I recently placed a mobile order at this Wendy's location before work and had a concerning experience while waiting for my food. While standing inside the restaurant, I noticed that the employees preparing food were not wearing gloves. One of the cooks lifted his hat and rubbed the top of his head, briefly walked to the back, and then returned to continue handling food without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Unfortunately, the food being prepared at that time ended up being my order. Due to these sanitation concerns, I chose to leave without taking the food. Food safety and proper hygiene practices are extremely important, especially when handling ready-to-eat meals. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures proper food handling procedures are followed in the future. read more

Then they said they don't know how to fix that because the new manager broke down the line super early. How about not breaking down the line super early? What has happened since June at this location!? Never had an issue with our orders, now not only does it take forever they mess up your order.... mind you we are the only ones in drive thru & what seemed to be the manager took, the order only to forget half our order (and later to find out she screwed those up by putting mayo on burgers when we specifically said no mayo.) When we backed up to window, she was texting & very put out when we told her items were missing. She looks at monitors and tells us, "you're right, I forgot that." Another 10+ minute wait. I had some family in from out of the country and was giving them the Texas tour. We found this Wendy's on our way to the Natural Bridge Caverns. We arrived pretty early in the morning and the parking lot was pretty empty as well as the drive thru. It took awhile for us to be acknowledged even though there were plenty of employees working. When we did get service, we did get friendly service. Half our group wanted coffee with our meals and they told us they did not have enough ready. I don't understand how you can have breakfast service and not have coffee being continuously made. Then the food took forever to come out and when it did, it came out very staggered. We had everyone finishing up their meals while some were still getting their food. It also made what was supposed to be a quick stop longer than expected. Wendy's has a solid fast food breakfast and we did enjoy the food. I'll skip this place next time I am passing through the area. read more

Stopped for lunch and got an insane amount of attitude when I asked for my burger a certain way, didn't care to mark down my sauce, made my burger completely wrong, and gave me MORE attitude when I had to go back to ask for ketchup and BBQ sauce. I just went through the drive through at Wendy's on 3009. I waited in the drive through line for 20 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me. I finally went inside to pick up my salad. I was told they were backed up because they only had three people working. I asked if the salads were not pre made and was told they had to be prepared. I complained about the wait time. The gal went to the back, brought a pre packaged salad, poured a sauce in a cup, packaged it and handed me the bag. I paid and went outside. There were 5 cars waiting at the order window. I wish I could leave a proper review but I couldn't even order! The poor cashier had zero support from her coworkers and was busy fulfilling mobile orders when we approached the counter. She was very sweet and apologetic. But the gentleman who appeared to be the manager couldn't be bothered to either A) acknowledge mine or my boyfriend's presence B) help the cashier. After awkwardly standing at the counter for over 5 minutes I spoke up and asked if we were going to be helped and the gentleman, who wasn't doing anything of importance, said sorry there's one person working the register we'll be right with you. At that point a line was forming behind us and my bf and I looked at each and laughed and just left. Needless to say I'm glad we didn't stick around after reading all the negative reviews! read more

I should have looked at these reviews before going here. I went inside and skipped the 10 car+ wait at the drive-thru at 1:15 on a Sunday. I ordered a combo including a double with cheese (extra tomatoes, no onions), a baked potato and large drink. I was surprised at how fast my order was ready and felt smug about all those people still waiting in the drive-thru line. So far I've only gotten to the burger, but it was terrible!! They gave me no tomatoes and extra onions, the patty was incredibly dry, kinda crunchy, barely lukewarm and felt like something from last week. My dog wouldn't even eat it and that's saying something because he eats his own poop. I put the baked potato away because I didn't even want to see how they screwed that up. They actually managed to get my diet Dr. Pepper correct. Wow. I've recently moved here from Austin and the Wendy's I went to at least once a week there never got my order wrong and the food was always hot and amazing. This franchise needs a real makeover and I will not be back until that happens. read more

