I am not a fan of writing reviews on Chain Fast Food places. However, after reading the reviews I thought it was appropriate to make some observations. One thing people have to remember, the "crews" at fast food places change very often for a variety of reasons. You might have a fantastic crew and the food is outstanding one week. You go to the same place a week later, the crew changed and now it sucks swamp water. I was having new tires installed on my car and I it was going to take about an hour. The closes "food" was a convenience store and Wendy's. I ordered the "The W" combo. They claim it is named after "Wendy's" but the rumor is, it is named after President George W. Bush. I also ordered the the fresh cut fries, and a large Coke. Let's start with the appearance. How many times have you order something at a fast food and in the promo pictures is looks delicious and once you open the wrapper it looks like something the cat dragged in. OMG!! The "W" looked exactly like the picture in the wall. Actually, the presentation was better. The fries, same story. Both the "W" and the fries were piping hot. I wish I had taken a picture. Next, the important thing. Taste. Wow. The W is seasoned to perfection to be fast food. The "special sauce" was pretty good. I would not spoiled it by adding ketchup. The fries had enough salt to satisfy someone in a low salt diet, beside it is easier to add salt than to remove it from fries. Finally, Service. The service was good. I went on a Sunday afternoon around 2:00PM and they had 7 people working. They were well coordinated and friendly. Overall it was a really good experience. Much better than in the McDonald across the interstate. If you are at NTB in Newington waiting for your tires to be installed, I recommend you visit this Wendy's. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. On multiple occasions I have been in the drive thru over 30 minutes and after seeing long line have went inside to stand at the counter and was ignored until I left. You could make an arguement that it is because of covid and they have a lack of help. Well there was 8 people behind the counter so something should have been going right. This your typical Wendy's fast food joint with their regular brand menu and special offerings. Wendy's actually used to be my favorite fast-food/junk-food eatery! As an occasional junk food eater I've over the years dutifully tried and enjoyed almost everything on their menu at least once. Somehow I don't think they're as good as they once were - in general. So as to make it easy to gage each of these places, when I do try them, I've devised a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being outright down and dirty nasty, and 5 being the best a fast food joint can be! I gage: cleanliness; service; product quality and consistency; convenience; accessibility; taste and the personnel's attitude and customer service level. This place scores 3.0 of 5. I may/may not come back here and don't recommend it! One last thing, it appears to us that their chicken is no longer of the quality we enjoyed - their chicken's taste and texture is of cardboard, and the products are getting smaller, yet more expensive! read more

You might be confused by this establishment when you first walk in by all the middle eastern people working behind the counter. You would have thought you were walking into a Moby Dicks or something. I personally love it. The manager guy is so animated and hilariously funny when yelling at his staff, as they roll their eyes at him, its like dinner and a show. Friendly, quick staff, especially seeing how busy it gets during lunch rush. Food is good too. read more

I work nearby and this food is consistently good, which is key for fast food. The staff handles high volumes very well. The building is nice. The interior dinning is at a higher standard than most Wendy's. read more

Cold fries, bleh chicken sandwhich and the staff don't look like they wanna spend one more minute there. It's next to a nail salon and a gas station. Parking is fine if there's not more than 3 or 4 other cars. It's open till 11 p.m. Mon - Sat It has WiFi but it didn't work at all one time and boots you a lot when it does work There's 1 wall socket if you need to plug your phone or laptop. I really don't get Wendy's t.v. it shows short clips of shows with volume so low you can barely hear with no captions, what's the point? read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE Wendy's! The place is full of garbage and straight out of the 90's. In line, the middle aged man says "what do you want". Extremely rude and unprofessional establishment. Ranch wasn't refrigerated and was sickly warm. Fries were a pile of mush, and the nuggets were stale. Hopefully corporate will come soon to refurbish everything here! I stop at this Wendy's frequently. My usual is a large chili from the drive thru. My only complaint--and this seems to be a consistent problem with them, judging from other reviews--is that this place is so sloooow. I like the dining area remodel on the inside but they need to do something about getting their process to move quicker. That applies to drive thru and inside the restaurant. read more

