It's the season of giving and with that said, I'd like to issue a 5-star fast food review. Keep in mind, this 5-star review gift for this particular Wendy's is not just being given away. Every single star was earned by their phenomenal staff. I rarely venture to the east side. But somehow, I ended up here for a weekend lunch. I entered the line and started salivating over my upcoming Baconater meal. I couldn't wait to take a bite into one of my favorite fast food burgers that features two juicy beef patties, two melted slices of cheese, and several strips of smoked bacon. But my fast food orgasm was delayed by a super long lunch line (that was snaking all around the restaurant). I grew impatient. I thought this was freakin' fast food. Why is it taking so damn long? Then I noticed what the problem was. At the front of the line is an elderly man, confined to a wheel chair, that was making the thought of watching grass grow sound somewhat enticing. His voice was hard to hear and understand. He moved really slow. He couldn't stand at all to be heard better. He also had trouble locating his money and loose change to pay for his meal. Essentially, it was taking him 20 minutes to order a #1. And at the end of the line, there is a lifelong brat with zero patience (and abnormally beautiful hair). Everyone in the lunch line began to lose patience. There is obvious murmuring and loud sighing. A couple of people walked out. And what did the employees do? Did they panic? Did they stress out? Did they rush the old man to get the line moving? In the end, these minimum wage fast food employees showed they had the most class in the entire restaurant. They offered this old man the best customer service I had ever seen at any Wendy's. They took their time with his order and made sure it was perfect. One girl walked over and knelt down to better hear his order. The cashier carefully counted out his chain and another employee made sure his money was stored safely in a small bag attached to his wheelchair. And a fourth employee handed him his food and offered to help him exit the restaurant. That afternoon, that elderly man came for a quick to go meal. He left with that quick to go meal and all of his dignity. This act of professionalism and pure kindness was beautiful. I had never seen anything quite like it. I was amazed. I felt like even I could change my selfish ways. I pondered the thought of volunteering at an old folks home on the weekends. Or helping at a homeless shelter once in a while. Instead, I ordered my food, enjoyed it immensely, grabbed a "Frosty" to go, went home, played Madden all day, and ordered some Star Wars shoes online. Hey, somethings never change. But some things do. And after witnessing how much TLC goes into the food and the customers here, my Baconator tasted that much better. I think I had my first double orgasm that day. read more

Worst Wendy's ever!! While ordering and reconfirming my order with the lady she agreed the order was correct. The order all together was 30 bucks and she asked me to sign the receipt which I found to be really odd since this is a fast food drive threw. Once I get home to enjoy my food, I was given deluxe burgers instead of jr bacon cheese burgers ( which are much cheaper!) Get ripped off and food that I didn't order. This used to be the spot when I was in high school! My friends and I came here during =X and after school to "chill" and talk about our dramaful lives. Their dollar menu is still awesome but I recently got to venture outside of it. I ordered the Very Berry salad with raspberry vinaigrette and it was amazing! A half size is actually a decent size. I am tired of service like this. Ate there yesterday for lunch. I had a regular french fries, and the box/container was only 60% full. If you want to save money, make the stupid container smaller, but don't cheat me on what I paid for !! Yeah, I could complain right then and there and get it fixed, but that doesn't fix it for the next person in line, or for me the next time I go there. Also, I asked for tomato on their new fish sandwich. I did get tomato, sort of. It was an end slice, and covered less than 30% of the bun. I enjoy a good Wendys meal here and there. Everytine I visit my local Wendy's fast food restaurant lately I have got really bad service. The cashier in the drive thru is very unpleasant. Lacks customer service. Today I asked for a burger plain, got the complete opposite. Couldn't not have it as I am allergy to tomatoes. I was asked if I wanted sauce, perfect!! Order was correct, but the drive thru girls customer service made me feel really unwelcome and almost like I was a bother to her and asking for too much. I work at a Starbucks drive thru myself, and we're expected to give excellent customer service, and to be patient with all customers no matter the circumstances. Ordered a Triple cheeseburger meal. It was a 12 hour work day, and I just wanted to grab a lot of food and get home to eat and then sleep. But I guess maybe it's my fault for not "double checking my food". But I got home to find that they only gave me a single burger... Which is just not nearly enough food for me.. Wendy's is wendy's Service is very fast as usual, even during lunch hour you get your food super fast. I only come here when my dad wants to come but i feel like the nuggets have changed. They don't taste like they use to. My jr. bacon cheese burger was okay. It just seemed cold and not just made. My dads chicken burger didn't look that appetizing either. Nowadays I'm diggin' Wendy's vs. McDonald's. I appreciate the fact that Wendy's has a late night drive thru which means if I'm having the usual munchies at 12:30AM, I can head down there for some quick eats. I'm a big fan of the Fresca sandwiches which offers a cleaner alternative to the greasy burger. Also, you can customize your side orders with your combo meals. Don't like those fatty fries? Get a small salad. Don't want that calorie-infested soda? Get a bottle of water instead. It definitely helps when you're in the mood for something else besides the usual fries and coke that other establishments require you to have with their combo meals. You say "Where's the beef?" Those "old fashioned hamburgers" are at Wendy's, "always fresh, never frozen". Because "it's waaaay better than fast food." I love Wendy's!! I used to go here once in awhile when I lived in San Jose but after I moved I stopped going. Lately I've seen so many commercials and it got me craving it. My hubby and I went to the drive through and it was nearly impossible for me to choose what to eat. I was determined to order off the value menu and then I saw all the salads and other things on the menu that I had to second guess. ALL the prices are super decent and the food is sooo good. I ended up ordering the 5 piece spicy nuggets and a double stack off of the value menu. I was surprised at how fast I ate my food haha. The beef patties are fresh, never frozen, and it was honestly really good. I dipped my spicy nuggets in honey mustard and then 30 seconds later..it was all gone =( Now, I just have to go back during the day and try their salads. You can order the combo and choose your own side! I definitely think Wendy's is one of the better fast food joints. I don't feel like I'll have a heart attack as quickly. read more

