We decided to try this location one evening after my kids' school event. We arrived there around 9:20pm, placed an order through the kiosk by 9:25pm, but the wait time for our food was over 30mins! We ordered chicken fried noodles, chili spaghetti, and chicken katsu curry. The food was not worth the 30min wait. It is the typical local food very similar to LnL or Loco Moco. We were disappointed because we were expecting really good food since this place was feature on cheap eats & a few other local social media creators IG pages. The price point is good for the amount they give. There are other locations on Oʻahu if you're interested. The vibe of this place is very laid back. Probably an off night, I've eaten here before in this location and it was always good. Nice atmosphere clean and spacious. Service was good but I felt like the server and manager didn't do enough. We ordered the "Oh My Pac" x2 and both had the same results. The Shrimps batter was hard crispy and would just fall apart off the shrimp when just moving it. The inner part of the batter was wet and mushy, unpleasant taste. The shrimp didn't taste fresh. The Mochiko Chicken had a weird taste in the batter as well but the chicken itself was just ok. I felt the oil needed to be changed. After I told the server, no apologize was given and she did talk to the manager about it. Nothing was done afterwards. I felt like the manager should have approached and apologized to us or even compensate us a portion of the meal as good customer service. Our first time here and it was a Friday night. Got seated immediately & food came out quickly. Our server was very nice. She even walked with me to the bathroom because I had a hard time opening the door. I enjoyed the spam fried noodles. It may be a bit too salty for some but it was perfect for me. There were generous with the spam which was great. My husband had the Mochiko chicken & garlic shrimp combo. The chicken was good but didn't like the shrimp. It had a fishy previously frozen taste. The food here is delicious! AND The portions are great for your buck! The ambience is chill and casual and they do a good job at keeping their locations nice a clean. Service during this visit was excellent. And for those who don't know they have the cutest design on their take out bag for like 38 cents or something like that totally worth it. After watching Raina win the food eating contest. I said I have to go try their food. This must be one of the best hidden secrets! I took my family here and they didn't disappoint. It's definitely a hidden gem! It is in a plaza with plenty parking. The inside is not huge. It had about 9-12 tables. The restaurant is open concept. It gave a cozy family vibe. We had my mother-in-law with us who has a wheelchair. So we had to wait until a table was available that would be accessible for her wheelchair. We got the table and placed the orders. The menu was huge it had so many options and offered mix and matches. Which was good but the best part was the prices and portions. The candle on the cake was the food was good. Ordered chicken cutlet curry which came with rice and green salad or mac. The cutlet was tender. The photo was a mini plate. Which was alot of food. Curry was mild and not the sweet Japanese curry. Mix plate came with teriyaki beef, hamburger patty, beef curry or beef stew, rice and mac. Curry over rice with 1/4 size potato and carrot. Glad we decided to try here for a late lunch after an 11 am movie. There was one large table of 6 men and us. In a matter of minutes lots of tables were filled with people coming to pick up orders and place take out orders. Cute logo on their salt and pepper canisters. They give a free black bag for our left overs to take home. My mini shrimp curry was just right for lunch. The milk tea I asked to have it in a take out cup was perfect- not sweet. I had the fried fish with fries. Also ordered the crab rangoon. My granddaughter had the orange chicken. My son and daughter-in-law had the combo meat plate and my grandson had the chicken katsu with fries. The food is good comfort food. Nothing to write home about except it does seem reasonably priced compared to other spots we've been to. That's a big plus in my book and something that would draw me back. I'm not sure I would order the crab Rangoon again. They tasted fine and were large. They just don't serve them with any type of dipping sauce. The chicken was crispy outside and yet light, the inside was moist and delicious! The Kobe beef was over the top yum and the shrimp was pretty good ! I was afraid at first with no sauces but the food was tasty on its own and the rice was a good compliment! There are many drink options, and they serve water with meals. There was tartar sauce for the shrimp but it was hiding under a generous portion of chicken. Great portions! You know it's good if the locals are eating here, and they were! Super disappointed with the crazy service tonight. I placed an order outside using the kiosk for just a chicken katsu special at 5:52 PM since it was crowded inside and ended up waiting 45 minutes for that one plate. It wasn't just the waiting, it was the service and lack of communication that pushed it over. After placing my order, I entered the restaurant and waited on the side since there wasn't a place to sit and wait. The worker who was stationed at the front soon came back and asked "How can I help you?" and I mentioned that I ordered on the kiosk outside and she walked away without saying anything. Around 10 minutes in I noticed the worker mentioning to every person in line only after they tried to order that the wait would be 30 minutes for anything on the grill since they had a big order. The questions that came to mind every time a person attempted to order was "why wouldn't she tell them that they would have to wait 30 minutes from the beginning before they even tried to order so they could reevaluate if their orders needed the grill?" And "what items are not on the grill?" Every person in line would get frustrated as she wouldn't even show what items didn't need the grill.. They would say "Okay I want to order this instead" and she would keep saying "that's on the grill so you have to wait 30 minutes." Like they were supposed to know.. Who wouldn't get frustrated? Time went on and I found myself still waiting at 6:30 PM. When i heard her mentioning the chicken katsu wouldn't take long since it's not on the grill. No update, just me sitting on those high chairs obviously waiting for my order. It's worse because you don't get a buzzer for using the kiosk. I decided to ask about my order but still had to wait in line to talk to