    Cajun Fries, Little Hamburger, Peanuts
    Corrina T.

Clean and casual vibe and the best part is the free toppings--you can customize your burger however you like. The all-you-can-eat peanuts are a fun touch, adding a little extra to the experience. The Cajun fries are delicious, though I prefer them a bit crispier, but they're still a solid choice. Definitely a great spot for a more affordable and substantial meal.

My search for great take out places during covid times took me to Five Guys Burgers. I am glad to say that the burgers remained the same in awesome tastiness ! Love the regular hamburger and the bacon burger. I also like how you can customize the toppings, which are free as well as have the option for one or two patties. This place has a free parking lot which is handy. They do get busy during dinner times and the burgers take about 10 minutes to make. Ordering online will cut waiting time. They have a dine in section but it's not super spaced out and most people that I saw did take out.

With the limited amount if dedicated burger joints in Richmond, Five Guys is a very welcome addition. Burgers are a bit sloppy but tasty . The Cajun fries are always a good accompaniment. I haven't tried the milkshakes or hotdogs (and likely won't), so I can t comment on them. Free peanuts while dining in is a strange gimmick and not really sure how it transpired. *This review has been sitting unfinished since Fives Guys opened in Richmond and just published it now.

Bacon cheeseburger with all the works

There were quite a few choices for lunch in this plaza, but decided on this place because I still think it's one of the better burger joints for a nice juicy old fashion burger. I have never been to this location before but most of the locations for this chain are pretty consistent in terms of friendly service and their food quality. Here were the food I ordered while munching on some of their peanuts; 1. Bacon cheeseburger with all the way toppings. Everything the way I like in an old fashion homemade burger so be prepared to get your hands a little bit messy. 2. Little Hamburger with half the works. Pretty good but I still prepare with all the works more. 3. Poutine. Very generous portion with lots of cheese but I think I just stick with their fries and gravy on the side next time. There are quite a lot of burger joints opened up in the last decade or so but my two favourite places for burgers are still this chain and Big Texx in surrey. I think everything needed to say about this chain had been mentioned by everyone already and if you haven't try this chain's burgers and their fresh cut fries yet then time to take them for a taste run. I remember one of their first locations used to do be able to add a fried egg to the burger??

Surprised to see a Five Guys branch in Richmond! So thankful to have them!!! We called in at 9:45pm before closing and they came through for us. We got there in under 10 mins and had the whole place to ourselves for take out! The night time staff was super kind to us and they even welcomed us despite having a lot of questions about their drinks and food. The man behind the counter was patient and wasn't rushing us out the door despite it already being 10pm. Thank you guys!! We will be back soon!! Also, the food here is AMAZING!!! We craved this for weeks now!

The wait was worth it!!! Finally best burger in town is in Richmond , right in my neighborhood!!! Out of all the burger places i ve ever tried , 5 guys stays way ahead not even close to its competitors. Patty is always fresh and grilled to perfection , the bun is incredibly soft and makes you feel it was custom made to fit that tasty meat inside it and to add a touch of magic to the whole burger. And if you are wondering why they always have roasted peanuts in their shops , then you should know that it is a smart way to advertise for their french fries for which they use peanut oil to get it to that level of crispness. Long story short , nobody beats 5 guys in the burger industry . But I just noticed that they were making hot dogs as well which I ll need to try next time ; but I really wish they wont be as magnificent as their burgers otherwise I ll be wasting all my money there...

It was a daddy daughter date so we decided to try something rather different than our carb loaded meals....5 Guys! We walked in and all tables were full, a little line up to order, but moved pretty quick. Tables were turning over and also was able to get a seat. The two of us were watching the action in the kitchen and was cool to watch everything being cooked fresh. We had a little bacon cheeseburger with no toppings for my daughter and the regular bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, grilled onions and mushrooms and a regular order of fries..of course we had beverages as well. First bite for my daughter and she loved it...couldn't stop saying how good it is...she squeezed the burger to show me the juices coming out of the patty...lol. so yeah...it passed the kid test. For my adult burger, it was really tasty and fresh, the free toppings are amazing...where do you get free toppings..especially grilled onions and mushrooms. There was a good amount of bacon and cheese so no complaints. The surprising thing when we opened the bag was the amount of fries they give. We ordered the regular size and they gave twice the amount..awesome!! Ok soon..my daughter loved it so much we went again the very next night again..same love!!

This weekends cheat cravings lead me to Five Guys. The downfall of this place is that they don't have a veggie burger and don't serve chicken burgers either. If your craving a beef burger, then definitely check this place out. The secret to their crispy fries is the peanut oil they advertise. I am a fan of the poutine forsure!

This is a great location, quite spacious, not enough seating but very clean and bright. Service and food were fairly quick, most importantly convenient location and lots of parking! Food portions were very good as well, quality is as good as other locations.

For a burger shop the hot dog wasn't bad. In my boring life who is a foodie that for some reason has recently devolved to become a picky eater it's hard for me to really like food these days. Having recently found that some of my favorite foods I can't eat anymore. So it goes without saying that whenever I eat something, I'm never sure if I'm going to like it or not. I have always wanted to try Five Guys as I often pass by one in West Van. And now there's one in Richmond. So what did I do? Order a bloomin hotdog. Aiyah as they say. But you know what? I still enjoyed the experience of losing my virginity to a Five Guys hot dog. And of course like moi losing my virginity to a hot dog, well it was just ok. But I'm sure their burgers will be much better. That I can't wait to try next. I just hope my tastebuds are working and my recently finicky appetite doesn't scare me away! I have a feeling that 6 months ago I would have really enjoyed that dog. My tastebuds just seem so wracked now. Yes wracked. I lost my foodie Mojo and I'm a Yelper . Classic Five Guys experience. May be a bit pricier than typical burger fare but it's worth the hype

The terimayo and oroshi were bland which I couldn't understand. Do they not use the same dogs and sauce?! I've had the same thing at downtown and those were good. And the soba meshi , you've got to be kidding me. I laughed out loud when i saw it. "Soba meshi is a popular Japanese comfort food from Kobe that mixes finely chopped yakisoba noodles with cooked rice, stir-fried on a hot grill with meat and vegetables." In japan where I've had the real soba meshi, noodles are mixed with rice, i.e. a stir fried rice and noodles. This Japadogs version just put white rice next to the noodles. Not to mention the soba was also mediocre. It would have been a one star review again but there was a nice staff that gave my daughter freshly made fries. So thank you sir!

We ordered the number one Terimayo Dog, and it was packed with flavor. Sweet teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayo, crispy onions, and seaweed all on a hot dog. We also grabbed the Butter and Shoyu Shaked Fries. If you order them, ask for half salty. Trust me. Definitely a fun Vancouver food experience before heading home.

What we got: Ramen donut Lamb skewers Mango sago from Mango yummy Sugar Cane juice Mango coconuts drink with eatable ice cube Tea pot matcha milk tea Sanjie handmade cheese mochi Ramen donut was super crispy on outside. And ramen and cheese filling was good. I should have added spam topping which would have made this item more interesting. I did not try lamb skewers, I was told they were very tender, smoky and delicious. Mango sago drink was also legit item and very delicious. So many mango pieces inside. I really enjoyed mango coconuts drink with eatable ice cube. I chose pikachu shaped ice cube and presentation was so adorable. Drink itself was also delicious and a lot of mango pieces inside. Tea pot matcha milk tea was excellent. Presentation was very unique, staff placed a little cute tea pot on the top of drink and I guess dry ice inside and create smoke effect. it was very instagram worthy item. Highlight was Sanjie handmade cheese mochi! It was very unique item. The filling was Purple rice, taro paste, blueberries, starwberries blueberry cheese, fruits flavor boba and cereal flake coating. All ingredient worked so well! Purple rice and mochi were my favorite. Highly recommend this item! After eating, we enjoyed walking around shopping area and checked around game area. It was a fun place. I really enjoyed Richmond Night market since their opening even the festival was located near Ikea. A lot of memory, great food vendors and great entertainment.

Came on a sunday night around opening time around 7pm in late july with a friend. My friend kindly gave me his express line pass (it was a gift) and paid for my entrance fee. We both saved at least 15-30 minutes of waiting time at the normal non-express entranceway and the $7 per person entrance fee. If you've been to the night market the last couple of years, it's basically the same as previous years. The main attraction by far is the food stalls. There were lots and lots of food stalls (mostly Asian food). If you are interested in my thoughts on the food stalls and my recommendations, read through all my previous years yelp reviews because i go into great detail about them there. I only bought one thing this visit (i went to a buffet earlier that day). I bought the butter beer which didn't have any real beer in it. It was mostly butterscotch flavored cream soda and creamy foam topping. It was $7 and it tasted alright. But I dont think i would get it again. I tasted cream soda and a hint of butterscotch. The night market does have "happy hour" food item specials but only some booths do this. Some food items are under $10 and drinks are $7. I didn't see many interesting happy hour food items during my visit though. They had benches and tables scattered around the food stalls and a bunch near the middle. But there were so many people that there was no space left. i just opted to walk and drink. Other than food, from what i remember, people sold Items like handmade stuff, anime merch like figures and keychains and lights, and some just sold trading cards like pokemon cards. They had ziplining which looks like fun. They had carnival games like popping the balloon, hammer drop, ring toss into the bottle, something that looked like pachinko, the pull up bar challenge, that stacked bottle game, and the birthday month dice game. There were some attractions like the human hamster ball where you climb inside a bouncy plastic ball and walk around. They also had a talent show. No offense but the talent show at the night market wasn't that great. The band at the time was singing a jazzy version of old school music from the 80's and did not have any stage presence at all. There were long breaks between each song. People were leaving the seating area mid performance. We came around 7pm and it wasn't that busy, but when my friend and I left a little after 8pm, the line to get inside was really long and the food stall area was crowded as ever. 3 out of 5 stars based on this visit. I would go to the night market if you want to hang out with friends and try new foods for the fun of it. Throw the budget out the window because a lot of food items are overpriced still. Last tip. Bring lots of cash because the ATM machine fees are expensive. As far as i know, most stalls don't accept card.
