Amazing service today 11/3/24 @7p. The cashier was so helpful, so sweet. I was eating with my son and I watched him go above and beyond in his service for an elderly couple. It appeared that it would've been difficult for the older gentleman to carry the drinks and tray to his table. But the cashier so warmly carried it right over to them and sat it down at their table. I still live those square beef patties with all the fresh fixings made to order using my Wendy's APP. Tonight I used the drive through using my Wendy Mobile Order. They made my made to order Burger Combo fine, but got my side nuggets wrong (spicy & cold temp, instead of regular and hot temp.) Also no napkins or sour cream with my potato. I walked back in and they corrected the items that were wrong. Hard working crew that made a few errors due to the heavy volume of customers tonight. All is forgiven. Busy Wendy's. The drive through can be really slowwwww I'd park and just walk in. The lady taking the order today was a senior citizen. I asked for the bathroom code and she held up a sign that had 5 numbers written on it LOL. The grilled chicken club salad is tasty. 7-11 salads are over $6 these days and they don't have hot chicken and crispy bacon on them. So of you want a salad it's kinda a no brainer. It's good for Keto where fat doesn't matter. But avoid this salad Iike the plague if you're trying to do low fat. The drink machines are awesome. Today 12/15 at about 1030pm. I waited in line for more than 25 minutes and each time I asked serval times, if I can place an order they would say "in just a minute ". I drove forward no one other cars were in line. I asked for manager, she said we are short handed. But there was only one person in line on the inside. I saw at least two workers plus the manager moving around. They could taken the order and have us move forward. The manager had a matter of fact demeanor and non apologetic. Happy National Hamburger Day! Recently, I got the Wendy's app because of T-Mobile Tuesday. At the time, customers of T-Mobile could get a free ten-piece chicken nugget meal with purchase. Since then, the app sends me messages about deals and special offers. For example, today, those who have the Wendy's app could get a free single burger or a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger. I chose the latter. The closest Wendy's to me was the one near Honolulu International Airport (now known as the Daniel K. Inouye Airport). It had lots of free parking and two cashiers to keep the short line of customers moving! Service was quick and efficient. I ordered a medium drink for $2.61 (including tax), filled my cup with the beverage of my choice at the self service station, and took my brown package to go. At home, I enjoyed my cute little Junior Bacon Cheeseburger. I liked the fresh lettuce and tomato and special sauce! The bread was soft and the burger was tasty! Hmmm... Waited in line for 30 minutes with 4 cars ahead of me. Workers were very apologetic for the wait but when I got home I saw they forgot to give me a fork for my salad and the salad dressing and croutons. Wendy's by Puuloa (the airport) re-opened recently after a large renovation. I decided to check it out. They made the outside eating area actually usable now. They put down tile vs having bare ground. With the latter, the tables would sit unevenly and get all muddy after a good rain. Inside... The inside looks much more open. They opened up the center area to allow more people to stand in line. Also it looks more updated/modern. The beverage dispenser is awesome. You can have a regular drink or have something really custom. I managed to get a "Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke" from the machine. I laughed watching the different flavors dump into my drink. It tasted alright. Although the new condiment dispensers are... Horrible. I had a tough time trying to get napkins and lids out of the dispensers. They left the ketchup dispenser low, thus hard to pump out. Plus the placement of the cups for the ketchup made little sense. They placed it on the opposite side of the counter which had the lids, straws, napkins all crammed in that one corner. Thus if one customer stood in front of it, you had no access to them until he/she moved. The food tasted fine. But I did ask to dine in. What I got were bags of my meal placed on a carry out tray. I was like "Um... Okay. Thanks." I walked away with the two bags and left the tray behind. read more

This Wendy's location deserves my five stars, yes its fast food and I know fast food is not good for you, but if you make a stop once in a great while and splurge occasionally its ok. I've had positive experience every time I make a stop at this location. I'd never forget the memories stopping at this Wendy's, when I visited Oregon all by myself for the very first time & before my husband dropped me off at the airport, we stopped here because it was on the way and convenient for a quick meal. We got the 4 for 5.00 meal and that was a whole lotta food and such a great deal. Where can you get quality food, 4 items for 5.00? I really think that 4 for 5.00 is a great deal, you choose your burger ( cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, you can even select a burger with bacon ) nuggets, fries and drink all for just 5.00. During my recent Sunday visit, on Sundays my son gets to pick his dinner choices, since I was nearby Wendy's I suggested Wendy's. Due to Covid 19, means no dine In, we ordered via drive thru and the cashier was friendly, even asked me, how my Sunday is going so far and drive thru line moved quick. I ordered my son the meal with a chocolate frosty for just $5. His favorite and he sure enjoyed his meal and I have a feeling, this will be a usual Sunday stop for his dinner. My opinion, the chicken nuggets, fries, & burger taste way better than ( don't want to mention business) a few other fast food. For healthier options I will try the salads next time. Last night, my boyfriend and I stood in line to order our foods, but I had to go use the bathroom while my boyfriend stood in line to wait to order our foods. 