Terrible experience at this location this evening. We pulled up to the drive thru and placed an order around 6:35/6:40pm. Pulled up to the window, payed, and was handed two bags. The woman at the window realized it wasn't the correct order and stopped us. She asked what I purchased and I repeated the order. They asked if we could pull up and wait. This seemed to be fine. Well after at least 10-15 cars passed us, our order was brought out to our car at 7:20pm. Yes, we waited 40 minutes for them to get our order together. And this was after I stepped out twice, and asked the woman working at the drive thru window, "How much longer should it take?" At about both 15 and 30 minutes. Each time it was, "We're getting it ready." The bags were a mess once we received them and my wife took a quick look. Seemed like everything was there. Once home... NOPE! We were actually missing complete items, were short nuggets in the order, and some of the items weren't made as requested (I asked for no mayo on a sandwich. Big picture, that's minimal and I don't really care, but it's compounding the overall problem here.) So a lost order, a 40 minute wait in the drive thru, and missing items. I'm trying to contact customer service and I really hope Wendy's does something to rectify this. I am not even legitimately sure of the value of reviewing national fast food chains. Regional restaurants, sure. The big name chains, not so much. In general, unless something exceptional happens or it's Chik-filA, the reviews are 3 stars or under. The Wendy's on Ridge is no different. Here is the order I placed on 10/08/19: Wendys 4 for $4 (Comes with nuggets, fries and drink)   Double Stack *Alt/Special request: everything on it (all veggies and condiments on the sandwich), honey mustard dressing for the nuggets, no ice in the drink, and a sugar cookie. Size Large. Quoted Total: ~ 8.50 Around 2pm there was a bit of a line but it moved quickly. A dump truck rumbling and beeping in the lot made communicating at the order screen somewhat difficult but not impossible. I placed the above order, agreed to upsize the fries when asked, and after a short but not completely unreasonable wait made it to the window. I've noticed at this location that they hand you your cup and tell you the price of your meal at the same time. Not sure if thats in the handbook as a way to move the line faster but I find that extending my card or cash and trying to grab the cup causing a split second of weirdness. A showdown between me and the cashier trying to see which order the events happen in. *shrug* I've never fumbled the cup or anything but I thought it was noteworthy. My drink also had ice in it. I hate fast food ice because in addition to being gross conceptually, and notoriously dirty, its only purpose is to take up space in your cup so you get less actual drink. The machines themselves are refrigerated so your drink is cold regardless and then you'll have more of it. This is one thing I typically challenge and didn't. See my next point. They NEVER give receipts. When I asked for one I was told that "the printer is broken." I'm sure there's a subreddit out there dedicated to the conspiracy behind this, lol. I mention this because in the age of electronic payments I don't like not having evidence of my purchases, more specifically the order details and their prices. What if they get the order wrong and I have to contest it, what if I'm double charged due to cashier error? How do I refer to the transaction, cashier, store number etc? I passed the bag into my passenger seat and and like a true American I reached over into the bag to begin eating the fries. My hand touched a nugget first so I ate the little guy. I reached back again for a fry and met another nugget. When I pulled into the parking lot at my next stop I looked inside the bag. No fries. Two nuggets. The sauce they gave me was also not honey mustard; It was a weird faux ChikFilA sauce where they mix all the sauce flavors together. For reasons unknown, I don't always put up a stink about inaccurate food orders. In this case, perhaps because I was so close, I decided to spin the block. I drove back up to the order screen and told them what happened. She hadnt truly let me finish my statement before telling me to pull up to the window. When she handed me the bag I was likely so excited about the ease the transaction (wasn't asked for a receipt, likely because they dont give them). Guess what? The large fry I should have received at my first attempt was literally a small fry in a large container (see pics). I cant help but think she must have recalled my voice or order, or had known that my bag was wrong previously because why give me the large container? Did you run out of small size containers? How are you going to sell nuggets for the rest of the day? I guess it isnt worth the investigation but I really really dont like giving my money to junk food drug kingpins with mediocre service pushing red magic. Our collective addictions to sugar and salt guarantee that even with such piss poor reviews this place will