I'm totally shocked to see all of the bad reviews! I have lived in the area on and off for 20+ years and used to work at the gym ( now storage space) that's right next door to this location. So, I've been to this Wendy's several times Over the years. I've never had any complaints! Food always comes out quickly and as expected. I'm a veteran and I know what a good role model and manager is responsible for. The managers here need some more reckoning and a little eye opener. I think there is a very good likelihood of discrimination on the night shift and a lot of favoritism going on. My daughter works here and they are slave driver's. They micromanage the employee's and the attitude is "do what I say; not what I do". I know the night manager will not speak to me and use every excuse in the book to stay away from communication's. She just says were closed and will not talk to me. She also will shadow some employees when they use the restroom; telling them to use the restroom only on their breaks. What is this all about? Yet; they can take breaks and abuse the smoking policy anytime they want because they are managers? Furthermore; they are smokers and go outside to smoke and take extra breaks when the employee';s are busting their backs to keep the operation running. The night manager tell my daughter to take a break and then comment on her ordering food when the business picks up. I think this treatment to the employees is cruel and unusual for them to be followed in the bathrooms and told they can't eat anything after their register closes. It's wrong. I will take this a step further if this verbal abuse continues. There is no rule in any book in America that says when you can and can't take a bathroom break the last time I checked. I'm not finished with this yet. I will file a complaint with child labour and the Department of Labor if this behavior continues. read more

I came through the drive-thru on Tuesday Sept. 11 and the manager Cecilia was at the drive-thru window. She was very rude, shaking the bag so I would take it faster. When I asked her for a packet of sauce she rolled her eyes and made a big fuss about it. THEN I come in the next day Wednesday Sept. 12, again Cecilia was at the window. I had ordered two 4 for $4 for my coworker and I. They had gotten both our orders wrong when we ordered the exact same meal. I called the store to see if I could come back later and have my food replace and Cecilia argued that she had not made a mistake with my food and I got what I ordered. When I tried to explain to her that it wasn't what we had ordered she rudely said "Whatever BYE!". What kind of business is this? Whether it be corporate or franchise, a MANAGER should not have this kind of attitude. I have never had a worse experience at Wendy's in my life! Horrible customer service. read more

Do NOT go to this location. Wendy's is my favorite fast food on the rare occasion that I stop for fast food. I am still appalled and disgusted by my experience at Wendy's on Gandy. I ordered the 4 for $4 Junior Bacon Cheeseburger meal with a Diet Coke. I had a coupon which I stated when I ordered for a free spicy chicken sandwich. I then approached the drive through window and handed Laneisha the coupon and my debit card. She rang it up and then said that they couldn't take the coupon. (How about ask if I still want it?) I said, "fine, you can cancel the spicy chicken sandwich". I then had to go back and forth with Laneisha as she appeared to be in an altered state of consciousness about the canceling of the chicken sandwich. She then went to the food prep area and came back 3 minutes later where she laughed and handed me my food. As I drove away I noticed first that my drink was Coke and not Diet Coke. Secondly, there were three chicken nuggets instead of four. The final straw which led me to believe that my food was tampered with was when I opened the sandwich to inspect it and there was white cheese on it, no bacon, and an exaggerated amount of mayonnaise. There was no way at that point that I was touching that food that was clearly tampered with (who hasn't heard of fast food horror stories?) I was overly nice in my encounter with Laneisha and calm with her lack of comprehension, as I am no fool (you don't upset people that are making your food). However, everything was clearly tampered with. Had I eaten the sandwich, I fear what bodily fluids or other disgusting bacteria was on the food. It doesn't add up... so because she was having comprehension issues she took it out on me and the food, especially when I was patient and kind to her through it all? I guess you get what you pay for... Truly avoid this terribly run establishment. read more

Every single time I come here the employees are always so rude...I got the 4 for 4 and once I got my bag my hamburger was just thrown in, it didn't have the wrapping around it at all. I am a decade plus regular. I can't believe how much this location has gone to hell. It used to be my favorite over McDonald's but the lack of quality in food is enough to drive me away. Upon entering the store I noticed three "order here" kiosks so I decided to give it a try. Kiosk would not read my card. Asked for help and counter person and manager shrugged at the request. Two groups ordered while I waited for help. Gave up on waiting at the kiosk as it was obvious I was being ignored. I went to the counter to order there and both groups who ordered before me had to return to the counter to get the rest of their orders that the staff did not fill. Horrible. First off, the service wasn't the best as I walked in, and as my group of five ordered our meals one at a time, the young lady at the register ignored us for some time, finally registered our existence, and took our order. I ordered a single cheeseburger with no lettuce, no tomato, and no onions. None of these restraints showed up on the receipt. Another person in my group ordered a caramel iced coffee. He had to repeat himself a couple of times. She asked, "Caramel... iced coffee?" he replied with a yes. This happened twice. We watched as she punched buttons over and over all over the cashier screen. When we get the order, the coffee was missing, and I got my burger WITH JUST the cheese, burger, bun, onions, lettuce and tomato. When I got to the table with my group, I noticed the order was wrong. I went up with my sister and -attempted- to complain to someone (who turned out to be the manager). The 'manager' rolled her eyes at us as we were telling her about the sandwich. I explained how the onions, lettuce and tomato were on it. I said that none should be there. She said, "Ok, we'll get that fixed for you" as she tossed the first sandwich in the trash can. The moment she handed me the new burger, I opened the little wrapping and looked inside the burger. Onions. -_- I am a bit picky, and I could deal with a little piece of onion the FIRST time around, but not when I am blatantly told her to not put it on the burger. I told her again to fix it, getting impatient as my stomach growled. She tossed it again. Then she yelled at the kid behind the counter that didn't look like he knew what he was doing. I then tried to tell her about the coffee, but she ignored me. Twice. She handed me the burger. Out of hunger and annoyance, I opened the burger and checked it. