Picked up a grilled chicken sandwich with fries yesterday at La Porte Wendy's. Delicious. I was amazed at how fast my food was delivered to the window and the girl at the window was very sweet. I love going to Wendy's the most because of the employees. They have always been very nice and very generous. The food has always been second to none, a great competition for Culver's. Ordered a single cheeseburger with no ketchup, double cheeseburger with no onion, new mozzarella chicken grilled, and 1 small and 1 medium vanilla frosties as they were out of every other flavor including the new peppermint and a large fry. I received a single cheeseburger with ketchup, a double cheeseburger with onion, mozzarella chicken fried, the vanilla frosties with no spoons and no fries. Worst place ever. My husband ordered the pecan chicken salad for me they didn't have pecans so he called and let me know so I said get the Cobb Salad. Worst salad ever! Gave me Caesar dressing was supposed to be ranch, didn't have the crispy fried onions to go on it and the lettuce and tomatoes were limp lime the salad had been setting there forever. We normally don't eat at Wendy's as we fell they fall short compared to McD &.BUrger King. This visit didn't change my mind. We stopped in because my wife wanted chile and I wanted to try their pretzel roll with a burger. I have to admit the chile was good but the pretzel roll only looked like a pretzel but was just like a regular roll. And it was served ice cold, like just out of the ice box. If you like having your food thrown in a bag by moody employees and having your order wrong, then this place is for you. Sometimes I like to change up from my typical fine to casual dining and do fast food. I strongly recommend against coming here. Absolutely the worst Wendy's probably in the region. I've tried to give them a chance to redeem themselves by coming back every 6-8 mos in hope that the owner would hire a friendlier staff. Unfortunately, I think my business here must end.