remain in business, likely with no changes to their subpar performance. I haven't been to Wendy's for some time because every time I got into that area, it was still closed. Thought I'd treat myself today when I spotted customers leaving the store. I thought great I'm very hungry and a burger and fries would be perfect. Well, I watched as fresh fries were put into cups and fresh burger were made with care for the drive through so again I thought I'm going to have a good hot meal. Wrong!! My fries came from the old cold batch that had been sitting God knows how long. My burger was ice cold very sloppy and soggy and disgusting. I'm done with Wendy's. Specifically came to review the new Frostyccino, but since this location never provides a receipt, I don't know how to tell corporate their new drink stinks. It's like an unsweetened coldish coffee. I expected a root beer float type idea with cold coffee, but the ice was mostly melted, there wasn't a taste of chocolate or even sugar. Glad I got it for only a dollar with purchase. This location had most of their staff wearing masks properly today when I went through the drive through, although the person at the window had it pulled under her nose. I could also see the plastic guards inside at each checkout. Line for the window was busy but moved appropriately, and aside from the above mentioned drink, the food was all as expected. I ordered a 2 for $5. Girl at the window said my total was $10 and some change. I asked if it is 2 for 5. Her response,"Yea, but I didn't ring you up." After going back and forth, she shouted to another staff member, "Can you put 2 for 5?" Then she said to me $5 and some change. I gave her $6. She then said, "We don't got change." I love Wendy's burgers and I really try to cut this location some slack, but cmon, how hard is it to make the right burger. I've ordered 3 (three) bacon burgers from this location and not ONCE have they put bacon on it. I'm not even mad, I'm just incredibly baffled at how difficult the task seems of reading "bacon" off a screen and putting it on a burger. Crazy. This is the first and only Wendy's location that I've been to that has a patio for you to sit outside to eat your food. We got there at lunch time and there was one other lady seated in the dining area. The cashier walked in front of us to take our order. She was cleaning the dining room area. I told her that we were dining in and she packed our food in a bag. The nuggets were cold and looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The cheeseburger was cold and the bread was pressed down as if someone had sat on it and not fresh. This was my first time eating at this location. I must say I was quite disappointed at the service and the food. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. read more

We just left this Wendy's. It's a Saturday 230pm. The person taking the order had an exasperated tone. It was not welcoming. It made me feel apprehensive to order anything at all, but we were hungry. I order a specific two burgers for $5 for my son. Again, the process was painful. We arrive at the window the cashier was sweet . We received most of our order. However, we are waiting for the frosty. The person who had her back to us turns with now more attitude. She turns only her head to asked " are you waiting for something... " I said. our frosty". It was sitting right next to her. She hands it to my like here you are and go away. I push this a little and I asked..... "Um, could i have a straw?" We opened the two burgers to find that they did not read or care to read the order. The burgers were fully loaded with everything. I hope this is does not happen to a kid who has an allergy . This is probably the worst Wendy's I've ever gone to. They get the orders wrong 80% of the time. It is so close to where I live, I keep giving it another chance. This am I went for breakfast at 8:20am and they had no coffee. This is the 5th time and last time for me. This has never happened at McDonalds for me. How can you always run out of coffee? I've had bad experiences at this Ridge Avenue store (incomplete orders, cold food, rude staff, etc.) before but I went there this morning anyway to get two free small size smoothies through a promotional of the Philadelphia 76ers NBA basketball team. What could this Wendy's screw up with such a simple order! I had previously taken advantage of this same 76ers promotional at another Wendy's in Plymouth Township and I was pleased. But this Wendy's gave me two tiny 2 or 3 oz. cups of smoothie. I was shocked. The crew in this store are lazy and slow and not very friendly. I attempted to go here on the 23rd of April at 7:50 pm. As 8m walking up to the entrance someone inside locked the door so I couldn't get in at the time there was a bunch of people in the dining room along with 3 or 4 children, all under the age of 10. So apparently the guy who locked me out was an employee, he said they were just closed. I was kind of pissed, he locked the doors early just so I couldn't get in. So I walked to the other side of the building so I