Pulled in on this Wednesday in August at about 2:00 PM. Rocky Hill Jersey Mike's was hopping, even though it was the end of lunch I was quickly waited on, and I ordered my favorite, with a new twist.... And if you want to try a sandwich that explodes with flavors you've gotta follow me on this. I ordered the Italian sub, Mike's Way, with spices and wet Now here's where it gets really interesting and the explosion happens On top of the sandwich construction, I asked for jalapeño peppers and banana peppers, finished off with pickles And the plain piece of bread that's gonna be the top piece, I added mayonnaise and the spicy relish Once these flavors mesh together, this is possibly the best combo there is at any grinder shop in the world in my humble opinion The explosion of flavors and crunch is simply amazing. Done this way it is possibly the greatest tasting grinder ever constructed. The heat, the banana peppers, the hot relish, oil/vinegar wetness, Italian spices freshness to the bread, flavor in the meats and cheese, with a pickle on top, oh my! Thank you jersey Mike's Rocky Hill, you made this guest feel like a king. The sandwich was constructed with love and attention, adding that smile and Good nature twist from the employee. Is this location my favorite? , you bet it is ! I was so excited about ordering the sandwich, I forgot to check in. The grinder I ordered was atrocious. My husband ordered a salad, (you can't really screw that up). He brings home a beef, cheese and jalapeno sandwich. There was the bare minimum of all three items on the roll they used to serve me. The beef was so dry and over done that nothing could have made it rise to the edible status. I called the store after we got home and the manager was less than helpful. I would never choose to go to this locality for a meal. We've been to others that served a decent sandwich for the price. I am so pleased that my first review has improved!! I LOVE Jersey Mike's ! I love the ease of ordering my usual (#8) online and never a wait! I always get a "Hey!" When I go pick up my order and it makes me feel valued, even tho I'm not directly interacting with anyone. The number 8 is fantastic with the rosemary Parmesan mini sub! I love the fresh roll with the crunchy bacon-which by the way, is not overdone! Just enough bacon to give it a little crunch! Love that a Jersey Mike's opened in Rocky Hill! Easily my favorite "chain" sandwich shop. They freshly slice all their meats and it for sure makes a difference! We ordered online on a Friday evening and our subs were ready right on time, or actually a bit early! For being open what like...3 days is impressive as I've received far longer wait times at other nearby locations. The interior is gorgeous and clean. I actually can't remember what used to be here. Just went to Jersey Mike's over here in Rocky Hill and was a little late almost ready to close but the shift manager destiny made sure that I did not leave without making sure she served me. She had a great personality, warm and inviting enjoy talking to her, she made my visit fantastic and I will come back to visit again thank you Destiny and the rest of the staff. Terrible awful subs we got on Sunday October 22. All 3 subs had jalapeños and we never asked for that. Had to pick them out. Skimpy never generous with the meat. Seasonings non existent. And now they're infiltrated all over CT. Nope no and nah there are so many better sandwich shops around. Hope they go out of business. read more

If you want to get a quick order from this Jersey Mike's location do not order from your app. Drive there and stand in line - even if the line is out the door. I guarantee it will be faster. Every order I have placed on line has been late. While I show up at the designated time to pick up my order, I watch people come in, wait in line, place their order and leave before my order is completed. Why I think "this time" will be different, it never fails that the order is not ready. Just came back from Jersey Mikes in Rocky Hill. First time there and was EXCELLENT. Great grinder and lots to choose from. Nice clean place to eat in or take out, will be back for sure, It will take me a while to work my way through the menu, lol. Great place to eat and the service was fast and friendly. Ordered 2 hot regular subs. Waited 40 minutes for 1/2 of the order. They waited a good 5 minutes before announcing that that part was there. Asked for a refund for the sub part - the beverages had been drunk already. When he put in the refund - it actually read that he would be charging me again - I brough it to his attention and he stated that - no, trust me it's a refund - it says so on my side. They finally refunded me cash. No reciept. I paid $10.32 for two flat fountain sodas and one warm bottled pepsi. The chain is good - but this branch is not. read more

