The kitchen, which I watched while waiting for most of my 8 minutes. Not much going on. Lots of beeping.

I was extremely disappointed with this Wendy's. No baked potatoes during the busy dinner hours. The condiments counter was a mess. The queue was disorganized. And even once I placed my order, it was 8 minutes until it was ready to go. Avoid.

Do not go here unless you want to wait 20 minutes for your food. No clue why/how it takes so long at a "fast food" place.

Would give this a Wendy's zero stars if possible. They never can get an order correct, and they aren't friendly.

We've been to this store a handful of times, and it gets the job done. It's not the best Chipotle I've ever been to, but it's also not the worst. You can tell that the team here works hard, and the folks on the line are mostly friendly. Although this location has a Chipotlane, I gave up on ordering through the app a long time ago. No matter what location we chose, there was always something wrong with our order. Now I make it a point to go in and specify our exact order ... even if that means waiting in a long line. On our most recent visit, I ordered two bowls and a bag of chips. Our bowls were decently made, and the toppings tasted fresh. My bag of chips, however, was mostly crumbs, and tasted stale. I ended up throwing them out. I'd stop by this location again in a pinch, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

This is not how things generally work there, I order a pretty simple egg and cheese biscuit or two when I do go here and the longest I've been at the window was 20 seconds. This day was different. I was there about three minutes, when the order came there was a burnt to a crisp hashbrown on top, assumed this was my order, left... it wasn't my order. I learned it wasn't my order about 20 minutes later when starving I sat down to eat... and couldn't... because the hashbrown was charcoal, and the rest was not something I would even consider eating. Remembering the insane line I decided to just pop McDonalds corp a note with the details and ask for a refund. Corp said they'd forward it, and a few days later I got a response indicated that local had heard me, but the only remedy would be more training for the team. Errr... fine and all, but this was just one screw up and I just wanted a refund without having to wade through that traffic snarl that McDonalds creates every morning. Hell, even a coupon would be fine. But no

I am absolutely sure that in the hour my friend and I were waiting, six other other customers were seated ahead of us. Standing for an hour is okay but only if they're actually taking the customers in order. But then we were seated and with the small menu, I was able to order. A few minutes later, Big Al shouts, "Does anyone want a cinnamon bun?" and I have never been closer to taking a walk from my keto diet. But I was good and only drooled a little watching the couple sitting next to us split theirs. It smelled so good. Brunch arrived and we've now been at Big Al's for 90 minutes. I had selected the day's special, the FOUR egg steak omelet which I had with peppers and onions *filled* the plate. Sloppy and tasty and loaded with probably half a pound of sliced steak. I only took one small bit of my biscuit - fluffy and light but heavy and dense. Delicious. My friend had a concoction that I can only call The Coronary Plate: Fried eggs, fried potatoes, fried chicken. Half of a fried chicken that looked better than anything I've ever seen at KFC or Popeye's or my own beloved Bojangles. Crispy, slightly burned but a light batter and a juicy center. Yeah, get that. Big Al's is an anachronism. The food is cooked by hand, it's delicious and it stands halfway down the block of a completely residential neighborhood. You'll be driving the last couple of blocks and wondering, what am I getting in to? Trust me, they're probably open. Pro tip: Try the gravy. It's spicy! Turnover is quick, so even when they are at capacity, and the waiting list looks daunting, you should still put your name down. We were told the chalkboard has the specials, and shrimp and grits are available on the weekends. I loved my shrimps and grits. The grits were so hearty and buttery, and the shrimp had a good amount of spice. We also got the sweet potato chorizo hash, which had the perfect amount of slight heat and special spice blend. (The spices looked red, but I don't know what they were other than paprika??) Both dishes came with biscuits, generously buttered. We were told the biscuits and gravy were special, because the chef does a brown gravy instead of the white gravy. We felt like we had enough food, but if I am ever back in town, I'd try this dish. You'll want to walk off this meal, but don't miss it if you're in Nashville!

The wait for ordering was not long which is a plus. However I feel their ordering system could be a little more streamlined, there are a lot of clicks for each item. I am used to SS in Chicago and it's the same there too. I ordered nothing crazy, a cheeseburger with added pickles and some fries, and an Arnold Palmer (50/50 lemonade and tea). We waited at our table and eventually got the text our food was ready but it took over 10 minutes after that to come out. At one point they tried to bring us someone else's food and they seemed very confused about it when we said that wasn't my order. I confirmed before we left that we didn't make a mistake while ordering so it wasn't something we did. When the food did come out it had clearly been sitting for some time. The bun had not been fully cut in half and this was not even visible inside the wrapping. It was crumpled up in a cold soggy mess at the bottom of the wrapping and was inedible. I essentially ate a naked burger. The cheese had solidified and was not at all melted showing how long the food was sitting. The fries were thankfully not cold but lukewarm at best. And to top it off my drink was incorrect, it tasted and looked like strawberry lemonade. I ended up throwing much of the meal in the trash. The person delivering the food should have noticed this was not up to par and sent it back. The cleanliness was also not up to the standard I expect at SS but considering their location and time of day I would give them a pass. Would not recommend coming here after hours.

The fries were hot and crispy and the shake was thick and really good. Service was quick and the place was clean, which I always notice. The only reason I'd give it four stars instead of five is the price. It's a little higher than most fast food spots, but the quality is definitely better. Overall it's a good stop when you want something quick that still tastes like real food. I'd come back.

Daddy's Dogs delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a late-night Nashville hot dog stand. The dogs are big, have a satisfying snap when you bite into them, and look good enough that you'll be tempted to take a picture before eating them. We both went with the New York Dog: mustard and sauerkraut. Simple. Classic. Delicious. And let's be honest, when it's pushing 2:00 AM, your dining options become a lot more limited. The fact that Daddy's Dogs is there serving hot food when much of the city has called it a night earns points all by itself. Now for the plot twist. By the time we got back to our hotel, both of us were dealing with stomachaches. Coincidence? Maybe. Bad luck? Possibly. The hot dogs tasted great going down, so I'm not ready to convict anyone based on one experience. Still, I can't completely ignore it either. So here's where I landed: Good food. Convenient location. Excellent late-night option. Questionable ending to the evening. Three stars. Because while the dogs were good, my stomach and I are still debating the final score.
