There is limited seating here and the inside could use an upgrade. But the carne asada burrito was delicious especially with the hot sauce. Chips were hard and wish there was actual salsa and not just hot sauce. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it. read more

Yum! Fixed my taco craving. Ordered takeout- a bean and cheese burrito, super taco, regular taco, and super burrito for $38. $4 and something per taco seemed a little steep but they are loaded! Tons of meat. The super taco was topped with a creamy guac which was really good. The carne asada, which I got well done, was nice and crispy. Delicious food, I just wish that they gave other salsa options. It's my first time trying so I thought there would be a few options in the bag but there was only a dark red one, which looked spicy but was on the milder side. This place is very small, with only a couple tables. When we ordered we could see everything being made fresh right behind the counter in their open kitchen. Staff were very friendly. Tip: when paying with card I was not given an option to leave a tip, so bring cash tips! read more

I had ate at the Eduardo taqueria on race st years ago and was expecting the same taste. Definitely my goto for burritos. You can see them making the carnitas in the copper pots. And when they fry the carnitas, it has a little crisp to it. They are quick and make them pretty hefty. I have to split the burrito in two and make two meals out of it. read more

After hiking I was ravenous and craving an authentic, old school burrito and Taqueria Eduardo popped up. Now, don't let the sketchy area deter you one bit, this taqueria lives up to its reputation! All the workers were hustling, cooking, cleaning, taking care of orders etc. Despite being busy, the man working (assume it's the owner?) was super courteous. Only $10.99 for a super veggie burrito. Now the food, it did live up to the hype and more. The burrito was massive. Next time I'll skip the sour cream because it was very messy & tricky to eat, probably ideal to wolfe it down at home in private haha. The red salsa was phenomenal. Service was top notch. Carne asada tacos have great flavor - maybe not 5/5 good, but these are some of the best tacos in West San Jose. They are also very hearty and filled with meat. Roughly ~$4 per taco. I've tried the pastor tacos, which have good flavor as well. Pretty standard hole in the wall restaurant, I personally prefer dining to go. Staff is nice, salsa/lime can be supplied as well at no extra charge. Neither red or green salsas are spicy, but both have good flavor. Okay so not gonna lie, I've only ever had Taqueria Eduardo when pretty to extremely hungover. But let me tell you, nothing hits quite like a carne asada burrito at 9am. The burritos here have saved my day a handful times. My go to is the super burrito, because what's a burrito without cheese and sour cream?!? I've gone with the carne asada and carnitas and both have been great. Burritos are BIG and loaded up with good ratios of all ingredients. A little greasy, so if you can contain your excitement might wanna wait until you get home to eat it. I've attempted to eat it at stop lights a few times, yet still haven't learned my lesson. Service is always friendly, sometimes food comes up quickly, other times it's a little bit of a wait, but hey the food is fresh at least! Only thing that would make this place better would be if they included chips with burritos. read more

My only regret is coming here so late, because I wasn't able to finish my massive, delicious burrito. Let me paint you a pretty picture: I once was a beautiful little boi and I worked out all the time, until one fateful day I was struck with a bit of bad luck, and now I am unable to have such a wild workout schedule. Not to mention COVID screwed everything up real good. THANKS A LOT, COVID. Anyway, I changed up my diet to have significantly fewer calories, so I can remain somewhat in shape. It's like Intermittent Fasting, but not AS bad. I'll eat breakfast and lunch, go heavy on 'em, and then I'll have a fruit/veggie smoothie for dindin around 17:00, and that'll be my last meal. Seems to be doing all for the time being. That being said, I now am unable to have large meals for dinner, because my stomach is accustomed to a different type of intake! First time visiting this taqueria, it's a small taqueria but the cashier was very nice and attentive. I ordered an al pastor super burrito and it came out quick. Good size, pretty thick, I was really hungry. Just a heads up, the al pastor was "bbq pork" on their menu and not "marinated pork" like at many taquerias. However, taking the first bite into the burrito the meat was flavorful. The pork wasn't marinated but it was crisp and again flavorful. The ingredients tasted fresh, good load of refried beans in there, and I got pretty full after. I would recommend this place and come back again! Solid 4/5. read more

If you're looking for that true hole-in-the-wall taco place in the South Bay, look no further and check out "Taqueria Eduardo". This place is an no-frills as you would expect; basic, cheap, and forgettable. That is except for the food which is over the top amazing. Located directly off of Winchester Blvd in the Campbell neighborhood of San Jose, this place is next to a McDonald's and neighbors a liquor store. Parking can be tricky since the lot is fairly small. I came here on the afternoon of Saturday 10/24/20. Upon entering, you will soon notice how small this place is. Even during the pre COVID-19 days, this place only seats just a few people. But with such tight restrictions on everything (as of 2020), everything here is strictly to-go/takeout. The menu is very straightforward as they have a nice variety of options including tacos, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas, tortas, nachos, and platillos. I ended up going the simple route by ordering two of their "Carne Asada Tacos" priced at a reasonable $2.50/each. I also ordered a Mexican "Horchata" drink priced at $2.80 for the large. It was quite busy when I came here which was around 3pm but service was above average and my tacos were ready in just a few minutes. Since there was nowhere to sit (they don't offer any type of outdoor seating), I ended up eating the tacos next to my car since I was starving plus they smelled so darn amazing. I must say, these things were packed with flavor. They also had a little bit of spice while they were very plentiful on the meat. And for $2.50, your money goes a long way with the portions here. All in all, "Taqueria Eduardo" is an excellent option for tasty, delicious, low-cost Mexican food. We all know a big city like San Jose has dozens of options to choose from let alone the entire Bay Area. But if you happen to visit the Winchester Mystery House (just a few minutes away), this is a great spot to snack on before or after your visit. My burrito was ordered and picked up at 11am. What i expected with an early morning order? freshly prepared food! What did I get? Tasted like yesterday's left over stale rice and leftover dry, greasy, crunchy and overcooked carnitas. I say overcooked because they must have been sitting in the heating pan for at least 24 or more hours. The carnitas grease which when fresh you don't notice, these certainly has a stale pork after taste which only can be noticed with old carnitas. As if old rice and carnitas isn't bad enough, i asked for refried beans but they missed them but wait... it does get worse because they doubled the rice and while I'm usually disappointed when a burrito's meat is skimpy, in the case more carnitas would've made this a horrible burrito. I was starving, so I had a few bites more than i should've and before i threw in the towel. This place has some great reviews but not sure why my experience was so bad. read more

I do love a bean and cheese burrito to full-fill my childhood nostalgia however I don't like one from here. The beans do have jalapeños in them which floats many boats just not mine. Depending on the location I order the taco salad I think the race street/bascom location does a better job when it comes to the taco salad personally it's very filling you got the rice, beans, cheese, meat, sour cream and that perfectly crunchy tortilla I ask for sliced avo. Chips are great at home after 1-2 min in the air fryer at 350. These spots are what makes the South Bay but they're sadly dwindling. Please choose Eduardo's over Chipotle. read more

The definition of a hidden gem! I ordered the regular carne asada burrito and was not disappointed; the meat was the balance of flavorful and crispy, the salsa was adequately proportioned and the price was right! They accept credit card (yay!) but do apply a 4% charge if you don't pay with cash which wasn't a huge shocker. When I went (around 5:30 on a Saturday), there were families eating and quite a few people picking up to go orders - I got the feeling this spot was a neighborhood fave.
