This Wendy's was a stop along the drive home from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania and it was exactly what we needed at that point in our drive. A place to stretch out our legs, go to the bathroom, and grab a quick bite to eat. My boyfriend and I ordered the $5 special that came with a sandwich, nuggets, fries, and a drink. We may have waited 5 minutes total for our food to be ready. Ate it quickly inside and went on our way. There are no mask requirements for indoors at this Wendy's as of August 1. The employees did wear masks. It was not busy at the time of our stop ( 11 AM on a Sunday). The space inside was clean and the staff was friendly. If I happened to be passing by again, this would be a welcomed pit stop! read more

I recently found out that Wendy's had an issue with "exploding" chicken sandwiches back in 2002. In present day, Wendy's in Rocky Hill seems to have brought them back. My last three visits here I've ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and have been squirted with scalding hot liquid upon first bite each time. I was not happy at all with my visit. This Wendy's is my go to, and I've never had an issue with this location before. I ordered a Bourbon Bacon Burger with 3 patties and extra cheese. I go to eat it and I saw that it was made with chicken. To add insult to injury the chicken was extremely dry and tasteless. Finding myself at Wendy's quite often these days. However my experience today was not all that I hoped it would be. Before even entering I had my sights set on a 5 dollar biggie bag plus redeeming a coupon on the app for a 1 dollar crispy chicken sandwich. When ordering, my coworker in front of me attempted to redeem the same coupon as I had planned to. The system would not recognize it and the employee could not manually enter it either. At this point I had given up hopes of acquiring a 1 dollar chicken sandwich and had to settle for just the biggie bag. I did eventually get my food but to my surprise the ketchup dispensers were not working. When eating I would have liked to use the bathroom however that was out of service aswell. The only redeeming factor for this Wendy's establishment is the food was nice and hot and the soda was a perfect mixture. If you desperately need to eat, this is your place. read more

Never come here. The service was horrible, both of our cashiers barely muttered, and both had blank expressions as if they were zombies. I went today for one of the $4 meals and two 50 cent frosty's. When I got to the window to pay it was $5.79. I asked why it was that much as it should have $5 and tax. They said that their $4 meal is $4.44. Asked for the receipt and got it at the next window. Got to the next window, no receipt (said I should have gotten it at the window when I paid. I got barbeque sauce for my nuggets, I asked for sweet and sour. I got no ketchup for my fries, even though I asked for it. I wanted the Frosty's in a bag instead of a tray. First they put the tray of Frosty's on a bag, I had the hardest time explaining that I didn't want the tray. when they finally understood, they threw the bag at me. The burger was dry, and fries were cold. They only thing they didn't screw up was the drink. This Wendy's is terrible service wise. We love the salads and the $4 meals. I work close by and myself and coworkers go there frequently. Unfortunately every time we go through the drive through we have an issue. Wrong orders, missing food, wrong size. They don't give you a receipt when you pay. You have to ask at the second window and half the people don't understand English I think. So we have given up on going there. Too many mistakes. It's a Wendy's! My favorite items are the frostee and their burgers. Beef is never frozen (supposedly) and you can customize all you want. I cannot comment on the dining in portion, I only ever visit the drive thru of this particular Wendy's. Nuggets and fries for this kids are always a big hit. Be careful navigating the drive thru, it's a bit tight and dumps right onto the Silas Deane. Granted there is a light, but people get really insane on that road sometimes. read more

This was the Rolls Royce of Wendy's. I went to the bathroom and there was one employee in there who was stocking the bathrooms with toilet paper. She helped me get a paper towel for my hands after I washed them. The guy taking my order was awesome. There was someone else sweeping the floors. Everyone was super happy and friendly. Super clean.
