So so SO BAD. The line moved incredibly slow and there was only four or five cars, it wasn't particularly busy when I stopped here the other day to grab some food. By the time I get up to the speaker I couldn't even understand the guy I had to explain three or four times that I used their app and place the mobile order, It was ridiculous. Another long way to get up to the window which opens and a drink is just handed to me! No hello, no hey how's your day going, No politeness whatsoever. I take the drink and again nothing is said, the window just closes in my face. Eventually the window opens again and the guy asked if I'm the mobile order. Maybe you should have been asked before you gave me a drink? I confirm and he shuts the window in my face again. Eventually the windows opened again and a bag is just handed out again with no acknowledgment of my existence as a patron whatsoever. I checked the bag because of this point things are not going well and sure enough it's missing items and sauces. Of course I have to actually knock on the window to get anyone's attention because why would you want to make sure a customer satisfied? I got the missing items and sauces and my napkins and drove off immediately realizing I never got a straw for my beverage. My fault for missing it when I double checked everything but their fault for not putting it in the bag to start with. I've been through the drive thru three times in the past few months (it's a quick lunch, don't judge). The first time, the cashier informed me that they were only accepting credit card payments and not accepting cash. No problem, I pay for most things with my card. The second time, I waited 20-25 minutes to order a Frosty only to be told that the Frosty machine was not working. Most recently, I went through the drive thru to be told that they were only accepting cash, no cards. I only had a few singles on me, so I had to park and go inside to order my food after waiting in line (and their line is never short). All of this - granted - is not the end of the world, but it's not the best place to go if you want to get a quick bite without hassle. read more

In the heart of Rochester, this Wendy's really delivers. I was super impressed. My boyfriend and I stopped here on a weekday late night. When we first arrived the line did seem long but it moved surprisingly quickly and before we knew it, they were ready to take our order. The drive through employee was conscientious and upbeat. I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend ordered the Southwest Avocado Chicken Salad for me but asked for the chicken on the side. The employee went the extra mile to ask if he wanted the bacon on the side as well. When we got home I added the delicious Southwest dressing and oh man, was it good! The greens were so fresh and I am a true salad lover. My only complaint was the fries were just not salty enough. Once we got home and added salt, they were very good (and still warm). My boyfriend's Jr Bacon Cheeseburger was "quality." He ate it within a block (haha)! It was well constructed and easy to it with fresh ingredients. read more

The food quality is above average for a Wendy's, but the reason for my low score is because of the wait times. This Wendy's feels like it's consistently in the bottom 10 percent of Wendy's locations that I've been to in terms of how long I have to wait. Not just when there are long lines--even when there are only a few cars, wait times easily average out to 10 minutes for me. This was seriously the worst service I have EVER been given...so unprofessional and so rude. We waited in line for 25 MINUTES before having our order taken..we get up to the window spend $35 on 4 meals..they give us a sandwich, chicken nuggets and one fry and two drinks..we wait another 5 minutes before they ask us what we're waiting on...I tell them and he calls the manager over and she proceeds to tell me SHE gave us the whole order..we have never seen her? So I chose last night as a cheat night for my diet and I thought hmm maybe I will go and get Wendys. I brought my food home and there were 3 chicken nuggets in the bag. I was pretty disappointed to say the least. I called back and spoke to a woman manager and she was the most rude unprofessional manager that I have ever dealt with. She gave me some story about how all of the chicken nuggets are already in the cartons and they must've fallen out. I said that's not my concern. I paid for something and It was not right. She replied if you want to come back I'll give you a chicken nugget. I was like no I am not driving all the way back for one chicken nugget. I asked her after that do you think that was the best way to handle this situation. She then hung up on me. Never going there again. It may seem petty but when I come out of my pocket and pay for something, I expect to get what I paid for. I do not want anything more or less. Maybe the offer of a 4 piece nugget next time I come in or a dollar coupon any kind of effort to fix the situation would've been appreciated.
