I really liked this store and it sucks that this Wendy's is now closed. I went there often and the staff was nice and my order was always excellent. The Doors were Locked at 8:15pm! The hours stated online say the dining area is open from 06:00am until 9:00pm. The drive-thru is also open during the same hours. I have been up since 03:30am, I worked all day and haven't had a hot meal because I didn't have time to stop during my busy schedule. I'm finally winding down, I'm craving a big delicious Wendy's burger and the LAZY employees decided to lock the doors nearly an hour earlier than the posted hours. The restaurant is located directly in the middle of three large truck stops .. those guys can't use the drive thru because the trucks won't fit. The majority of the business here is from the truckers being able to access the dining room / order counter. If I were the owner of the Wendy's here, I would fire the shift supervisor and hire someone with some dedication to their job. read more

I'm currently sitting at the Wendy's and my son told me I needed to leave a 5 star review. This place is clean and the bathrooms are decent. My son ordered a hamburger and Dad forgot to add the bacon. Dad went back to order the bacon and they kindly made crispy bacon just for my son and he was a happy camper. We've been here a couple of times and it's always pretty solid. In fact, the workers are nice and helpful. The food is consistent and quickly served. I don't know why this place gets negative reviews. It's Wendy's- not a Michelin star restaurant. read more

Wish I count give negative stars giving 1 as no other option We were were inside before close and asked the staff if we order and eat inside they said yes before closing you can once we ordered and got our food we were told you cannot eat inside dinning is closed and they would not give our bags kept on their side of counter till we said we need our food we paid for it We had our friends with us who was refused to as well and were told that cash register inside is closed to go through drive through to order we asked if they can order an eat inside they said yes but their attitude changed when they were giving food to us in bags and said to takeaway food Staff should have just simpler before ordering told us dinning inside is closed only takeout can be done There was one persons who was served after our order on the table and he kept eating inside way past their close time The food was dry burgers fries and nuggets had some smell we tried a bit and had to through all 8 meals we got due to foul smell did not wanted to fall sick Now we know why they didn't wanted use to eat inside as they didn't cook food properly or had to use stale food to serve had we had inside we would have questioned them on quality of food The staff needs training and learn courtesy towards their customers as their salaries are from the sales to the customers and profits that the stores make If they are out of fresh food they should state in the beginning that certain type of food is not there vs taking order and serving stale or bad food making people sick Will not recommend anyone rather go to McDonald's or In And Out if you need good burgers and they have respectful staff we have tried all 3 stores in this stop and also Taco Bell they are awesome people working there and keep the quality of food to the top level And that is what we did got fresh food from a McDonald's and was good food and service I will not recommend this Wendy to anyone save money and your honor by not going to this location actually Wendy's should look into this matter and educate their employees I have logged official complaint with them as well hoping for some response and resolution read more

The food was great. It was so fresh and hot I had to eat my frosty while my burger and fries cooled. The staff were fast and friendly too. The only down side was the carpet needed cleaned, but that is usual for a place along the freeway. Lots of traffic makes it hard to keep a clean floor. read more

We normally go to In N Out when we travel on I-5, but wanted to try another burger place. Stopped here and ordered a single cheeseburger $5.99, a Big Bacon Classic $6.99 and a Bourbon bacon cheeseburger $6.29. The service was fast, but their food needs help. The burgers don't look like what their picture shows. My Bourbon bacon cheeseburger was small, flat and not filling. Pretty sad for how much it cost. It was getting late and we were charging our Tesla at the nearby Supercharger (behind Pea Soup Andersen's Restaurant). The kids were hungry and the only option they would be interested in that was still open was Wendy's for their chicken nuggets. We convinced our son to have their chicken tenders which are probably a little bit higher quality than the nuggets. My daughter was adamant about the nuggets. Okay, as long as she ate something. I walked over to buy the food. After ordering I sat at a table to wait. The dining area was an absolute mess. The floor was covered in fries, overturned ketchup cups, straws, lettuce, etc. I might have left without ordering if I had seen this first. The food was ready within about 5 minutes and I quickly headed back to the car as the charging was nearly complete and there had developed a line of cars waiting to plug in. After opening the bag we found that instead of 4 nuggets and 4 tenders there were two bags of 4 nuggets. So basically we were shortchanged on the (very simple) order. My bbq burger was decent, so I will give them 2 stars but I will try my best to avoid this location in the future. read more

