Fast service, good preparation, and mobile order is great! This location is very busy, but they get you in and out quickly. The are located inside of Shell so I typically park in the lot to the left of the gas station to avoid the fueling crowd and that saves me time. The food has always been what you would expect from a Subway and they don't try and push up-sales. They do offer the upgrades, but they are not pushy like other locations. You would think all Subway's are the same...nope.. Well this one has such amazing customer service, I gotta tell everybody about it!!!! Yes it's in a gas station. But don't let that fool ya! I work in the area so I'm a frequent flyer here for lunch. I always get the 6" subway club, 3 s'mores cookies (THE BEST!), & a medium (even tho it's a huuuuge medium) drink. It's always less than $10!! Such a steal. Compared to the other Subway's I've been, I love how the fountain drink at this location has Coke Zero & it's a fancy touch screen. I gotta say... if you're a fan of the cookies, this one always has them baked so perfectly: never burnt, slightly undercooked, moist & chewy, always fresh. I look forward to them each time I get my lunch here. I gotta say the manager (I think he is the manager) is so lovely. He could basically turn anyone's bad day into a good one. WORD OF ADVICE, PHONE ORDER IS LIFE!!!! (Wife Review) I know using the web sometimes your order gets all jacked up. But over at this location they are pretty good about it. I usually order a tuna sandwich, toasted bread and cheese first then add the tuna. Normally there are no screw ups. But yesterday, they added cumbers and spinach in my sandwich. Which I NEVER EVER order, I am as plain as it gets. Long story short, I called over there and explained the issue, and the manager or girl on the phone was like, You should check it next time before you leave... I must of almost said "B****" swerve!!! This is a complaint from a CUSTOMER, so take notes and DO BETTER at your job!!! Lord have mercy on my soul, I about almost lost it!!! Trying to help businesses in my neighborhood during these uncertain times, since most of the restaurants are closed at the irvine Spectrum. This location is near the virtual reality store but looks like they'll be moving next door to the GNC store in a few months. As soon as i walked in I was greeted by the employee and began making my sandwich. I ordered the Tuna sandwich on wheat bread as they were out of honey oat bread and some of the works like banana peppers, bell peppers. They had limited ingredients available but still made it work. Place was clean and empty. Took my sandwich to go. Seating was available outside with a few tables with chairs available to sit if you decided to stay and eat. So I'm trying to buy a cheap lunch and... I get the $4.99 cold cut combo footlong. Simple easy, you'd think. Then I simply ask for a small drink to go with it. Then she replies with... "that'll be $8.99 total" I paused for a second, and then asked her. How much is that small soda of the sandwich is only $4.99? She couldn't reply with an actual answer to that question because she knew she was ripping me off so then she just says... It's cheaper to get the combo with chips and soda for $2.99 more. I then told her.... I don't want that and that's not what I asked you. I asked you how much is a small soda that the total came out to $4 more? She still couldn't come up with an answer knowing I caught her basically trying to steal from me. So then I said, you know what? I'll just take the sandwich. She then says... "your total is $6.99". Again... I'm like wtf??? So I asked her how a $4.99 sandwich comes out to $6.99 she stutters then mumbles something about ham sandwich and I stop her and say.... You know darn well it's a cold cut combo. So why would you now be charging me for a different sandwich? She couldn't come up with an answer again as to why she still continuously trying to steal extra money from me. I mean.... Does subway owners teach them to do this? Or do they get paid that little that they try to FORCE a tip to come to them by being sly and over charging you in the hopes that you are too busy to notice? And I swear it's not just this subway. It's all subways. Here's the true test. Go to your nearest subway to your home. Buy the same exact sandwich every single day of that week. And watch how the sandwich price fluctuates literally daily up and down. Some days taxed.... Some days tax included because it's a flat $4.99. It sucks that we have to check our food bag through drive threws. Just to make sure we get our entire order. But now with subway they basically charge whatever the hell they want. read more

We placed a 2 platter sandwich order at the last minute for our business luncheon and this Subway put the platters together in 45 minutes. I had a weird experience here the other day. I came in and a girl I'd never seen before was like "what would you like?" I'm like "a sub." I then told her the specifics, and she just stared at me for a while. After this weird stare-fest she put my sub together and put it in the toaster. While it was toasting, she JUST ****ING STARED AT ME THE WHOLE TIME.... 30 SECONDS TURNS INTO A REALLY LONG ****ING TIME WHEN A TOTAL STRANGER IS ABOUT 2 FEET AWAY FROM YOU, DIRECTLY FACING YOU, JUST BLATENTLY STARING AT YOU, PUPILS DIALATED LIKE SHES GONA KILL YOU OR SOMETHING. After the longest 30 seconds of my life, the toaster beeped. We then continued the construction of my sub. I don't know if she was trying to piss me off or what, but she kept putting the vegetables on ridiculously unevenly-I don't know if she's dyslexic or what. And I told her I wanted mustard, which I shouldn't have done. She takes the mustard and squirts