Stopped here this evening and went through the drive-up. When I got to the window, the gal (who had a ring in her nose ... probably so they can put something through it and guide her around) who took my money and supplied change was rude, had the personality of a turnip and the service acumen of an oyster. Honestly, she should be fired. Any employee that condescending, rude or sour destroys a business's reputation and drives customers to competitors. The lady taking orders in the dine counter has a very snarky smart ass attitude this evening that did not impress me one bit. Come in to the Wendy's to get a pumpkin spice frosty. Ordered and payed for it. As she was being it to me she was putting a lid on it. I then I said i don't need a lid. She then at that point looked at me and said o you don't need a lid. And I said no. Then she tilts hers head sideways smiles at me and says o well then finishes putting it on. I then said ma'am that is very inappropriate customer service there. And I then I informed her that I worked at fast food myself for a couple of years about year or so ago and told her if I had pulled that type of stunt to a customer i would get in trouble. So what does she do? She giggles a little then smiles at me and sarcastically says sorry. The worst about that is the manager was standing right behind her and didn't even say anything to her and didn't even apologize to me either meaning that the manager doesn't see anything wrong with that nasty customer service. That lady has a snarky smart ass attitude and again it didn't impress me one bit. And that type of behavior should not be accepted at all by any customer service place because that's away to chase off customers. And as I am leaving I can see her standing in the kitchen playing on her phone instead of doing anything productive while there is a customer in the lobby. It was not a typical mealtime when I went. It was around 3:00pm, so it was not busy. The store looked clean inside. I assumed that this Wendy's would be fast and efficient. I was wrong. The cashier was flustered and overwhelmed despite there being few people in the store. We asked for chicken but got beef burgers in our meal deal and did not get our drinks. Upon asking for our drinks, the cashier asked us what size drinks normally come in those meal deals because she did not know. I did not ask for the right order after seeing that we got the wrong order. I did not want to add to the stress because the problem was not the cashier. Instead, the problem seems to be a lack of training. It is unfair to employ people and leave them to their own devices. It causes unneeded stress and inevitable issues for the customer. read more

Their food is always good but the customer service is awful. My son amd Husband went to go order breakfast this morning. He tried ordering 6 Bacon egg and cheese biscuits and six sausage egg and cheese biscuits. The lady was very rude when she told him that there was a limit and then when he got home they didn't even give them everything in the order. And we live kind of far from the Wendy's so he wasn't able to go and drive back right away. And then when I tried to call to let them know about the error they never answer their phones. I've called at least eight times and no one ever answers. Wendy's breakfast is my favorite so that's what I wanted for Mother's Day and they didn't even end up putting everything in the order like they were supposed to.The ladies in tue drive thru always seem mad amd upset and arent very nice to customers. read more

Went to the Drive-Thru on October 4, 2017 at 9:58pm. The girl working the drive-thru window is laughing, giggling and making other comments on the drive-thru speaker when I was trying to place my order. Then she's yelling in the speaker when I told her I wanted a #8 Combo of which I had to tell her three times what I wanted and every time she repeated my order wrong, a whole lot of giggling continues as she asks me, "Is that a cricket?" Every time we've come to this location, the food has always been good. We'll actually drive an extra 5-10 miles to come to this location rather than the one in New Braunfels because of the freshness of the food, cleanliness of the eating area and all of the employees are much attentive and nice. Their restrooms could use a lot more attention because they're always filthy. Other than the restroom issue, this is a pretty clean location. I'd recommend anyone come here to eat. read more

Incredibly clean inside of the store, and the food they served was very fresh. This Wendy's looks a lot different than what it used to look like, and it's definitely for the better. We enjoyed taking some time and dining in, it was very pleasant because of the "modern" atmosphere. They also have electric fireplaces... definitely a first for me to see in a fast food restaurant. Check your bill. I ordered several items and 2 were not available however they did not update my bill and charged me more than they should of. Didn't have the best experience through the drive thru . It took almost 20 minutes. Once I got to the window there was no urgency from the employees. I asked if I could use my phone to pay and was told no because she didn't want to break my phone. Hopefully it's a better experience next time I use the drive thru. read more

This Wendy's was just newly remodeled in the past couple of weeks and failed to install a baby changing table into their restrooms. That's very unrealistic and not family friendly for a public restaurant. When I tried to suggest to the restaurant staff member named Krystal at the front that they should add that accommodation for their family customers she laughed at me and walked away. That was so disrespectful and unprofessional, especially working as a cashier that's the face of the restaurant and needs to act as so. I will never be returning to this Wendy's and giving my money to such a rude and thoughtless establishment. For anybody reading this just letting you know not to waste your time at this place, there is a whatabuger right next door and a KFC next to that.
