I have no clue about why there are so many bad reviews. This is a $5-per-meal (Biggie Bag) fast food joint, not Gordon Ramsay's $200-per-plate restaurant. Get over it. Where else can you get, for $5, a scrumptious double cheeseburger with fresh (never frozen) beef, delicious fries, chicken nuggets, and a fountain soda? What am I missing? I removed a star because the service is poor (slow, rude, and mistake-prone) as it always is at all fast food restaurants. We went there on Friday 6-5-26 the food was horrible. The service was slow. They put our fries on a tray while we waited for the burgers to get done. 15-20 minutes later the burgers were not on the tray. We asked what was going on they told us they were waiting for someone to cook them. When they were finally cooked the fries were ice cold. My double cheese which I asked for no pickles, had extra pickles, 1 slice of tomato and no lettuce and no onion. My wife's also had pickles which we ordered without. Her burger did have lettuce and tomato. My daughter and wife both wanted chocolate frosty's. They only had vanilla this was at 5:30 pm. Very disappointed. The tables were dirty there was no ketchup in the pump container. As we were leaving I saw a dead roach near our table. The store was not busy at the time we were there. Being that this is my closest location id like to rely on it to be a quick and easy place to stop and grab a quick bite for convenience, every time I come I'm met with anything but that. Almost every time I come to this location the food is not fresh nor made correctly .. And every single time an item is missing from my order - but I am still charged for it. Many times I have gone back through and resolved the problem but the staff does not care and does not try to give customer satisfaction at all ( they most likely don't get paid enough or so it seems because they always have an attitude or are on their phones not paying attention) I just wish there was more training or corporate walk throughs with these places ! read more

This is the best fast food joint I have ever stepped foot into. The biggie bag is the best deal to get you full. The ghost pepper ranch is always good and fries are always crispy. For my first review of 2020... I truly understand sometimes when it's almost time to go one is ready .. it was about 1230 ish in the AM and I know that closing time is 1 AM but with that being said just , wow! .. I happened to be on my way home from work myself and thought yes ! Let me stop for a bite as I had missed lunch during the night for a busy work schedule myself .. I will say the gentleman who served me at the widow exhibited exceptional service and was very courteous as I wished I had gotten his name. I have had the opportunity to visit this location a few times over the years since moving to Huntingdon Valley trying to give it a try as I actually enjoy Wendy's food when in the mood for fast food and there has been problems before. I'll chalk it up as the preparer was having a bad day or night or just didn't care about the late service that the establishment provides. My favorite motto is if I did my job like everyone else, I would have been fired along time ago .. that's not to say I wish anyone fired ! I just hope for proper continued training in food handling, preparation , presentation and service is just a friendly suggestion. The fries were burnt and stale as I received what I believed were scraps in a large order of a few fries, which I know sat forever under the warming lights and the sandwich was a mess just thrown together. Hey, it's good enough for me and it's close. I take the kids from time to time because Wendy's and Chik-Fil-A are about the only fast food I will put in our bodies. Can't beat the $1.99 kids meals on Tuesdays. It's generally kept pretty clean, and the daytime staff impresses me more than the evening staff. However, I think they've hired better newbies than the grouchy employees from a year ago. So far all my recent check-ins have been satisfactory and the blonde kid said my daughter reminded him of his sister so when she went to trade her zoo toy for a snoopy book (kid meal things), he let her have both. Every so often you need a fast food fix. I had a hankering for a burger so I stopped at Wendy's for lunch today. I ordered the Giant junior bacon cheeseburger meal. The meal came with fries, 4 piece nuggets and a soda. The burger was tasty. It's been a while since I've had one and I enjoyed the stroll down memory lane. A great place to eat if you want to realize half your order is not included in the bag after you pull away from the drive thru. Followed by a severe lack of customer service. Ordered a salad a few days ago and upon opening it found a container of ONLY lettuce not a single topping. Today I was having a horrible day,went through the drive thru to bring home something to eat for three people only to find when I got home there was only one persons order which was still missing one thing. I can't say that I will not ever stop in at a Wendy's ever again. But, this location has always gotten my order wrong. They've always would be short/leave out at least one item out of my order. The latest incident was last week when I personally checked my order and told the drive thru attendant that I was missing my drink and another order of nuggets. They looked at me as if I was crazy. (As if I could possibly eat 4 nuggets within a time frame of 15 seconds) So I told them here take a