Went to Wendy's. As I got inside I see a few people waiting for their orders. After a few minutes a lady locks the doors and tells me I won't be served inside and I have to go through the drive thru because they are now closed inside. I went in before they were closed inside and now they tell me I won't be served? I would understand if I was not inside yet and the doors were locked but I was already inside! Such terrible service. First time going to Wendy's and got the chicken nugget meal, and it really hit the spot! The nuggets were crispy, hot, and super filling. Definitely got my money's worth with the portion size--left the drive-thru feeling satisfied. I went through the drive-thru, so I can't speak to the in-store service or ambiance, but the drive-thru was quick, and I got my food in no time. Can't complain there! I used to go here all the time using the mobile app for drive thru. Now, the mobile app has been updated, and gives an error code to me and everyone else I know. Other locations do not have this issue. I've tried everything, from uninstalling the app, to clearing cache and data, to restarting my phone, nothing works! When I was able to order in the past, they always made me wait past the drive window without fail for at least 5 minutes as well, this store is a dud. I am not one to give bad reviews, or take time to review at all really. First, it took 15-20 minutes in the drive through to get our order. I guess their computers were down and they also were only taking cash. It happens. Well they got half the order wrong. One was an item completely different. The other had mayo when we asked for none (for our kiddo, which was a show stopper right there). We pointed to it and didn't check it well enough, but they repeated the same mistakes. We had to return and point it out again. The third time? They fixed one, but still put mayo on my kid's burger. Three. Times. Finally on the fourth try they had fixed it. Added to this; enough straws, spending 30 minutes overall to get our correct order, and finding out they put mayo on yet another burger that was supposed to be plain. Awful experience. I just started coming to Wendy's for their breakfast. I haven't had a bad experience at the Saratoga Ave location before but I did notice a worker not wearing gloves when preparing the food. Often I'm waiting in my car for my order, so I can see the same person taking orders, touching the sliding window for customers and grabbing fries with their bare hands to prepare. I have no complaints in terms of customer service but this is a sanitation issue. read more

After walking out of a nearby Jack-in-the-Box I found myself at Wendy's last Saturday seeking something quick to eat. I was a little hesitant about stopping here seeing some of the reviews but I was in a hurry. My wife and I both ordered and we both had a request on our meal (my wife wanted her salad without chicken and I wanted my chicken sandwich without pickles.) They got our order correct, service was quick, cashier at the window was very friendly. For a fast food place I wasn't at all disappointed, everything came out quick and correct with friendly service. This is the worst Wendy's I ever been to. 10 out of 10 times when I go through the drive thru, it's the same girl and my order is always wrong or she's confused. One time I asked for a chicken sandwich, she asked me 1 or 2 patty. Ok?! There such thing as 2 patties there, cool I will take 2. Then the order comes and she give me a burger with 2 patties. Normally I would avoid coming here but once I heard about their one cent cheeseburger on national cheese burger day, I started to come here even with their app being messed up. Strangely enough this place doesn't disappoint if you order the right things. I really like their biggie bags, got two of them and are worth the $12 dollars. It's really cool. However the price is steep but hey, if we are filling ourselves up with the right things, it's worth it. They seem to step up their game recently but will only come here if I have too because fast food is getting more unaffordable every day. Krabby patty promo is garbage. We got the combo tonight and it was basically the same as the Dave's combo with a pineapple frosty for $16 and change. Normally they are not a value play but this is just vastly disappointing. It's underwhelming for the cost. The burger maybe has one extra slice of cheese, but is the same as their normal burger. Fries of course were served cold. The frost they added syrup and the first sip was all syrup. Paid with a $50 and it took 15 mins for them to figure out how to get change. I'm not looking for a dollar menu garbage but this shouldn't be sit down restaurant dining prices. Dave Thomas would be disappointed. read more

I had the Dave's single for the first time and it was so good! Not sure why there are so many bad reviews because I've never had an issue at this location. Went there at around 11am on a weekday. Service: They seemed to have about 3 workers total, one making the food, one managing the drive thru, and one cleaning outside of the kitchen. It took a pretty long time for them to finally take my order (with no customers in front of me) and another 20 minutes for my food to be ready. My overall impression was that they weren't expecting many customers, so they hired extremely few workers, and as a result, provided relatively slow service. Ironically, that may be a factor in driving customers away. Food: Ranking from favorite to least: 1: chicken nuggets: solid chicken nuggets for a good price 2: regular burger: it would've probably tasted even better with cheese, but I didn't get it with cheese 3: spicy chicken sandwich: we mainly came here to compare with Popeye's. Tasted like a pretty typical chicken sandwich to me. Also higher price than popeyes. Also, not even a little bit spicy. Maybe they accidentally gave us a regular non spicy sandwich. Service sucks we live only 5 minutes away from this Wendy's and it's my little sister's favorite place to eat so we always go to it and they always get our orders incorrect or leave out an item out so every time we go we have to repeat our order to them so they can get it correct and then when we pull up to the window to get our food we look in the bag before we leave and they still get it wrong so we let them know nicely but they always are rude no matter what every time we go it's disappointing. read more

I had a Dave's Single at another Wendy's yesterday and it was so good that I had a Dave's Double Combo today. I just can't resist the two patties of fresh all-American beef, melted American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo and ketchup all on a soft bun. the crispy fries and perfect-tasting Coke add to the sheer yumminess of the meal and I just love eating at Wendy's. It was an ok place. I dont know how you review a chain with location every 2 miles. But placing the order was ok considering Covid in mind, not a long wait. While picking up the order from drive through, the lady at the end signaled to wait and my friend and I were confused on why she asked for that. We stayed at the delivery window for a minute and later we had to check again with her why ask us to wait - and then she said, you can go, there was nothing. The food was ok to fill the stomach.