could get a picture of the store number. Upon doing so about 7 employees came out to confront me in a very aggressive manor. They said I was on camera, I said good so are they and they should learn something about being on camera. Now they are calling me racist and I should watch my back. Very unprofessional and ignorant. Been here twice now, and both times have been great. Fresh, quick, and tasty. Wendy's 4 for 4s are my life, and they should be yours too! Pick and choose between so many amazing options, I highly recommend it! As for the restaurant, it's one of those fancy new and modern fast food places so there's a fire place and nice tables to sit at. There's even outdoor seating! I watched this location go up in about four months and I waited eagerly for it open. I now live within a mile of a Wendy's and I am very happy. JJ and I drove up to the drive-through after hitting the gym and grabbed some fries, a salad, some chili, and a spicy chicken sandwich. Typical Wendy's fare--the chili is exactly as I remember it from my childhood, but the fries have made a switch to a variety that looks handcut instead of frozen. Yummy food. The only problem was that the fries were cold when we got back to the house, which is not great, because we only live three minutes away. Regardless, we were in and out of the line in less than five minutes, even though there were two cars ahead of us. This was a major plus. A small drawback was that we weren't asked if we wanted any condiments, nor were we given any. Perhaps this is the way that fast food is now, but I miss the little ketchup packets. Finally, although I haven't made it inside yet, the interior looks all shiny and new--there are even some nice umbrellas for the outside tables. read more

So I decided to grab Wendy's on a Wednesday nite after work, I ordered the 2 for 5 deal with a spicy nugget and spicy chicken sandwich I also ordered a No 4 combo which is a big bacon classic large and an order of bacon jalapeño fries as well. The line wasn't too bad, the young lady that took my order wasn't pleasant/nice nor was she rude, I get it it's Wendy's you have lump them in w/McDonald's customer service/pleasantries go out the window as soon as step foot in the building or drive thru. I'd like to say my total was close to 20 dollars, I wasn't given a receipt and the reason for that is because they don't want you to go on-line and review the restaurant. I say all that to say this, this the 5th and last time won't deal with out being given a receipt ( scammer, double charge, or just plain old discrepancy with order such as this) I live about 10 mins away from this location so with a glance over the 3 bags I was given it appeared to be correct. Once I got home you already know where I'm headed with this. The 2 for 5 was incorrect and under counsel as wel. The chicken sandwich which was supposed to be spicy was a normal chicken patty without lettuce, the nuggets I was only given 6 it's a shame that I had too count but I did. The supposed big bacon classic combo was incorrect as well. People please understand the difference between the Jr bacon cheeseburger patty and a Dave's patty for a regular patty, I was a given a Jr bacon patty with no bacon or lettuce my jalapeño had little to cheese or no and I mean no jalapeno. There's no way to verify anything foodwise in the drive-thru. I wasn't able to verify a thing until I got home. Once I got home I threw the food away after realizing my order wasn't correct. Now I do understand that at these times there's a shortage as far as beef, change etc due to this Covid-19 ordeal but Please post signage or let customers know what's available versus what's not. I will google the location to find out the owner/general /district/regional manager are and let them know. Because this is just unacceptable these locations are fully aware of what the inventory is or isn't. Embarrassing point, blank period. If you read this review think twice before ordering anything from this location the overall staff isn't too be trusted. Please, please find a way to incorporate a kiosk to minimize the attitude and negativity of the workers ( i worked in fast food restaurants throughout HS and college with playing football and balancing scholastics you always have a choice gig/job/career wise) also to maximize the accuracy of the order, this staff clearly give little too no F's about any of the above. read more

The person who took our order didn't seem to know what she was doing, and the other staff wasn't much better. Today I stopped by and went inside to order to take out. The order was supposed to include a child's meal. When we stopped shortly afterwards to eat, we discovered it was a regular double cheeseburger and fries. The only quality I look for in a fast food restaurant is convenience and speed. This Wendy's is extremely slow (took 10 and 12 minutes on my 2 visits to get a small meal). Both times it seemed like 2-3 slow and lazy employees were standing around doing nothing with only 1 employee making the sandwiches. Management needs to do better. read more
