Hello management at the American Legion Highway location in Massachusetts. I witnessed at least two of your employees that were working the counter have gloves on and scratch there hair more than a few times. They didn't change their gloves not one time after doing that! Why is that? She went back into the area where the fries were at as well as by the grill cook. This isn't acceptable at any time! Not even during covid please retrain your employees on basic sanitation it's not hard ! Put some best practices in place that are non negotiable. You all can get some really sick. Note ! This is a place of business and do we really need the manager yelling through the kitchen saying a noxious things . Proper uniform is a must . Many of your employees aren't wearing there uniforms ! Do not even think of visiting this Wendy's on American Legion Highway. It was closed and only the drive through was open. The double burger I purchased was beyond disgusting. They need to fire who ever in charge of restocking and the entire staff running the drive through. I just waited an hour just for them to tell me they ran out of EVERYTHING. They had only 3 meals available and not even the size I requested. No sauce, can't even make a 4 for 4. Person taking the orders couldn't even get his story straight with what they were out of. Either you have a shitty lazy staff or you seriously need to fire who reorders your supplies form the distributor. If you have such few options why is the line taking so long? Maybe fire both. This is a painful review to write because I would ordinarily never seek to critique a Wendy's establishment - my favorite fast food since childhood. However, I am never not disappointed when I go to the Wendy's on American Legion Highway. First of all, the actual restaurant is never open. I assumed this was for COVID reasons but last time I went up to the door, there was a sign that said it was closed for "technical" reasons. I do not know what this means since they are able to service folks at the drive-thru. Second, the drive-thru is a nightmare. Perhaps because the restaurant is never open, the drive-thru is often 10-15 cars long, often producing a wait time of 20+ minutes for "fast" food. Third -- and to me most disappointingly -- sometimes my love of Wendy's is too much to overcome, and I will brave the drive-thru just for my favorite treat of all-time: the Frosty. Yet, on a very regular basis, by the time I get to place my order I am told they are unavailable. Just pure heartbreak! These are issues that affect this particular Wendy's. I have gone to others in Greater Boston without issue. But unless something changes I can strongly recommend avoiding Wendy's until something changes. read more

This Wendy's is straight trash. Everything in it is awful. The food is gross and the employees are grosser. Literally takes an hour to get through the drive trough with 3 cars ahead of you, and 45mins to get your food if you go inside. They also stop making food after like 7:30 so chances are they won't have what you want anyway. The employees could care less about doing their jobs. I'm honestly surprised this place is still open. One of the worst locations till this day. There's not many wendys locations around so I usually go to this one when I'm heading to Mattapan or Dorchester. Last time I was there, I was only spoken to when my order was being taken. 1st window paid me no mind, swiped my card and gave it back with no receipt and no words at all. Second window, same interaction. Just handed me my food and went on about his business. They are extremely slow every single time! How many more horrible reviews can this "at least worthy of 4 stars" place get? These reviews are, honestly speaking, RIDICULOUS. The Roslindale Wendy's has one big problem ; however, it isn't even completely their fault. The amount of cars waiting in the drive thru is constantly ridiculous. People in this area are smart, and have realized that Wendy's is SO much better than McDonald's or Burger King, and unfortunately this is the ONLY Wendy's for at least a 20 minute drive (Wendy's REALLY needs to open more restaurants, especially one near me in Westwood!). The parking lot is sort of confusing, but if you are familiar with it (like I am, now that I have stopped by so many times....), it works perfectly fine. Whenever I go (normally around once every 2-3 months...), the staff are always friendly and in a good mood. They haven't made a mistake in my order to date, and the prices are the cheaper than some of the other restaurants. They always remember to give me a receipt, and they always seem to be working diligently. Sometimes the service is slow, but this location just gets SO busy, and even with a ton of people working it can't move the speed of a cheetah. They recently remodeled it so it has the new, sparkling Wendy's logo, and looks a whole lot cleaner than before. In my eyes, at least there is a Wendy's here at all, and it has good food and good service. Where I live (in Westwood), I have to drive miles to get anywhere near a Wendy's (this is technically the closest one to me....). I really have empathy for this Wendy's (especially reading horrible review after horrible review....). I have no problems with this location and will continue to patronize it. Sure it isn't as great as any of the suburban Wendy's locations, but it's definitely most convenient for a lot of people, including myself. If reading this, these other reviews are absurd and should really be discarded. 4 stars for the Roslindale Wendy's. read more

Food is great , but customer service was horrible! We were missing a 6 piece nugget from our bag and told the lady at the window,she then proceed to tell us we didnt order it but we paid for the extra nugget. She ended up getting her manager, her manger then told us we paid for a 4 piece not a 6 piece(either way we only had one set of nuggets in the bag). I told the manager i was missing the extra set of nuggets I paid for & she told me that the young lady (who said we didnt pay for an extra set of nuggets) said she put it in our bag basically accused us of lying. I handed her the bag so she can check for herself but she refused to take the bag and then after all the hassle decided to give us the other set of nuggets we already paid for. read more

The wait was alright for a Friday night. I had ordered a chicken sandwich and a frosty while my boyfriend ordered a baconator and a chocolate frosty. First Thing they have roaches, like them roaches is so bold they crawling around the front of the house over by the chili!! Horrible. They was slow, food was cold did an online order which I waited for 40 minutes to finally get. Then didn't even have all my food in the bag that was ordered. When I called to pick up my food they never answered the phone. So I end up having to get in the long drive thru line which defeats the purpose of ordering online for a quick pickup. The lines in drive through are long and slow. Waiting time 20 minutes plus. One time the cashier at window spoke no English the manager had to translate. All I wanted was value fries.... So I literally waited in line for an hour. Got to the front of the line just for them to tell me they're closed. It was 9:30pm and they are supposed to close at 1am. Anyways they were not closed the system was temporarily down for 2 min. I waited in the parking lot to see and sure enough the person that was behind me got his order taken. They locked the doors so you couldn't go in so I went to the window to explain my situation. This Wendy's is always crowded. The drive thru line is usually wrapped around the building and the wait is extremely long which sometimes seems to be lack of urgency. The food usually taste fine and is hot but always missing something from our order.. fries, salad dressing, burgers etc. read more

I ordered the Homestyle Chicken Meal #7 and a baked potato with cheese and bacon. First off the chicken sandwich was soggy, and the tomato had ice chips on it from the freezer. It almost tasted like the sandwich was made yesterday and went to the freezer then the microwave and then served to me. The baked potato was warm and kind of cool in the middle. The cheese was half melted and the other half was still hard shredded cheese and the bacon was half raw. I will never go back to this place ever again. I live close by but still drive to the Wendy's in Canton, MA on route 138. Theres no love for the food served here. read more

hands down the worst wendys ive ever been to. i have no problem waiting in the slowest drive through ever. but last night i got a burger that they should be ashamed of. literally had to wipe off the mounds of ketchup/mayo with a napkin, so much that the soggy lettuce tomato and onions were completely submerged and no longer visible. the lettuce was so soggy it was stuck wrapped around the actual burger . lettuce, tomato, and onion was old and wilted. after taking it apart and cleaning it up so it was edible, i finished eating it and spent the night sick in the bathroom. never again will this location get my business. disgusting. read more