i just came by the drive thru and thank food i checked the order before pulling out the parking lot, and they messed up my order and my brothers as well, i told them in english that my order was wrong, that i mentioned i wanted a burger meal#8 and they asked me if i wanted a double or trip and the gave me a chicken sandwich. the lady turned around assuming i didn't speak Spanish and said, i was dumb and didn't know what i even ordered. at that point i decided to respond in Spanish and still explain the situation in there language preference. i felt like they were being racists towards anyone who doesn't speak Spanish, i'm happy i cut her off and told her in Spanish how they fucked up not me. my opinion if your going to run the business as a manager, you should know better, why couldn't you say it in English. and i wanted to complain corporate but they didn't give me my receipt back read more

This place makes good burgers. Makes great fries. But when they screw up they go big. I am currently here as I draft this. Here is the order.... (if the owner reads, ticket 161 at 11:38 on April 21, 2011). A W burger with no pickles and an Asiago chicken combo grilled was what we ordered. I have a photo of the recipt with the W WITH pickles and the Asiago chicken with what appears to be ink on the bun or something black. I hope it's not mold. The sandwiches had hardly any lettuce on it (one tiny piece each). Mainly meat and cheese. I guess I can't expect much. The crew could be new OR they hate their jobs and don't care. I know someone who would be GLAD for any job even this one, and would out preform the current crew hands down. Like others, I suspect, I came here because the local McDonald's is closed for rebuilding. I'm not a regular. I came at lunchtime, and they were very busy, about a half full in the restaurant. Service was still very quick. Hence two stars. However, my "deluxe" cheeseburger looked more "old" than "old-fashioned", the cheese was unmelted and cold, obviously dumped in on top of a reheated burger, there was a small single piece of lettuce. Most memorable was the way in which the cold processed cheese out-flavored everything else, leaving an impression of eating a cheap cheese sandwich. Goodness knows what a standard burger is, if this is the "deluxe". I also had coffee which tasted cheap and not very fresh. OK, I didn't spend much money and might have got what I should have expected. But honestly, for even this price McDonald's does way better. And that's not difficult. read more