that same worker. When it was eventually my turn, I said "I wanted to check on my order" and showed her a picture of the kiosk with the order number because the kiosk didn't print a receipt for me and rudely responded with "Your order's already ready" and just handed it to me.. Excuse me? No one even bothered to tell me it was ready and she spoke to me like I was supposed to know it was ready. How long was it ready that I was wasting my time waiting there? Also, please fix the option on the kiosk when you select the chicken katsu; it should have the option or be defaulted with "White rice & mac salad" like your app. The kiosk is misleading and doesn't say you don't need to select "all rice" or the other up-charge options. So when she gave it to me and she said all rice I explained to her that I thought it was making me choose an option and she got defensive and said "No it doesn't." She eventually took it to the back to put mac salad then returned and rudely told me "Next time just don't select an option." Wow. It was not my fault that no one called me to tell me my order was ready. It was not my fault there was a flood of orders during dinner time. I like Oh My Grill but please do better with the customer service, especially with the person who's in charge at the front. I understand that it gets overwhelming when it's busy but the communication and customer service was just the worst. No one deserves to be treated like that especially when we come often. This was such a horrible experience.. Maybe won't come back for a while. read more

This was probably our third option to eat at but it was the closest restaurant to us that doesn't close at 9pm. So we decided to come here. The restaurant has a pretty spacious parking lot, which is always a plus, especially when it's busy. We came on a Monday night, and it was a little crowded but nothing too crazy. One thing I wasn't too happy about was the bathroom situation. There's no bathroom inside, but they give you a key to use a locked bathroom outside. Honestly, it was pretty old and not very clean, which was disappointing. The menu has a lot of options, but I went with the combo--garlic fish and chicken katsu curry. The portions were massive (definitely will fill you up), but the food itself didn't wow me. The curry was just okay, nothing special, and the garlic fish was really salty. It came with two cups of rice, which was nice, but the mac salad was bland and forgettable. We also tried the crab rangoons, and while they were super crispy, the dipping sauce wasn't my favourite. It just didn't go well with the rangoons, in my opinion. The service was fine. We had to wait a little bit because we were a party of six, but the staff was friendly and didn't take too long. Inside, the restaurant is bright and clean, so it's a pleasant place to eat. The food is inexpensive, and you'll definitely get full. But honestly, I'm not sure I'd come back. There are a lot of things on the menu I didn't try, so maybe there are better options, but based on my meal, I don't think I'll be rushing to return. read more

First of all the ambience is really really really nice and welcoming. I then sat down at the table and I love how their chairs have a pillow. You can use it to sit against your back. We then got served water and the cups are super cute! It has this little picture of, I don't know what it is, but it was really cute! OH! And the fork! That had a design of a happy face across the prongs. It was funny because I didn't want to eat with my fork and then ruin the design on the fork or even damage it. But I need to use that fork to feed my face. LOL I ordered cold ginger, chicken, and a bowl of shrimp curry. The lady told me to do a combo instead so I did and I ended up having my cold ginger chicken with my shrimp curry and let me tell you that sucker is a winner! The shrimp had really good flavor. I think I had five pieces of shrimp and there is a huge piece of potato and a huge piece of carrot and OH MAN... that's how I actually love my stews and my curry is with large pieces of vegetables but it has to be super soft to wear if I poked my fork in it it actually slips right through the whole entire thing and that's what happened! The only really disappointing thing for me was... They don't have Coke products! That's my only biggest issue. The fact that they don't sell Coca-Cola and I really need a Coke so bad. Hopefully they change to Coke cause everybody's switching from Pepsi to Coke now so , Coca-Cola is good guys! It's very cozy, but they did have a table set in the middle for big group and then tables and benches and chairs around the sides of the wall, which looks like it could fit about maybe 30 to 40 peoplE. They were having so much customers come in and ordering takeout. They were super busy! Obviously, this place is a really good place to eat at. A lot of people like it a lot and I can't say anything bad really just that they don't serve Coke. And I mean Coke as in the Coca-Cola product guys. They have so much choices it's WONDERFUL! They also have a menu outside the restaurant so people can view it as they walk past. They also have a little corner inside their restaurant where it's a waiting area for those who order to go. It's set up really nice and cute! I think my kids would love it if they had to wait for their order over there. My 3 year old baby would just sit and observe the decor. Oh! they do give you a 3% discount if you pay in cash. And then they have this card thing that if you spend $10 or more in cash you get a stamp and then I guess if you fill up a card, you can get a free gift or a prize or something. I totally forgot to ask for one of those stamp cards so I missed out on three stamps tonight. Yeah I know I wanted to go back in to ask for the card because it was a guy who cashed me out. And that guys name is FEI. I ended up asking him to take a photo for my yelp review and he was so nice he did it, but I think he forgot to give me the card because I probably distracted him. I was in the area and wanted to get a relatively fast dinner. The menu is a mix of local foods and barbecue. Prices are what you would expect and the inside was clean and bright. Workers were friendly and service was fast. I decided to get the BBQ mixed plate which comes with kalbi-style ribs, beef and chicken. The ribs and beef were thin cut which also means it was not tough. The taste is your typical local style teriyaki sauce that is on the sweeter side. The chicken thigh did not have a much flavor as the other two meats probably because it was thicker. The plate also came with two scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad.
