken BLT and every time I run in to get him one, I get a free Junior Frosty for myself and I've been doing this for a few years now. My son gets his favorite and I get mine. I love their chocolate Frosty but sometimes they only have vanilla but it's quite good. I like it when one time, I originally ordered chocolate and they gave me a vanilla instead so I tried to exchange it for a chocolate since that's what I ordered. They went ahead and gave me the Junior Frosty Chocolate and they let me keep the Jr. Frosty Vanilla. That was like winning the lottery for me! Yes, I do appreciate the small things. I consider that great customer service for me since some will just take it and throw it away. This place is always so clean and inviting. I never had any issues getting a parking spot since they have a good-sized lot. It has easy access through Mission Blvd. and I almost, always stop by here when I'm driving through Mission. The employees are always so nice and helpful. We will definitely keep coming back here. One tip: Rite Aid usually has a deal usually during the holidays as well. If you buy a $25 gift card, you get $5 back in rewards and Wendy's is usually a part of it. I just did it this past Black Friday. I'm always on the look out for this deal since my son likes their chicken sandwiches so much. read more

Let me start by saying the food here is great and a fantastic alternative to the bland and expensive for what you get at Mikkie D's across the street. My big problem is with the store manager that was on duty today when I visited for a liesurly late lunch today, Sunday Oct 2, 2022. When my friend and I found a good place to sit near the exit door, I noticed a homeless person laying on the ground sleeping. When the next wave of customers arrived and passed him because the exit door was next to the pick-up window of the drive thru he jumped up and started hitting up every car that drove by with an open drivers side window. He was quite succesful doing this. In less than 35 minutes he was goven 3 burgers, one large drink, a milk shake and several wads of folded money and loose change. I have no problem offering food to a homeless person and that is not what I am writing about. My problem is that after all of the food and drink, he relieved himself on the spot in front of all the seated guests in the dining area by first putting his right hand between his legs to deflect his pee and poo behind himself where it ended uo outside the exit door. He then wiped his hand off and resumed stopping car passing him with his right hand and the drivers passing him were unaware what was in his hands just moments before. I found the store manager and explaned what was going on and showed her pictures of what had occurred. The pictures were on my iPhone which meant they had a time-date stamp and the location was Geo-Tagged by the GPS in the phone. The manager did absolutly nothing and over the next 30 minutes we were there the homeless guy was joined by two others who appeared to know him well. I left that location soon after that. read more

I used to love this Wendy's. Their food was so fresh and tasty for being a fast food joint, I'd come here all the time for chicken sandwiches. Now what do I find but that they've discontinued my favorite sandwich, the homestyle chicken, and replaced it with a "classic chicken sandwich" that's just a rip-off of that trendy Popeyes sandwich. Now, instead of a crispy chicken sandwich with loads of tomatoes and fresh crispy lettuce on it (and no pickles), I get a sandwich with too many pickles, way too much mayo, and one single thin sad piece of iceberg. This is not an improvement! It's a flashback to those pathetic chicken sandwiches I used to get at burger king when I was a kid. Am I going to have to start special-ordering a "classic chicken sandwich" with no pickles and add way more lettuce to get what I want? At least the nuggets and chili are still good. Love Wendy's just not this location. Whenever I decide to go in the morning when ordering through the drive-thru the same staff member always forgets something from my order. Then wants to be all mad about it when asked about the missing order. Luckily I started checking my bags before driving off because it happens way to often. I'll say it; I love fast food. I really do. I don't know why I would rather eat at a place where I can get in and out and enjoy my meal. I have got to say Wendy's has really upped there game in the Burger World. I like them way more then Burger King and I was all about that in the past. The Burgers here are great and there new deal the Big Bag is $5 bucks it's a killer deal. You get a double burger, fires, nuggets and drink for $5 bucks oh baby. I'm such a big eater I always get 2 and get a 2 cookies cuz I'm growing into a a set of B cups. But it's one of my many places where I love to get my fast food on; my only beef with this place is the service is a bit on the slow side and they have messed up my order a few times.
