Stopped into Wendy's today to try the $8 Biggie Bag, and it did not disappoint! The service was fast and friendly, in a clean casual environment. I ordered the double stack $8 bag. The double stack comes with two tasty hamburger patties and cheese on a delicious bun, with mustard, ketchup, pickles, and onions. The fries were fresh and hot, just what I expected. This meal deal comes with 4 chicken nuggets, I opted for honey mustard sauce. A generous sized coke completes this combo. This is a real value for $8! I usually don't review fast food chains, but this is an exception. This Wendy's location (compared to others) is horrible. I've had my online order show it was already picked up when I was en route, which was a false alarm luckily. Another time, I was told at the drive thru that chili was not available in the middle of lunch hour. How does that happen when chili is one of their staple items? And another time I was given the wrong receipt (from another customer) which didn't have the barcode needed to earn points. Given the stars this place has received, I shouldn't be surprised. Stopped on the way up to LA to fuel up at the near by Costco and feed our college kiddo. His favorite is the biggie bag so he gets a little variety (burger, chicken big and an iced tea). Perfect food for when your on the go and fuel up for a day at Universal. We went through the drive thru and the staff was great, very friendly and patient while my husband figured out what he wanted. Outside was clean and looked actually like it for a fresh coat of paint. Prices are typical, think both their biggie bags and two cookies ran about $18. The only thing I ate today was a chicken wrap from this Wendy's for lunch. I don't eat a lot of fast food, but today someone offered to buy so I took the chance. Went for the Spongebob Kollab the burger was same, pineapple shake was good but they added way too little pineapple sauce and that frosty is pretty bad. It is perhaps the worst soft serve I had in all fast places. However their fries are really good. Especially chilly cheese ones. I asked mine minus cheddar so only with cheese sauce and the chilly was really good and fries were good too read more

A lot of fast food restaurants have jumped on the spicy chicken sandwich train. Wendy's is no exception. The Spicy Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich ($7.59) was good. I didn't care for the ranch sauce and I wish it was spicier. What surprised me most was the regular chicken nuggets! They were so good! The meat was juicy and the outside was crispy! There is some kind of seasoning in the crispy batter that makes it taste so good. The spicy nuggets were a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if it was due to being not as fresh as the original flavor nuggets, or it's just not something to write home about. Either way, I'd come back to Wendy's for their original chicken nuggets - I think it tastes better than other fast food places :). read more

