I throughly enjoyed my meal at the Muscatine Wendys! Probably one of the best wendys I've been at! Such a clean place and the staff was wonderful! Definitely one of the best Wendy's I've been to! I've been to many around the US but this one takes the cake!! Such a wonderful place to eat at, 11/10 would recommend. I've been a food critic for a 20 years of my life. Critiquing many places and many many restaurants and fast food restaurants. But Muscatine has the best food chains and restaurants I've been to! The environments are wonderful and give that homey feel you don't get at other places. Loved how kind the staff was. This wendys was so much better than in Idaho, Wyoming, and California. Truly remarkable place. Will be eating here again. And will be visiting Muscatine a lot more on my trips to places! read more

Nuggets are always cold. The fries are always hairy at this point.. they just throw old ones back in the fryer and don't care. They will send you with the wrong items and not care if they're busy. If you eat here just be prepared for something because it's always something read more

they are really slow getting orders together standing in back talking and the sink in the women's restroom is broken no way to wash your hands. Employees clothes are dirty and very unkept making food with a beer and no net. read more

Went through the drive through 2 nights in a row, and messed up our order both times. First night they were out of almost everything we tried ordering, and food tasted like it came straight from the refrigerator. Tonight we went through and ordered food expecting to have a better experience, but definitely was not. We got charged for food we didn't even order and received the wrong food. Tried telling them the issue and all they wanted to do was argue. Absolutely the worst fast food restaurant in Muscatine. read more

When I was 4 I lived on the top floor of my house while everyone's respective rooms were on the first. It was cool since I had my room and a large playroom. But at night I'd get scared being so isolated and especially because I had a huge red headed doll my mother propped on a chair facing my bed that looked exactly like Wendy. I would try to fall asleep while the dead glass eyes would stare at me and it had a frozen grin. I imagined she would come alive and wreck havoc. Sounds like the premise of a Goosebumps novel or episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" so that was my first memory of Wendy's. In HS I ate there time to time and enjoyed their Frosty and baked potatoes but who care's today's the thing. We bopped over on a whim to grab something to go. We ordered: Chili Dollar burger Grilled Chicken sandwich Fries The bacon cheddar burger on a Pretzel Bun Everyone found everything satisfactory. I ate the pretzel cheddar bacon burger. The meat quality was lacking and it wasn't hot. The cheese was like a cheese sauce that was indistinguishable from the honey mustard dressing they put on with, however, the bacon was a good crispness and taste. The tomato slices and cut onion slices were generous and fresh. They used baby greens rather than cheapa$$ iceberg. The pretzel bun was good and flavorful, but a touch stale. The fries I had a dozen of I liked, they had the skins on and were perky. The staff was nice. We were sated. They were no possessed gingers. read more

Never eating there again. Wife and I went through the drive thru and placed an order. After ordering, drove to the drive thru to pay and get our order. All I had was a $50 bill. The employee at the window told us to wait a minute. She went and got another employee, possibly the manager or assistant manager. They rudely told us that they don't accept bills over $20, and that there was a sign posted at the drive thru speaker. I informed her that there was no sign stating they don't accept bills over $20. She basically called us liars and I told her I would go back and take pictures to prove there was no such sign. She was back there and surprise! There was no sign! My food was really good, but when I asked for only cheese I got no cheese and when the guy took it back he had an attitude about it and said "well it said no cheese" and got all upset. Today I ordered a meal. The food was alright but when I got home I noticed they only filled my large drink up half way.

Went through the drive thru around 10:39. The fries I got were burnt. Not crispy but dark brown/black burnt. I couldn't go back because I had to be at work. So disappointed. read more

Stopped at Wendy's today about 3:30pm. I got a Apple pecan salad and received NO pecans. My husband didn't get a straw for his pop. His cheeseburger was just ok. It's sad when these workers expect $10/hr and can't even do their job. read more

I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, one of the worst looking hamburgers I have ever seen. Lettuce, if you want to call it that was wilted, look like it had been soaked in hot water, onion was so tiny and thin as a toothpick. When I unwrapped the paper the bun was smashed so badly that the juice from the hamburger was soaking through the bun, the hamburger meat was barely even sitting on the bun. Also this was a medium order, so I was expecting a whole box of fries, what I received was a half a box of fries, worst experience I've ever had at Wendy's on Park Avenue in Muscatine Iowa. If I ever go back I plan to open my meal right on the counter in front of them, if it's unsatisfactory they will get it back. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more
