I've never walked in and then walked right out. This Wendy's is a mess. Dirty tables and dirty floor. A queue of customers waiting for food looking impatient. Some sort of "We're out of that" at the register. I understand minimum wage and the Great Resignation so it's hard to get good employees. This was dismal. I was craving a baked potato. Went thru the drive thru. The order taker was fast and had a good personality. I asked for bacon cheese potato with butter and sour cream on the side salt and pepper too. The cashier was so friendly and his coworkers were hustling all around. Great price,food great, made and tasting fresh! Parking lot is good size , if drive thru line is long it's short, close to the road. I placed a mobile order here to pick up. Upon trying to pick it up, I found that BOTH of their doors were locked. The hours posted say that they are open until 11. So, I tried to call the store to just see if they could unlock the doors so I could grab my order. They refused to unlock the doors and made us come through the drive thru, which had a line wrapped around the building when we first got here. Now, as we wait through this line, our food is getting cold and our frostys melt. Not at all happy. Update: not even 30 seconds after receiving our order, they gave us the completely wrong order. So we waited 10 minutes in line for nothing. We are now back in the 6 car wait line. This is ridiculous, the staff here seriously sucks and is rude asf. Update #2: yes, there is more! We finally got right near the speaker, but we heard a lady in front of us trying to pick up her Mobile order and the employee was SO rude. He was absolutely horrible to her. I felt so bad. This place is god awful. We left the line because of how awful the guy was being and saying how he can't give her the order because they were closed. read more

This is for the mobile app only. Twice I've had money that was loaded onto the app used by mystery people. It took almost 6 months to correct the 1st theft and they could only reimburse it to the app, could not send me a gift card or money. Then the balance of that was just taken! Just off I-87 in Plattsburgh, NY, this Wendy's has an added bonus -- a large, flat screen TV in the middle of the dining area! Stopping for a quick lunch of Wendy's gluten free chili, I was able to enjoy a few minutes of the 2012 US Open Golf Championship. The restroom is clean, but there is only one toilet, so you have to be patient and wait, especially during the lunch rush. read more

I see that other reviewers have not had a great experience at this location, but this is my go to stop for an inexpensive snack or a quick dinner while either coming from on going to Montreal. The line moves quickly and the employees are friendly and my food has always been on par with other Wendy's locations. I would like to point out a pro tip that I learned about during my most recent visit to this location, which is that they accept most competitors coupons for BOGO, buy X, get a free Y, and similar other deals. As long as they can match up what the competitor's deal is with something on their menu, you're in. Wendy's has all but killed their dollar menu (most everything is now $1.29 and up), so taking advantage of a BOGO sandwich or free fries is a great way to get these prices back into deal zone territory. Oh yes, and fellow mayonnaise maligners, be aware that Wendy's loves to slosh that awful tangy goo on many of their sandwiches, so make sure you order yours uncontaminated. read more

Had the worst experience I have ever had this morning at Wendy's drivethru. Me and my husband pulled up to order a #7meal the bacanonator breakfast sandwich and he ordered the number 1. We pulled up to the window and they said please park your car we're waiting on potatoes so we parked our car and the person behind us they also said the same thing but they could continue to wait in drivethru. Well the person in drivethru recieved their order and we were continue on waiting so someone to come out were our order and no one came so I asked my husband to go inside and get it. He came out with our food and I checked before we left and lone and behold I recieved the wrong sandwich so I went inside with my receipt and told them I didn't get the right sandwich and if I could get another one made and I didn't mind waiting they told me that they did make that sandwich for me and did give it to my husband and that we do have it and I told them I never got it!! Arguing with me about it and being really nasty and rude so I brought the three bags in and demanded a refund and also spoke to their manager Eric on staff and I even said I didnt mind waiting if he wanted to go over the camera footage and he refunded me and told it was unnecessary so Thankyou Eric for believing the customer and being very polite and kind to me, but as far your other employees completely unecassary behavior from them and also didn't appreciate them accusing me of something I got when I didn't get it. No matter what I order, or when - I always seem to get cold fries! I try to not order them but on occasion I'll sneak one of the kids and yuck! I hear all sandwiches are made fresh but they too are at best, room temperature. It's still better than McDonalds but they really need to step up they're game if they're going to be 1 of the 2 late night fast food joints around. This place is notorious for treating their employees like garbage. Nothing is a bigger turn off in a business than seeing the management treat their help so poorly. Don't reprimand employees for minor mistakes loudly infront of customers and coworkers. Do it in private in a calm constructive manner. Morale here is low. They're always hiring because people are constantly quitting. As far as the building itself goes. How you choose to maintain appearances says a lot. Broken tiles and trim pieces held on with duct tape says you don't care. Food is ok. Meat is often dried out and old. Fries not always fresh. Times are always slow it seems. They also run out of things a lot. Update: it has also been brought to public attention recently that a woman with a service dog was refused service here and told to leave. Yes, that is against the law. And the franchise owner, who lives in Connecticut and was not there at the time, says he is sure that is not how it happened. Recently up until this point in time I had no problems with Wendy's off of Route I-87 at 397 State Route 3 Plattsburgh, NY but now I will never eat here again. On April 3rd, 2020 I decided to eat here and when I parked I began to eat to find what I thought was one hair in my burger but to my surprise when I took the top bun off there was multiple hairs like someone put them there on purpose. I was not rude when I ordered my food but even if someone was there was no excuse for this behavior. I went to the door and spoke to the manager and she basically shrugged her shoulder and gave me another burger which I promptly threw in their trash because I was not going to get another hair burger. I wish I could give this place a negative star review or zero stars my experience was that bad. I will never eat here again. read more

I've been going for years to this Wendy's and I have to tell you that I really like the food here. I agree about the cold fries, so I always ask for hot fresh fries. The only employee I ever had trouble with is an older lady who has worked for the company almost 20 years! Yes, she always acts like you're annoying her, but that's about it. I am now an official McDonald's customer. The last and final time I was there I ordered a baconator. When I first unwrapped it I found sauce all over my burger, but I'm not finished. Behind me were these teenagers throwing French fries at each other! Who knows what they did with them when I left. I wouldn't be surprised if they re-used them since there were so many on the ground. They were using the F word numerous times and laughing about as they were disturbing not only me, but another customer.
