Pleasantly surprised with Wendy's breakfast this morning! I didn't know they had breakfast, but saw an ad online and decided to give them a shot since there was one nearby. I ordered the maple bacon chicken croissant and potatoes. Both came out hot and were tasty! I was pleased that my food wasn't greasy, and I didn't feel terrible afterward. The restaurant itself was nice, but the floors were kind of sticky--not too bad, though. I'll return for breakfast another time! I enjoyed ordering from the kiosk too! It was very fast. -Parking: it was ok, and there were plenty of spots. The spots are on the narrow side, so if you drive a truck, be prepared to get closer to other cars, than you're probably comfortable with. -COVID 19 motivation stuff: Masks, hand sanitizer provided, and social distancing in effect (not sure if enforced). read more

I decided today was the day for a Wendy's burger and a little treat! I ordered and they made exactly what I wanted with a single mishap. The employees were all very nice and professional. You don't see that to often . My food came to me with a smile and a thank you! Now wait let me just let you also know my fries were hot! Yessss!! This Wendy's is the absolute worst they take mobile orders and then lock the restaurant and make you sit in the drive-through line with everybody else for 15 minutes to get your order. I have worked in food service for 6 years so I understand the kitchen dynamic and how things work with pest control and precaution. I ordered a ton of food here for dinner last night, for myself and my two year old. Everything was average to be expected from fast food. Today a heated up a burger, taken straight from the aluminum Wendy's wrapper and in the center of that burger, after eating half, I found an dead adult fly inside one of the onion rings on the burger..... this tells me two things; 1: the onion rings are not made fresh (or well, the one I pulled out and how I found the fly was the papery onion peel) and 2: Those onion rings are sitting out uncovered until they are used, in the temperature danger zone for food borne illness bacterial growth. This also tells me the workers assembling these products are hurried and not paying attention. I'm disturbed I fed my son food from this place and will not be returning. The abundance of options in the Gandy area means this location needs to step it up or face closing down. read more

Service was terrible. Food was poorly package and they got my order wrong. Workers were rude terrible experience.

I've been coming to this location for years mostly because it's the closest Wendy's to me. The food quality itself is ok, which isn't saying much considering it's hard to actually mess up fast food in general. The main issue is just the incompetency of the staff. Orders are often wrong. For example every time I've ordered an UNsweet tea (and I say it with same emphasis lol) it almost always comes out sweet. Also they are super slow. Some days worse than others, but consistent wait time of 30min or more during busy hours. Also commonly seeming to have issues and excuses. The food being ok (for what's expected) and the people generally being nice enough is why it's 2* and not 1 for me. read more

Wendy's is my go to fast food place. I frequent the one on Hillsborough and 15th as it's close to my job and sometimes I need something super quick. I like their fries and their deluxe cheeseburger (hold the cheese) and their nuggets. I have never gone to the one on Gandy before until this past Friday night...although it's the one closest to my house. I was heading home late and figured hmmm why not try it. I was extremely disappointed. The fries were hard and stale. The person that took my order through the intercom did not seem to understand what I was saying...I eventually just ordered the nuggets. They were hard and basically tasteless. The workers seemed to be joking around with each other as I waited for my order and discussing personal matters loudly and as they took our payment. Hey nothing wrong with having a little fun at work specially when it's almost closing time...but at least maintain some professionalism for the 5 minutes a customer is at the window. I'm not trying to compare the food and the service to upper scale burger places...I'm simply comparing it to other Wendys and the service and food just weren't up to par. You expect certain things from chains, that's how they become chains. I've frequented a Wendy's in Seattle about once a week for years, mostly to get a quick salad for dinner. They've never messed my order up. I stopped by this one in Tampa for a taste of "home" and was disappointed. It was slow, about five minutes before anyone acknowledge my existence at the order station. They guy behind me got frustrated and left. But I was determined to get my Cobb salad. The gal taking orders was short and rude, doing the very least necessary to technically fulfil job requirements. She gave me a Frostee with no spoon, and the wrong salad dressing. Lemon Garlic Caesar dressing on a Cobb salad is yuck. I'll give them another chance, but from the looks of other Yelp reviews of Wendy's in the area, it's clear this one, and many of them, need the company to step in and give them a dose of professionalism. read more

I'm a Wendy's fan and I've been known to dabble in spicy chicken nuggets from time to time. This location is close to home, should be easy enough right? The workers here are miserable. Just went to this location since it's close to my home. I ordered a Asiago chicken sandwich, medium fries and chicken nuggets for my dogs. I get home and my fries are barely half filled. I'm so fricken tired of being cheated. I'm sure when your staff goes on break they make sure there food is fresh and fries are full in the container.