We were very excited when Jersey Mike's came to Rocky Hill, but our excitement was short lived unfortunately. We have ordered from this location probably a dozen times over the past year, each time hoping that things would improve, but it never does. First of all, the customer service is terrible. The last time I stopped in to order I was standing in line for more than 15 minutes waiting, while several employee's milled about behind the line, not one person even acknowledged me the entire time. When one of the employee's finally asked me what I wanted to order I stepped forward and began to speak, but another customer approached and the employee abruptly walked away from me and address the other customers concern, making them a new sub, without a word of apology to me. Once the subs were underway I had to deal with the woman with glasses who works the register, and this time was exactly like every other time I have had to interact with her. She is incredibly rude, miserable, and doesn't respond to questions, she is the last person that should be interacting with customers. One time when I was having difficulty scanning a coupon, she reached over the counter and pulled it out of my hand without a word and scanned it, then scowled at me. Another time I asked if I could give her my phone number so that I could get my Shore Points and once again, she didn't respond, just reached over and pressed a button on the screen. I always feel as though I am bothering her just by being a customer. The subs themselves are also much skimpier than what we have purchased from the Glastonbury & Southington stores, definitely not a good value for the money spent. In addition, they do not offer curbside pickup like the Glastonbury & Southington stores, and I am never able to use a coupon on the app, I must go into the store to order and process the coupon and then endure the incredibly long wait for our food. From now on I will make the much longer drive to go to the Glastonbury or Southington store or I will spend our hard earned money at D'Angelos instead. So very disappointed. read more

I received Ham WITH CHEESE no onions no banana peppers . I had to throw the sub away. 3rd time it happened. Do not go here. Go to Glastonbury instead. read more

Happy to have another option for quick food in the Wethersfield area so we decided to try Jersey Mike's for lunch. hubby had a Philly chicken cheese chipotle steak on wheat and I had a turkey sandwich Mike's way as a wrap. The grinder bread was so good that next time I wouldn't sub for the wrap - everyone has wraps but everyone doesn't have awesome bread. Sandwiches are big, almost too big; The employee making my wrap couldn't wrap it up and had to get someone else to assist her. i wish more places would offer less meat as a default and then allow people to upsize as opposed to having the default size be so full because the small is too small but the half grinder is too big due to the filling. The chipotle could have been a little more prevalent on the cheese steak but that is personal preference. The sodas they have their seem very interesting to try one if I hadn't already closed the check, i would've got one - next time ! read more

This was my second visit and review, my first was very good except the bread was left on the counter and was a little hard, this time the bread was kept in a covered bread rack and was fresh, I highly recommend this place if you want a great grinder. read more

Ordered here again today. Knew I shouldn't have but gave them a shot and yet again. Another sandwich ruined. I ordered 5 sandwiches four number 17s and one 56. I got 2 semi 56s 2 semi 17s and one sandwich with I think 17 and lettuce and tomato. How? How is this possible? Disgusting. read more

I ordered on the app for two sandwiches, one with onions one without. The one that wasn't supposed to have onions had them and the smell was nauseating, so we took it back inside to have it remade. We went inside, told them to problem and asked for a new sub. The employee then proceeded to take the sub, remove the onions from the already made sandwich, add lettuce, and give it back. Meanwhile 4 employees were sitting there on their phones giggling as he did this, with not a single customer inside the store. Went here after wife stopped at subway and I wanted a better grinder. She told me a Jersey Mike opened up and I was pumped because I was thinking of going to Glastonbury for the grinder. The place had no wait, walked up and asked for capicola and turkey grinder. Their was no choice of bread and I got the end of a turkey carcass and something they called capicola that looked like bologna ham. I was deflated a bit by the quality and quantity. Next up is the choice of lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, onion and pickles at adds. More choices at subway. Next was the register where I was charged $16+. The grinder has little flavor but the bread wasn't hard or stale as others have had. It maybe the current economy but not the precovid grinder I enjoyed in Glastonbury. read more