like half the ****ing bottle onto my sub.... Mustard's a ****ing condiment, not the main ingredient-I don't want a mustard sandwich!! She then cut the sub before folding it, which I've never seen a subway worker do before. The bill then popped up on the screen: $9.45 and she told me okay that'll be $9.45. I gave her exact change. She then counted it for a while even though it consisted of the simplest form of $9.45; she then said $9.57? HOW SHE CAME UP WITH THIS NUMBER I DO NOT KNOW-THERE WERE NO PENNIES IN THERE... I'm like no I gave you $9.45. She then went back to studying the one quarter and 2 dimes like she'd never seen anything like them before. She then said the unthinkable. "Do I owe you any change?" I was just thinking to myself "judging by the fact that I GAVE you $9.45 and I TOLD YOU I gave you $9.45 and the TOTAL is $9.45, you should know the answer to that question!" I'm like no, though I should've been like yes, you owe me $5, wtf are you trying to pull here! She then asked me if I wanted chips or a drink with that, and I was thinking I ALREADY ****ING PAID YOU, IT"S A LITTLE LATE FOR THAT.. and she actually took my receipt and I think stuck it in her pocket (I don't know if she was trying to identity-theft me or what) so I asked for the receipt and she reluctantly gave it to me. I'm pretty used to girls being nervous around me but this has to be the weirdest Subway visit I've ever had.... And wtf is it with an alleged $5 footlong coming out to $9.45?!! Some deceptive advertising on Subway's part I'd say... Due to the completely untrained worker, I'm afraid this Subway only earns 1-star. read more

Right down the street from work...it's so convenient. Service has been good and bad...but recently they seem to have kept several of the good workers. This Subway location is attached to a gas station, so it's convenient if you're hungry and want more than just Cheeto's. In that respect, it's great. Except for the fact that the workers there are in such a dam hurry that they forget they're actually trying to serve you a sandwich. They're already wrapping up my sandwich before i have a chance to tell them i want avocado and salt & pepper on there. Nevermind them actually asking the question, "anything else?" And good luck getting a smile or any type of friendly gesture from them, either. I'm not sure what happened to customer service, but it flew out the window when Subway moved into a gas station. The prices are cheap and it's convenient, but if you want good service with a smile and great sandwiches, i suggest go across the street to Breugger's Bagels. I honestly don't get the bad reviews (which are pretty old so I don't think the same people are there anymore). Hubby and I have been here countless of times (he works 2 blocks away) and my order has been awesome every single time. I like that the veggies and bread always look and taste really fresh. I'm currently obsessed with the chicken bacon and ranch which is amazing. The place is super convenient b/c I can get the subs and buy drinks since this subway is connected to a convenience store. I come here weekends most of the time and I am always greeted warmly by both Maria and Kelly. They dont make sloppy sandwiches like most places do, where at the end my sandwhiches fell apart. Maria makes exxxxxxxxcellent sandwhiches. I always want her to make mines, to be honest. And Kelly is very consistent too. To them, they make sandwhiches is like its a craft...they're just great. I eat at a lot of Subways and this one is the fastest and the food is fresh. Even though I don't gas up here I still eat here. They made my Veggie De-lites just the way I like 'em. Whole wheat, foot-long, lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, banana peppers, cucumbers, jalapeno peppers, spinach, olives, cilantro, red onions, vinegar only, and black pepper. Attached to a gas station, it's totally fuel on the go. I usually run through here quickly if I need to get back to work. Roast Beef, mustard-mayo-lettuce-tomato is my usual order, and it serves me well. Still, I wonder whether they actually put meat on my sandwich. Stopped by twice for the past couple of weeks, close to my work, first time had light veggie and second time the patty veggie. Used coupon to get foot long for the price of 6 incher with an ice tea. Really clean and fast service. Much appreciate Juan N the server who helped me with identifying calorie intakes and was very helpful in getting the subway made to my liking. Do not let Nora, I repeat do not let Nora (the older lady) make your sandwiches. Usually when I go to Subway they toast my bread and cheese, Nora toasted my tuna as well!!! I ask her politely if she normally toast the tuna she said that's how some customers prefer it, not from what I've seen. She was nice enough to make another sandwich for me. At this time she starts the toaster to toast the cheese on my bread and then proceed to grab a trashcan, moved it to another side of the room and reach for my sandwich to continue to make!!!! I Couldn't believe what I've seen. Who in their right mind does something like that? Someone who is nasty at home and is also nasty at work. I had to ask her to change her gloves... I should not have had to ask her that. The nerve!!!! I came here on a Saturday morning and was right away greeted by a young lady named Jasmin. Not only was she super friendly but very fast! I was very surprised on how fast she got my sandwich done. I got a tuna sandwich and really enjoyed it, she worked fast but did a great job making my sandwich just the way I like it. She also kept a conversation going the whole time which is always a plus for me, I hate going to places where workers make things awkward, but she was great!
