And there is a drive through at the restaurant and like I said it is not the best one out there but you should try it and those pictures are fake. I never seen bugs in my food or anything. Late night Wendy's, I stopped here on my way north from Baltimore towards Harrisburg. The store wasn't too busy at 8:00 PM but it filled up a bit for some reason. My triple Baconator was delicious. On a keto eating program, this sort of thing is excellent - meat, bacon, cheese, fat. Just dump the bun and have them hold the ketchup. Eat with knife and fork, though I understand that they'll wrap it in lettuce if you ask them to. The restaurant was clean, they do have a Coke Freestyle machine here. It's A-OK. Literally the nicest staff I have ever seen at a Wendy's! Highly recommend this location! I came 10 min before closing and they still very happily with smiles on their faces made me fresh fries. I did feel bad I didn't realize what time they were closing but to still provide excellent customer service minutes before they get to go home says enough about how great the staff is! Absolutely horrible service. We came In 20 minutes before the lobby closed. The store itself does not close for another 2 1/2 hours. Blonde lady was the one to take our order. She seems like the manager due to her freaking out at us coming in because she already had closed the registers even though it was 20 minutes till closing. The food was not horrible but I would not be surprised if they spat or messed with it in anyway. Overall: 4.5 stars It seems like the people who gave this Wendy's 1 or 2 stars have unrealistic expectations of fast food restaurants. Wendy's consistently stands out above the pack from other national, lower-priced burger-based fast food restaurants, and this Wendy's in Shrewsbury, PA is no exception. Employees are very friendly, representative of the small town. My food orders with modifications have always come out correctly. All the value offers such as the 4 for $4 and the 2 for $5 or the $5 biggie bags are all available here. Reason for not being 5 stars is because this location badly needs a renovation. Big pothole in the drive-thru lane in the parking lot. Other Wendy's in the region have already received their renovations, so hopefully this one will soon too. Also, during COVID when limited indoor dining was still allowed, the fancy soda fountain with the touchscreen often malfunctioned or was out of syrup. read more

Wendy's used to be my go-to place for a quick meal while I was out and about. I will still go there if I want their Spicy Chicken Sandwich, that I think is the best around town. Wendy's has gotten so expensive for fast food. I also like their Dave's Single Cheeseburger. Their toppings are always fresh and the food is always hot, with the exception of the fries, when on a couple of occasions they were barely warm and even cold. By the time you add a drink to the combo meal, your spending approximately $10/person and that's not including a Frosty, if you order one or more. The drive through window is fast and efficient. Make sure you check the bag for spoons for Frostys and napkins or ask. I said in the first paragraph that Wendy's used to be my go-to place, that was before the Burger King opened down the street. I really like Burger King's Whopper with Cheese, however I don't like the extra calories, compared to Wendy's meals. I read the other reviews about Wendy's and disagree with their impressions. Maybe their experiences were the exception to the rule, but I've eaten at Wendy's enough times to know that they are consistent. I like the drive through better than eating inside so I am a little biased. With all that said, I would still recommend choosing Wendy's for a quick bite to eat, if you don't mind their prices (Burger King pricing is equivalent). read more

Absolutely horrible service. The man tried to talk us out of eating inside because they were closing "soon". (In 30 mins). He locked the doors 15 mins prior to closing time and had to unlock them for us to leave. He put up all the chairs 15 mins prior to closing. After we walked out at exactly 9:00 he even completely turned off all the lights on a man still inside eating. He was very rude and not helpful at all. Before my latest experience at this Wendy's, I already knew they were one of the slowest I've ever been to. Despite telling my friend this, he still wanted to stop in just to get a few things off the dollar menu. We were both starving, but considering the place was empty, we figured it couldn't be that long right? Well we were wrong. We got in line and there was only one group of 2 people in front of us and no one in drive through. After they ordered their food, I thought they were going to take our orders and have them both in the system to work on all the orders at once; you know like every other fast food place worth it's salt would do. Yet they didn't even acknowledge us standing there. Ok, so maybe they were just gonna serve the people in front of us first, shouldn't be that long right? Wrong. 15 minutes pass, 20 minutes pass and we're still at the front of the line and have yet to order. I look at my friend and he asks if I want to leave. I immediately oblige and we drove up to one of the many other fast food places and had food within 5 minutes of walking in. I seriously don't get this Wendy's location. Not even getting our orders in the system was annoying but even if they wanted to serve the ones who just ordered first, taking 20 minutes for a few items in a fast food restaurant is completely unacceptable. read more
