The cleanliness of this location is terrible. The place is filthy, overflowing garbage cans, dirty floors, a floor fan up on top of a table that people eat off of because the AC unit...I guess is on the fritz again.most of the not great conditions for those hard-working kids you have there. But you need to train them on how to do their job. whoever whoever's running the store needs to do better take a look at your light fixtures. when was the last time those were cleaned the floor behind the counter is a disaster. Funny order online and ask for extra mayo or mustard. They usually didn't put enough but the douchebag making my sandwich decided to put an entire bucket of mayo and a whole bottle of mustard on one sandwich. The bathroom was absolutely FOUL. The smell was so pungent that I was in a coughing fit. Unbelievablely disgusting odor.

Waited half an hour for my online order. Checked it in the store and half of it was wrong. Staff was clearly unhappy about having to address their mistake, and took it out on me by not remaking the sandwiches until after they'd worked through a long line of walk in customers. Before the customer service bot gets on here and tells me this is not acceptable and it will be addressed, it clearly hasn't been addressed after all of the previous comments about these same issues. read more

Not very good at following directions or correcting their mistakes. Did online lunch sandwich meal catering order, 3 of the 5 orders placed were wrong. Asked for NO vinegar and oil on the sandwiches and on the side for 2! Called the store manager, they said they would remake the 3 sandwiches they messed up!! Figured they would follow the online order now that has been brought to their attention for the error made But once again they failed to make the sandwiches correctly even with the instructions in front of them. She is snippy, rude and overall annoyed that you're expecting her to do her job. She should really not be dealing with customers. 3 times it has been the same experience. One of my favorite places to grab a bite sandwiches are always so yummy and fresh the staff here is really nice the manager is very friendly. A man I've known for so long who is never cruel and is the most utmost respectful person and to see how uncomfortable he was from this lady and how it bothered him. He did an uber order where a man helped him confirm it on his cellphone, after confirming through him this lady felt obligated to go to him and tell him to show the phone once again, he stated he can't go back on that screen as it's already confirmed. She continued to repeat that she needs to see it with an attitude. After he came into the car feeling very down. We then called to speak to the manager, when we called a lady answered with attitude like she was expecting this call. We asked to speak to the manager as 5 times in a row rudely out loud she said "speaking, speaking, speaking" we asked to please let us talk to someone else as she was very rude, terrible costumer service, and racial profiling..even the moment we answered the phone. If she was having a bad day. Is NOT an excuse for this. She tried claiming she has a "black husband" to defend herself, but we did not ask that as what matters in that situation is how MY black husband was treated. I would never go to this location as long as that lady works there. What's wrong with people who feel some entitlement to be so disgusting and profiling people. Me, as a white woman. They put enough meat on the sandwich to taste it, and the veggies taste relatively non-chemically fresh. The prices are reasonable, and the service has always been fast, and usually very pleasant. I usually get their club with turkey and bacon. You can double the meat for an upcharge, but it really has enough for good flavor as is. I like their bread also. If there's a con, it's the location. The corner at Dale Mabry and Gandy was allowed to be way over-built without enough parking, so if you go at lunch, the parking lot is a mess. read more

They took my order in the back of the line and remembered mine and others correctly. The staff seemed enthusiastic and some were singing along to music on the radio. I really enjoyed the upbeat feel I got here and the employees seemed to enjoy their jobs. Although they were busy, I got my turkey sub quickly. For those of you who have not used it before, it does require a credit card. Still, you can easily select your toppings, add comments for the crew, save to your favorites and even a spot to enter promotions for discounts! Wow! Tonight I was literally in a local fast food establishments drive thru ordering dinner for my son. While waiting, I simply ordered my two subs and I received my confirmation email with my pickup time. As far as national chain sub shops go Jersey Mike's is probably my favorite. The veggies are fresh, the bread is freshly baked, and the meats are sliced as they're put on your sandwich. It's the kind of quality you would find at your local neighborhood deli, with the convenience and consistency that a large chain provides. I highly recommend their Italian sub, Mike's Way (lettuce, tomato, onions, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar). This location just opened and I've already been there a few times. There were a couple employees who seemed a little clueless, but it's obvious they just started and are still training. Most of the employees here are very friendly, talkative, and efficient in their work. So in summary, the food is great, the staff is great, the location is prime, and it's clean. Excellent Italian sub, the red pepper relish Mikes way is the best. The cheesesteaks are good and the buffalo chicken with Frank's Red Hot sauce is good too. As far as fast subs go, Jersey Mike's is near the top. As long as the bread is fresh (most of the time it is, but every once in a while you get yesterday's leftover) then your going to enjoy your sandwich. The giant size is perfect for splitting, and everything is sliced fresh! The Italian seasoning when you get it "Mike's way" makes it taste great, and if your into spicy, get the red sauce, not sure what it's called, but it's great. The only thing that's annoying is the employees ask too many questions...how's your day? What are you doing after this? What's your favorite movie? I've mostly liked the sandwiches there but they apparently have a policy to provide bacon on their CLUB only upon request. Twice now I've paid the approximately $1 up-charge for a sandwich that contains bacon in it's listed ingredients (alongside the other meats) to later unwrap it to find bacon was not included. I've since discovered that it's their policy to ask if you would like bacon because apparently others supposedly enjoy the up-charge but not the bacon. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that the instances in which it was not included where due to me being distracted when asked but I can't escape the idea that this is a policy to save money knowing that bacon is surely their most expensive ingredient. If truly well intentioned then this a terribly conceived policy as I'm sure to not be the only customer who did no receive the meal they paid for and where ready to enjoy consuming. As much sympathy as I have for those few deprived individuals who do not like or do not get to enjoy bacon, clearly it should be up to them to make the request so that the rest of us are not dispossessed of our beloved (and paid for) bacon. Temperature in the store was in the 50's when the outside temp was 61. Everyone in our group was too cold and uncomfortable to finish our food. We were forced to leave. The 2 young teenage boys operating the place did little or nothing to address our clearly stated discomfort. They were focused on closing for the night. Even my giant meatball and cheese sub was served barely warm. It was just okay--typical food service meatballs, a little cheese and bland, canned sauce. First the guy behind me left and then a couple minutes later I left. If it didn't go thru you apologize to him and make it right then. You don't call people to bitch about it and not say anything to the customers standing in front of you. Got a giant tuna and they barely put any tuna and I had a feeling it was because the tub didn't have enough in it and they didn't feel like going to get a new one. I will never go to this Jersey Mikes again I thought this chain prided themselves on big true subs with lots of meat and vegetables. The guys in this store are always so nice, except for the owner. I have probably gone in here once a week for the past year and gotten the sub in a tub, and the guys always cut it for me. The other day I went in and the store owner says "we don't like to do that" in regards to cutting the meat making it more of a salad. So he made me feel really uncomfortable and awkward but said but we can do it, we just don't like to do it. Well so much for doing what the customer requests. It's not like I'm asking for a free upgrade of more meat or something. And I realize it's more work for the guys in there, so I always leave a tip. Anyhow. Love the food, love the other employees, but we will no longer return to this store because of the store owner and his purist ridiculousness. Hope it was worth losing a weekly, if not more, customer.
