They sell that "Frosty Pass" yet when you mention you have it... they are suddenly out of Frostys. This location probably will close soon. You can see why Wendy's is a mess. As a fast food place, it's nothing to write home about. The food is greasy and small, the size always going down as the years go on. Staff are rude and unhelpful, best to just order online and pickup in store. The ambiance is filled with unsupervised teens swearing's and making a mess. This is just on Wendy's drive thru. I came because I was starving, and the sign stood out from the road. It turned out to be a small stand alone building in a larger parking lot. You can hear the music from the car wash next door, which was kind of nice. The employees were quick, and the food was exactly as you ordered and would expect from a Wendy's. The parking lot could use a good clean-up day, although that is probably not exclusively the fault of Wendy's customers. read more

Customer service is awful. Food is good but either you don't get a tomato slice or you don't get lettuce. All Dave's burgers come with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions and I bought 2 Dave's doubled and one of them has a tiny bite of lettuce, another on had no lettuce. Every time I go though drive thru the burger are just slopped together and something is always missing on them. read more

It's fast food, so expectations are low, but Wendy's does make a pretty decent burger. This location is in a stand-alone building and shares a parking lot with Goodwill and Job Lot. The staff are extremely rude and prefer to chat with each other or on their phones than helping out customers or clean. The dining room looks to be newly remodeled, but it isn't kept clean. The soda dispenser was horrific! My feet stick to the floor and whenever I've been there, there are fans trying to dry the floor rather than mop them. The kids and I ordered from the Wendy's app while traveling from Canton to New Haven. We just wanted to grab a quick lunch and figured the mobile app was the way to go. When we got to the window we were asked to pull ahead and park for a few mins. That turned into 20 minutes. At least 4 cars came and went while we sat there waiting. It wasn't a huge order so I have no idea what the hold up was. Just 3 value meals. Nothing extra, no substitutions etc. The food itself was pretty good. The pretzel bun is my favorite. I ordered a single burger but got a double, which is nothing to complain about, but hopefully they didn't mix it up with someone else's, who would have been very disappointed. read more

Wow. I cannot believe the difference. A few short years ago, I had one of the worst experiences at this Wendy's that rendered them untrustworthy and unable to provide decent food. This is such an opposite experience. I ordered a special order with a bunch of changes on my Baconator through Doordash- it was followed perfectly. It arrived 20 minutes later perfectly hot and delicious, and better quality than I ever expected. It rivaled many sit-down restaurants. Wendy's has won me back, easily. read more

We stopped here on our way home from Maine to PA for a quick lunch. The women behind the counter were so friendly & on top of things, and it was the lunch rush, but everything was fresh, hot, & timely. We had 6 people in our group, and they got all of our orders exactly right, including the dipping sauce for the chicken nuggets. When we told them we wanted it to go, they gave each meal its own bag (sandwich/nuggets + fries) so it was SO convenient to divy everything up in the car so we could get back on the road. Cheap and quick I seldom go to Wendy's or it's close rivals but sometimes when I'm in a hurry, traveling, or in a strange place it's either that or go hungry. This Wendy's is right on the main road through Southington and was easily seen and accessible so we decided it was better than going hungry. The food was exactly what we expected except that one of my friends got some new things called a gouda burger and gouda fries. She said that they were all right but couldn't really taste the gouda part of the burger, whatever that was. The rest of the burgers and fries were all right but definitely not anything like higher priced burgers and fries. The burgers were sort of crushed and the buns and stuff inside all mushy. Edible but certainly not appetizing. The fries themselves were decent but absolutely saturated with salt. The high point was the frosty. These things are pretty good, not DQ Blizzard or good milk shake good, but helps the rest of the stuff go down. The service was good, prices cheap and it didn't take very long to get our stuff. This particular Wendy's seemed no better or worse than the other Wendy's I've been in. I certainly won't go out of my way to find another one but when I'm starving and nothing else is around it'll do. read more