5 minutes passed after using the restroom, they never took my boyfriend's order, so I looked at the girl who was doing the orders and a manager helping out two of the other customers with their orders. I told my boyfriend to do the self-order because it seemed like everyone was too busy focusing on the drive-thru and at the same time looking at us, and NOT one of them helped us. It took my boyfriend 10 minutes to get our orders on the self-order system that they had, and it has been years since I never had Wendy's. But the system was so slow! So, we got our orders, sat down in the dining table, and waited. My boyfriend and I watched the workers as we waited for our foods, and the girl seemed like she was having a hard time organizing the orders, especially with Doordash, for like a good 10 minutes. I noticed this white guy was giving the girl a hard time getting a bunch of other things onto that Doordash order, but she could have been more efficient and a little faster. Just saying! Meanwhile, as we were waiting, we were getting impatient, so I walked up to the counter, looked down, and saw the receipt that we ordered. I asked her if the one that she was preparing for with the tray and said, "Is that order for us?" No response, or I couldn't hear her while she was looking at the screen and at the same time doing the order (Obviously, my order), but not at me. Just a grin. Grabbed the food, headed over to the table we sat on, and I noticed the nuggets looked different because I ordered the regular. I took one nugget, ate it, and it was spicy, so I took the nuggets back to the counter and told the girl that I ordered the regular and gave me what I ordered What I've learned from that experience and not only they renovated the place but the customer service didn't do justice. I've been a Wendy's customer for a very long time. That has come to an end. All the things I liked about Wendy's has changed. To start with, you can no longer make substitutions of the french fries for a small chili or baked potato. I didn't know that changed. It's not like advertised that. I went through the drive thru prepared to order my "usual"(#1 Dave's single, mustard onion pickle only, sub chili for fiesta and a lemonade instead of a coke) I gave the lady on the speaker my order and she cut me off saying that they no longer allow substitutions. I was dumbfounded and incredibly disappointed. I didn't want to argue, so I just ordered the # 1 meal. I had to repeat mustard, onions, pickles 4 times before the person taking the orders got it right. I got up to the cashier, which was also the pickup window and I was surprised to see that the person that couldn't get my order correctly was the MANAGER. She told me my order was $15 and some change. For a Dave's single combo meal? She said she added each item separately instead of the meal deal. I made her correct it and she very rudely returned $2.50. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. No substitutions? We were in the area and I've been on a mission to try all the chicken sandwiches on the island, so we stopped by to get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich from this location. It took much longer than I thought it would take to get my food (we were the only ones in the store that didn't have our food yet, and we waited around 8 minutes for one sandwich). The sandwich was VERY VERY subpar. The bread was super dry despite being covered in mayonnaise and practically flavorless. The chicken was also unbelievably dry and didn't have any flavor besides a kick of spice. There was one sad piece of lettuce and tomato sandwiched between it. read more

I have eaten here a few times. It is hard to review chain fast food restaurants as the food and layout are made by design to be the same. What makes this restaurant stand out to me though is each time that I've been here the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't have walked more than two feet into the building without being greeted and welcomed to the restaurant. If I can give this Wendy's location negative stars, I would. This is the 3rd time that we have used their drive thru and gotten duped out of what we paid for. One time, it was missing one of the burgers we ordered. Another time, we ordered 10 meals for the office and they missed out someone's order entirely. This time, we ordered the double baconator and it was only 1 burger. I even convinced my son to order the same thing and he was so disappointed when he opened his sandwich to see how small and that it wasn't a double. See picture below. Wendy's remodeled and it looks great, but honestly, am I the only one who thinks the foods were better before the renovation? I like Wendy's, I usually come by after work to grab a bite to go. I ordered the Dave's Single and the Baconator Fries. Before the renovation, the Dave's Single burger looks picture perfect, the buns were fluffy and the meat patty was cooked well. Now, when I recently ordered it, the burger was so soggy and the patty was pretty broken. The flavors were still there but I couldn't finished it because the soggy buns were really wet. Not really sure if the buns were soggy because they over sauced it or something else. The Baconator Fries that I usually ordered from before was one of the best cheese fries I've tried. The cheese was melted evenly over the fries with a good amount of tiny bacon bits crumbled on top. However, now for the fries, they barely or did not melt the cheese over the fries at all (as you can see in the photo). The bacon were also in large pieces that it wasn't well integrated into fries and cheese. I thought since they were recently renovated that their employees were not trained yet but it was a disappointing experience. The interior of this place looks great but I wish the foods match with how it supposed to look as well. read more