Well, I have officially given up on this location. I've driven through four times over the last couple of weeks and on three of those occasions my order has either been incorrect or missing part of it. The people who work there are always super friendly and apologetic but at some point you think they'd start doing the job correctly. I wonder how much money they lose on giving the wrong food. This location is just like the others. Appearance of staff and building is good. Restrooms clean and ready for use. The only thing that gets me is they continue to have flies and I do not see a wall mounted zapper. Review updated July 14, 2018; lunch time: coming several times a month about same time. Food seems to be on point. That is only bc the back of the house is slow so the food has to be fresh. Always a line building up. So there isn't speed and efficiency to get their customers order out enough. It looks like drive thru gets priority over walk-ins. Forever waiting for food. Looks like in front of big flat panel tv has 4 USB ports and outlet. The bar seating in front of window also has outlets and usb. I would say if you really need to charge; do it only while your here eating. Don't be like the people sitting in Starbucks taking up the tables and using the free WiFi where it can easily be hacked. This place took rudeness to a whole nother level. Seriously whoever the manager is at this location needs to speak with the young woman working at the drive-thru window she was the most unprofessional fast food worker I've ever dealt with. No greeting hands you the food drops the money and then asks you to get more money when you say thank you turns her back to you, look I get it it's fast food we're not trying to be treated like kings but at least be pleasant, the food is what you'd expect from any other Wendy's the professionalism of the employees way worse read more

3 people ahead of me inside trying to pay for lunch but credit card machine went down, Indian woman says no cash no food, okay 3 military guys leave. Best Wendy's experience and food that I have had in many years. I try to steer clear of fast food but I was on a time crunch today and decided to swing by. The lady working the drive thru was very polite and nice. The line was fast and I received my food fast. I almost forgot to mention my order was CORRECT! This seems to be rare how a days. read more

I've been here a few times during lunch because I'm so close to it, but my experiences here have not been the best. Their fries were really salty and my burger was not freshly made, I could tell it had been sitting under the lamp for a while. However, it's Wendy's, just not the best one. read more

We've eaten there before and the service was slow even the it was practically empty. Just tried to stop by since we were in the area and hungry. Entering the shopping center took about 3 minutes to go 300 feet because people we backed up and one driver wasn't paying attention and almost hit me. While walking up we saw an employee walking through the parking lot to bring a bag of food to an annoyed looking customer who was walking to his car. When we got inside, we saw a few people waiting for their food and a moderate line waiting to order. All of them looked upset with arms crossed, etc. We took it all in for a minute and I asked one of the guys waiting for food if the service was being slow and he returned a smirk and said "pretty much." I was there not too long ago, the food was great but the employees seemed a bit serious and unhappy.. I thought to myself "why do you work here if you hate it?" but then I saw a female manager yelling at them and she called them IDIOTS! I have never seen such a horrible thing in my life. And they all just bowed their heads and seemed to take it. I wanted to say something myself but my fiancé advised me not to as "it is not of my concern" but to he'll with that, that was unfair and someone simply MUST speak out for those workers. I've worked at a Mcdonalds in my younger years, so I know how it is to work hard for your money.. But to take someone insulting me, on top of a minimum wage job? Just went through the drive through around 11:40, so I understand it's a late night. I got a combo without Mayo, and was given her fries and a fresh burger, but with mayo. I went through the line again, hating to be that guy, but the staff apologized right away with a fresh burger without this time, hot and fresh. I applaud the late night crew for their service. They get 5 stars from me because of the very nice way the manager treated us more than a year ago when we were walking our puppies ( a husky and yorkie) and we asked for water for them :) We will continue to be frequent customers and patronize this Wendy's. read more
