Beyond the lack of any welcoming greeting or professional demeanor from your staff, the service I received was unacceptable. When I requested two large cups of ice--a simple accommodation for my son's needs--I was told by the employee that the manager had prohibited it, offering no explanation. Furthermore, when the employee brought my food out, she proceeded to toss the bags into my vehicle. The stark contrast between the service I have historically received at the Ardmore location--where staff were consistently professional and welcoming--and the treatment I encountered at your store today is jarring. Food was what it was. I didn't even finish it. Service. Depressing. Uninviting. I was waiting for car repair across at Firestone so i ordered breakfast planning to wait in mcdonalds. No sooner had i pulled out my laptop when the older cleaning man started pacing back and forth around me. Then he dropped a wet floor sign right next to me. Then he swept just around my table. Then the manager came and told me i had only 30 minutes. There was another woman there when i arrived. They said nothing to her. I turned off my computer and filed a complaint. Before i was finished she told me my time was up. I told her i needed just a few more minutes to finish my complaint. She said she didnt know why because the sign was right there. I had another horrible experience at 5020 City Avenue location. I don't know why I returned after the last bad experience. The customer service is horrible. Some of the team leaders do not deserve to have a management position until they receive more training on how to interact with all types of customers. Bad experience #1, they refused to give me my pennies change. When I demanded to have all my change, they reluctantly returned all my change but with much opposition and controversy. My #2 bad experience happened today when I asked for no pickles on both double cheeseburgers ordered. I received it rather quickly, so I believe that they simply pulled the pickles off the sandwich instead of making two new sandwiches. The girl at the window didn't deny it when I said to her that I believe that's what happened. I then told her I did not want those sandwiches but give me two fresh sandwiches. She told me to pull my car over because they had other customers. So I did, and then went inside. At this point, I wasn't feeling like a valued customer and voiced that the customer service was horrible. A few other words were exchanged, ending with the team leader saying "don't come back." That was the last straw for me. I requested all my money back. A nice team leader came over and tried to help. She refunded my money and still gave me the two sandwiches, which were for my mom. I had a mobile order for breakfast, went to pick it up through the drive through, they told me to park in spot #2 and had me wait 20 minutes for my food I had to go inside, they said they "couldn't find me" and instead of looking they just took the food back inside. I ordered my food and unfortunately they had ran out of larger bags, the younger crewmembers placed it in the wrong bag:/ and the manager spoke with them about it and provided a REFUND and offered the food to be REMADE!. He was amazing!, this is unheard of in this decade. They cared for me!, I am so grateful for the positive energy that the manager gave me and the young worker provided my condiments as many as I wanted without trouble,... Mal was patient and kind as sometimes it seems the world is such a hurry, he was patient with me and fulfilled all of my wishes for my experience at McDonald's today I am grateful and thankful! Ordered breakfast on the mobile app, got there at 6:30 am (breakfast starts @4:30am), pulled up to the drive through monitor and ended up waiting.... after waiting 5 minutes and repeatedly asking if anyone was there, an employee answers rudely "the store is closed". AT 6:30 ON A MONDAY??? FOR A 24/7 MCDONALDS??? I could clearly see at least two employees through the drive through window. The employee refused to give me an explanation and said they couldn't process my mobile order since they were closed - in the most rude and infuriating encounter to date. Sometime between 3-4:30 PM Jan 22, 2022, I went to McDonald's at 5020 City Ave and ordered a medium fish meal and six-piece Chicken McNuggets Happy Meal through the kiosk, while witnessing a very nasty female manager yelling and berating a male worker while the restaurant was full of customers. Everyone just stood there watching, mouths open, including me and the other McDonald's workers. I felt so embarrassed for the workers having to deal with an alleged people manager, who was really a tyrant! My kiosk total $15+, which I paid, although the kiosk never produced a receipt so I ordered the same meals again at the register. The total then was $13+. I inquired about the discrepancy and asked for the difference. The same ill-tempered manager tells me to calm down, while her voice had risen several octaves, insisting that she was not authorized to give me a refund and that the kiosk was problematic. On today, 01/24/2021, I went to order fries and an apple pie for my niece at the register (not the kiosk). This same manager tells me that I "had no choice," and that I had to order at the kiosk. I lifted my mask a little so that she could see I was the same person from the kiosk incident two days ago. This woman insisted that I could not order at the register. I walked out. I will never go to McDonald's again. The owner's need to do better in their hiring because such behavior in people who have power over others' work lives and clueless about customer service is unacceptable. Tried to order from the drive thru at around 2 in the morning after a night out. There was clearly a McDonald's employee inside working, but she refused to answer after I repeatedly called out "hello" in the speaker, trying to place my order. After a while, multiple cars started piling up in the drive thru as we sat there confused on why this 24 hour McDonald's wasn't providing drive thru service. We drove around a couple times, calling out "hello" into the speaker for placing orders in case the worker hadn't heard us the first time. Eventually, an Uber drive who was in line for the drive thru banged on the order pick-up window until the worker opened the window. The Uber driver was there to pick up her orders and this worker did not care! Instead, she proceeded to yell really aggressively about how they were closed because they were switching from dinner to breakfast (at 2 in the morning? Yeah, ok). I tried to ask her why they're closed when it's a 24 hour McDonald's only to get more aggressive yelling as a response. Aborted mission and went home.