This place is the closest Wendy's to us for some odd reason, and we love their 99 cent menu drive through when I've got class and work on a weeknight. Unfortunately, they have been messing up our orders quite frequently. Once they gave me my Sour Cream & Chive potato without the sour cream, another time they forgot our fries order, and by the time we got home I was too hungry to drive back. We visited them couple nights ago and Wendy's at this particular location again forgot to give us one of our order, I'm starting to think that they need to change their staff or something... Came here at 11 pm on a Thursday night to grab a quick late night salad. I don't eat meat and all the salads come with meat, but if you are nice they will not add meat to your salad! i don't go to wendy's often but the times that i have, they've been able to satisfy my cravings. the frosty is definitely the best item on the menu as it's cheap and yet still great, creamy quality. the frosty is a soft served ice cream that comes in a cup and i believe they offer the flavors vanilla and chocolate. additionally, wendy's offers a 4 for $4 meal which is super affordable and filling for anyone on a budget! read more

Okay. That was the most frustrating experience. I ordered the combo Baconator, but instead I got the cheese burger. I didn't look for the burger but the receipt. I came back, told them that was the wrong order. They told me that was the baconator, so I told him that I need another receipt. He told me they both have the same price????. Go to any other Wendy's if you can! We've been going to Wendy's a lot (probably to about 15+ different locations across the country) and have never experienced such bogus rules as we did yesterday at this Wendy's. We usually get the exact same thing every time as well, a 4 for 4 with a double stack and a large fry. Simple enough. When we get there and try to order this, they tell us we cannot do a double stack with the 4 for 4, even though it was clearly displayed on the menu. When we asked him this, he got sort of aggressive and said "I'm telling you right now that you can't do that." Bummer. We got another sandwich. When we asked about upgrading the fries, we were told we could not do that as well, and had to upgrade the entire meal (~30c upgrade vs $2 upgrade for no reason?) which we've NEVER had to do before. The cherry on top was when they tried to assume we wanted BBQ sauce without asking, and when we asked for the actual sauce we wanted, they tried to charge us extra for it with attitude. How have we gone to so many Wendy's and never encountered even one of the many problems encountered at this Wendy's?? Do yourself a favor and GO TO ANY OTHER WENDYS read more

Service here sucks!! I decided to go to Wendy's around 11 pm for a early lunch before starting my grave yard shift. I order and drove up to the window to pay, I had specifically ask the night manager which was the one handling my order this evening if I had got all my sauce requested and he stated yes, I got my food and drove into the main parking lot, yet behold I didn't receive any for sour cream or butter for my bake potato so I drove back through the drive through window and told the manager that I did not receive any sour creme or butter, he look at me trying to act dumb founded and reply "oh there is none in the bag?" No shit sherlock you just pack my food and dont remember if you put any sour cream or butter with my potato but answer yes when I ask if I receive my sauces? He was hesitant in giving me 1 sour cream and 1 butter and never apologized for the inconvenient, I was almost late to work. If you ever want your food order right, do not come to this location, my daughter goes to nearby High School so we stopped there several times a month and they always get our order wrong, lately we order the chili and cheese and everytime we get it they add onions even though I tell them to not, most of the time we're able to scoop out the onions unfortunately when we do we scoop out the cheese that I pay extra for, but the last time I went there they must have realized that they added onions instead of removing it or serving a fresh cup, they buried it, I found that very deceitful I went back and complained , but the looks they gave me showed me that it went in one ear and out the other. read more

First visit in December - Nice burger place. Good commercial neighborhood- fast service, friendly employees, clean place - basically, NOTHING wrong. Great job! Second visit - came in a few days ago; the counter server was friendly despite huge drive-thru line. The place was, again, very clean, and the only problem was that the drink machine seemed to be out of ice. I would have asked the counter staff for ice from behind the counter, but it was near closing time, and wasn't a big enough deal to make it worth my (or their) time. read more

Just came here tonight and i was really disappointed. I ordered a bacon chicken branch salad and the lady who took my order was giving me the mean look which made me really uncomfortable. Then a couple came after us ordered the same food as me and somehow the lady just gave them my food. I was waiting for 10 mins for my food but it never came so i came to ask her where is my food and she said just wait a bit then 5 more mins my food still had not came out yet so my bf came to ask her why the customers who came after us got their food already but we didnt and she answered that she dont know and its not her business without any apology. After that we found out that she gave our food to another customer then she just avoided us until another lady from the kitchen showed up and gave us our food. A few times I've stopped by and ordered food to take home, seems like they get so cheap with the ketchup and ranch only giving me one ranch and 4 ketchup's for orders for 3 people; but however, I really do like their food such as the number 2 (double burger) and the chicken nuggets.