You know fast food restaurants and joints always take heat and heavy criticism. A lot of people are impatient nowadays especially with us living in the last days (refer to the book of Revelations). I was never one to eat fast food as much but since my wife and I have been traveling last year or two for our ministry, we have had to eat more than ever. But I must admit every time I come into this establishment, every one from the manager, to the cashier to the cook in the back always has a smile on their face. I generally do a mobile order and from the time I order to the time I drive over (less than 10 minutes) they have the food prepared and either on the counter or at the designated mobile pickup cabinet. Stopped by after grabbing gas and ordered myself and my kiddo some food. We ordered her a frosty also. When I pulled up to pay, the young woman working the window says spoon in the bag. I ask for a straw for the frosty and she gives me a puff and says, ugh, well, it's really thick so that's why we give you a spoon. I explain that we know and order frostys and my daughter likes a straw. She continued to be rude and so I say, we order these often, we're aware that it's thick. She then hands my food, not even looking at me, walks away and didn't even say thank you or anything. Like girl, why are you arguing over a straw and giving me attitude? It costs like $ .02 and it's not hurting your own pocket or life if we want a straw. This was 5/06/23 at around 330pm. Girl was 20s, brown hair with a braid, lighter skin. Fast Food Review! My wife and I were planning on grabbing some fast food at Costco before doing some shopping but the line was insanely long so we trekked across the parking lot to Wendy's. Although there were hardly any customers, the service here was frustratingly slow and the workers didn't really seem to care. It felt like it was the entire crew's first day on the job. The woman in front of us was told it would take 45 minutes to get a baked potato! I ended up ordering what's known in fast food lingo as a "combo": a Dave's single with cheese with fries and a drink. As I headed over to the freestyle drink machine I noticed that the condiment area was a disaster. Two huge ketchup dispensers were completely empty. Boxes of plastic cutlery were torn open and thrown here and there as if someone began stocking the bins but then realized they were off shift and just left for home. Trash cans were all overflowing, unable to accept any more garbage, so people were just leaving their trays of disgusting trash wherever they could find a spot. The burger? Below fast food standards. At least the lettuce and tomato were cold & fresh. The fries? Pretty good, actually, which is why I gave two stars. They didn't even need ketchup which was good because they didn't have any. I come to this location very often because it's very close to my work. And I really enjoy the deals for a burger, fries and a drink for just under $6. The best thing about this location is that the service is always on point. And the food always comes out amazing. I never have a problem with this location. I will bring my coworkers to come get lunch at this location and they never have issues either. My favorite thing about the deals that they have at Wendy's is that you can always replace your regular drink with a shake and I really enjoyed the food and the deals so much better because for six dollars I was able to get a burger, fries, nuggets, a shake. I've been a regular at Wendy's for years--usually at the Laguna Hills or RSM locations. Sorry to say, my first time here in Irvine did not live up to the quality of Wendy's food and service I've been used to. My large chili was rather thin: it had more sauce than meat and beans. Worse, I had asked for my French fries to be unsalted, but the male server ignored the instructions which he had just typed on the ticket! When I got home a few minutes later, I discovered that my fries had been scooped from the already salted--so salty that I threw them out. P.S. I would have given this review two stars if the manager had been responsible and returned my phone calls that evening and the next day. With Covid, there are plenty of days that we just don't want to cook. I'm not the biggest fan of Chik-Fil-A, but I do like chicken sandwiches. Wendy's has several options that are pretty tasty, but our most recent experiences is having me reconsider coming to this one. We usually go through the drive-through as I don't know what the in house experience is like these days. Probably the last 4 orders we've placed have been missing items or incorrect. First time, it was the straws. Ok, not a big deal since we were going to eat at home. Then, the next time we asked for no tomatoes on our sandwiches. Welp, there were tomatoes. The third time the chicken was undercooked and I got a bout of food poisoning. This last time, we were the ONLY car in the drive-thru and no one behind us. Cashier was very pleasant. We ordered a kids meal with apple bites. Came home, found our fries to be wilted and cold. And the kids meal with apple bites? Um, are french fries a fruit? Because that is what is passing for apple bites these days. I think this was the last straw for me. When there is no line for the food, there should be no excuse for mistakes that are happening on the regular. Please save yourself frustration and do not frequent this Wendy's. read more

This 5 star review is for Jo Jo! My family & I were there on 7/08/23 and we had the best experience with her. She was very friendly, quick to offer recommendations, and went above and beyond to provide us with the best customer service. She even went out of her way to make sure my son got the toy he wanted which she didn't have to but she did! The food was great, the fries were just a tad bit too salty. Jo Jo also was on top of making sure that the lobby was clean and tidy. Overall we had a great experience with Jo Jo she made our visit very pleasant it's a breathe of fresh air because most fast food chains have either rude employees or employees who seem like they don't want to be there. This is a pretty sad review because I'm this day in age you had better check your order before leaving. I went inside and ordered two meals and they forgot my main meal. I was visiting the area so I was driving back 42 miles away. As soon as I got home I called them and they told me I could go back and get an upgrade or refund. They told me they could not refund me over the phone back to my credit card. I don't see how they could not do it since they know they forgot the order. read more

I haven't had Wendy's in about 4 months and honestly they're good is not bad at all. The prices of food is a little on the high end because it's nothing like McDonald's food. If I could this place ZERO stars I would. Made a purchase on the kiosk. Which was lagging and took too much time and it double charged me quite a bit of money. And they can't even do a simple refund. And the staff was than trying to negotiate with me to buy more food. And I am waiting to get a refund which was over an hour. This review is based on customer service. Today 945am big girl working the drive thru window gets my order wrong after we go back and forth literally five times. I pull forward to complete the payment and verify that my order is correct? Lol, it's still wrong...we correct it as the girl tells me she can't hear through her headset enough, I explain to her to tell your manager to fix it, turn up the volume or go stand outside and take orders basically do whatever you need to do you can get the job done. I guess she didn't like my answer which made me wonder if she might be the manager, Lol.... But then I notice as she's taking orders from other cars she talking at the same time to another employee so she is having to repeat and repeat to the customer on the headset. These employees want $15hr to provide customer service like this??? This is a crime taking place. The message here is you should have stayed in school and not make Wendy's a career it should only be a path way to your future.