The old saying - "you get what you pay for" - applies to my experience even after considering we had a BOGO coupon. My wife and I each ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken breast was of good size, but lacked any discernible grill markings or flavor. The roll was fresh, the tomato slice was of the winter variety (i.e. no flavor) and the lettuce was the nutrient deficient iceberg. Honey mustard sauce was liberally applied, but tasted pretty bland. I was going here regularly for a while because it's one of the few places in the area that's open late for when i get out of work late. But it's terrible. They always sound like they're having a laughing fit/ heart attack/ god knows what on the intercom in the drive-thru. They mess up orders constantly, don't give you napkins or a spoon if you order chili. They also never seem to have anything ready so you end up waiting a decade for your food. Fries are either cold, soggy, or both. Skip it. read more

I recently decided that I wanted to try their new Asiago Chicken Ranch Club sandwich. Despite my abysmal previous experience, I wasn't about to drive over to the next town just for a Wendy's sandwich. I can't say that the experience was any better this time around, but at least it hasn't gotten worse. When I got home with my takeout order, I found that the ACRC sandwiches that I had ordered were just the standard homestyle chicken sandwiches. No bacon, no ranch, no Asiago cheese. The drinks I ordered (2 Dr. Pepper, 1 Coke) somehow all tasted the same. No, I didn't screw it up - this is one of those places where the drink dispensers are behind the counter. Unless you really, really want a Wendy's sandwich, my advice would be to skip this place and go to one of the many other fast food or casual restaurants on Queen Street. read more

I've eaten at this Wendy's probably a half dozen times on various road trips between Boston and points west, and I'd say it's perfectly fine, even slightly above average. The food and service are always good, and it has normal prices and a real dollar menu - not a guarantee when traveling in these parts. read more

Coke is a watered down mess. wendy's is on the expensive side for fast food and this is just not worth it. I sent my complaints in after spending almost $30 for dinner for my family and receiving maybe $12 in edible food. I have never written a review before but I can't believe how inept this Wendy's is. the last two times I went they gave me the wrong order, even when the person taking the order had it right on the screen. they have also made mistakes is the past. I will never go back there again. I went out in the snow today and didn't check my order before I left, what a mistake. there was no one else in line, it's hard to believe how they couldn't get it right. well my kid won't eat it and I'm not going back out in the snow storm, but I won't be going back to Wendy's anytime soon. read more

Believe it or not, this place has gotten better since it opened. I went on opening day and tried to order... Ever see the Monty Python "Cheese Shop" sketch? That's pretty much how it went. Everything I ordered they didn't have. When I finally broke down and asked what they did have, they told me my choices were: Chili or Baked Potato.. But if I wanted a Potato, I would have to wait 20 minutes as they were being shuttled in by car. Apparently all of the kitchen equipment was still not working and the owner decided to open anyway. It wont let me give zero stars, which is what this location deserves. This Wendy's is terrible. Forget about the long waits and the sub-par food. Manager as well as staff cannot speak or understand English. Place is absolutely filthy, sticky floors, dirty tables. This is not my first visit here, although visits are few and far between, and I am not basing this off one visit. The problems I've encountered are consistent each visit. However today had an added bonus. The manager had her two young children sitting at a table in the lobby, apparently without a sitter. She was more focused on them than the fact that her store was in shambles. Before we left the awful experience behind one customer complained to the cashier about his long wait before being acknowledged and another was looking irritated and asking for the manager at the counter. This place is going to make someone very ill one day. I just returned from here and had fries that were still frozen in my bag. This prompted me to throw all my food away out of fear of illness. There is a portrayed sense of apathy from the kitchen and a lot of standing around is going on as well as trash everywhere in the kitchen even on the counter where sandwiches are being made. I just moved from Atlanta to the area and know 1st hand that this is not close to Wendy's standards since Atlanta used to be Wendy's home base. The reason service is slow here is b/c there is a lack of leadership that demands excellence and eagerness to serve. Wendy's corporate needs to come in and do something here fast before the brand is tarnished badly. Sadly, this is the worst Wendy's I have ever been in.