look at what's in my bag. They took a look and I thought that they actually put in another order of nuggets and gave me back the bag. Went all the way home and NOPE still was missing another order. Why didn't I complain? Because I honestly don't have the time. Why didn't I re-check my order? Because I gave them the benefit of my doubts...haha. Wendy's use to be my go to for fast food over others. Sadly, it has changed for the worst. It was damp, raining and the drive thru line was long...wrapped around the side. I decided to go inside with one elderly customer in front of me. Waited around 5 minutes for an employee to assist us. Her attitude was very unpleasant. A few more guests arrived behind me. We all viewed the employees arguing in front of customers impatiently waiting for "fast food". Complete disarray, wait time over 15 minutes inside, rude customer service and your food has been lacking. I'm am beyond disgusted. I've been to this Wendy's numerous times and on several occasions things had happened not only to me, but to my food! About 2 months ago I found what seemed to be a synthetic eyelash in my sweet tea! I called the establishment and someone rudely answered the phone. They said, and I quote this, "some b***h on the phone playing" and who ever she was talking to told her to hang up. In previous visits I had the drive through window shut in my face by the manager and the employees out of frustration and attitude when ever I tried to enlighten them that my order was wrong. After the situation with my sweet tea I said that I'd never go back to this Wendy's. Which is really inconvenient, being that I live 7 minutes away. But when I was driving with my nephew yesterday I decided to give this Wendy's one more chance because my nephew was extremely hungry. I was very skeptical at first but he was really hungry. I ordered 3 spicy chicken sandwiches, 2 large fries, and 2 sprites. When I got my food everything seemed fine. Even the young lady that handed me the food was friendly. But when I examined our food I literally found an diamond jewel on my sandwich. The ones that are usually on acrylic nails. Calling this restaurant and complaining isn't enough! I normally have good service at this Wendy's (733 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006) but today I did not! It was raining cats and dogs and I went to the drive-thru. No one in line. Over the speaker a girl said "I'll be with you in a minute." I waited 2 or 3 minutes before I said "Hello?" The girl said "I told you I will be with you in a minute!" Very snippy tone. I explained that rain was coming in my window and if I closed it I wouldn't be able to hear her. She still made me wait!! There was no one in line but me! THIS is the Wendy's location to patronize - a far cry from the one at Oxford & Cottman Yelp incorrectly classified as being in Fox Chase which is in fact in Burholme. This afternoon I used a coupon for the 2 for $10 meal deal and had no issues whatever using a coupon. I was treated courteously and promptly - unlike my experience about 5:10PM yesterday at the Oxford & Cottman location - please read that review for more details. I've been at this location on Huntingdon Pike many times and no issues. Also, the bathroom is clean and never any waiting - unlike trying to get in the bathroom at the Giant next door where 9 times out of 10 I've had to wait. i can't vouch for the drive thru since as a rule I walk in and out of the restaurant. To me it is worth investing the extra 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by Route 24 bus to get to this location due to the better service. As an added bonus, the sales tax is 2% lower and NONE of that beverage tax that Mayor Kenney and his City Council foisted on the taxpayers/visitors! I try to avoid this Wendy's at all costs. Lately, the customer service, as well as the quality of food, as deteriorated SIGNIFICANTLY in the last year. I have choked on their sweet and sour sauce (not sure if perhaps I am allergic to something in it, as I am okay with McDonald's Sweet and Sour and Chick Fil A's Polynesian Sauce). Their tenders are always like rocks. I ordered chicken nuggets which tasted fine. The sweet tea was super light, but it still tasted good. My Mom's Asiago chicken sandwich was super spicy, she never had it before so she didn't know how hot it would be. They apparently were all out of regular Coke, so we had to get cherry Coke. We also gave the guy cash and needed $3 in change and he didn't give it to us; he closed the till and just looked around, acting busy. When my Mom questioned him about the change, he goes "Yeah, I'm giving it to you." and then he pulls the cash out from under him, NOT from till. This confirms to me that he wanted to keep the $3 and was hoping my Mom wouldn't notice. I also had to repeat three times what drinks we wanted (even though they should have been written on the computer screen in front of him...) Needed a quick lunch on the run, so I stopped at this Wendy's and got an "Ultimate Grill" chicken sandwich. Went along my merry way, opened the wrapper, took a bite and spit it back out. The sandwich not only tasted horrible, but the chicken breast was pink inside. I wasn't in a position at that moment to take it back to the restaurant, so my $6 sandwich went right in the trash. The next day I tried to use the change I had gotten from Wendy's to pay for my coffee at DD and was given my $10 back because it was counterfeit. Great!