I am posting a picture to validate this review. I am not from this area, only stopped by on my 10 hour drive to Oregon. I ordered chili. I got about 1/3 through and felt something foreign in my throat. I gagged it back up and spit it out. I thought it was some sort of twig and I took a picture of it. I lost my appetite and I did not bring it to the staff's attention because at that time I thought it was just a twig...or maybe I was trying to convince myself. Looking at the picture later, it clearly looks like a partial skeleton of some sort. Remembering it in my throat, it makes sense. I am completely grossed out. I will report this to the corporate office and send them the picture as well. I don't want anything other for them to investigate to ensure this doesn't happen again. I am done with Wendy's. The women's restroom one sink was out of service and there wasn't even hand sanitizer. I don't feel safe eating at a restaurant where you can't wash your hands after using the restroom. Arrived at the drive thru at 9:55. Waited for a worker to as my order and no one said anything until 9:59 and told me they " just closed". Ridiculous!!! There are other places around to eat but my son loves Wendy's so we went. I will never come back this was an very upsetting experience for my son. Thanks a lot. It took 18 minutes to get a junior cheeseburger and a 1/2 lb regular burger and it wasn't really that busy. The place was hot; maybe they should invest in either air conditioning or windows that open. The bathroom was nasty. I flushed and the urinal overflowed (not because of me). One major improvement since one of the previous reviews is that they have a new fly zapper, so no flies. Overall, I think I'm going to Anderson's next time. We picked Wendy's. I haven't been in a Wendy's in a long time. D. got a grilled chicken sandwich & 3 of us got it. It was a very salty chicken breast w/ one slice of lousy tomato, some lettuce, mayo, buns. I found it barely edible. Bad service, old fries, ketchup pump empty, bathroom out of service for cleaning for an extended period. Asked for my frosty to be delivered after the meal, it was delivered with the meal. Asked for the meal to go it was delivered in a bag instead of on a tray. Both of these items were corrected after I asked - along with a big dose of BAD attitude. Some kind of little bug flying around my table. Lots of socializing between staff members. Customers feel left out. I like Wendy's. That is why I stopped here. It was one of those stops that I had to make after driving 3 hrs non-stop from Valencia to this town. Yes I am sure there are a lot of different OTHER fast food, could be better or could be worse, but I picked Wendy's because I haven't had it in awhile.... I also had to pee... good thing they don't lock their bathrooms, it's pretty clean for a fast food joint. Their prices are meh, but I got the chicken nuggets and my friend got a medium spicy chicken burger with fries and a drink. I just don't like how they ask you what size you want, it's kind of annoying. Their dining area is clean, there aren't any flies like some of the Wendy's I've been to. Soooo horrible! This is one of those instances where I wish "0 stars" was an option. This is the Wendy's located in the same general area as Pea Soup Anderson's. It was gonna be our last pit/food/gas stop before making it home from our loooong day driving from Oceanside. We honed in on Wendy's based on the excellent one near our home in Sacramento which is ALWAYS great. However, that assumption was buffoonery on our part... It took FOREVER to get our food, which we were gonna forgive since a lot of people walked in at the same time. Plus, we thought then at least our food would be hot and freshly prepared...WRONG ON BOTH ACCOUNTS! 1. The fries were limp and barely warm, like they'd been sitting under a warming light for hours. 2. The horribly-thin, dried out piece of grilled chicken that was in my asiago chicken flatbread had obviously been sitting for a while. 3. The mother-in-law's spicy chicken patty was so dried out, thin, and flavorless that she refused to eat it and demanded her money back. 4. Even the sodas had a funny taste, like they hadn't bother to clean the soda heads in a decade. 5. I didn't go into the ladies restroom, but we could see into the men's when someone walked in, and it looked disgusting and obviously hadn't been cleaned this year. 6. The dining area was a icky; used napkins on tables, seats, and on the floor. Tables in disarrary and in dire need of wiping. I don't know what was going on, but I will NEVER go to this Wendy's again, and highly suggest that none of you do, especially with so many other options in the area. read more

Irrationally, I love Wendy's. I discovered it on a road trip and now we plan our driving stops around the exits that have Wendy's. This location seemed fine to me, I don't understand the bad reviews. Our food was prepared quickly, exactly as ordered, friendly staff, great parking, no problems. I always get the #1, quarter pounder with fries and a drink. I LOVE their fries AND I love that Wendy's doesn't make my stomach hurt 30 minutes after eating. :) read more

It was decent, completely worked for my needs and dietary goals. This fast food joint gets treated like most of them -- people stop in and use it, use the bathrooms and then move on.
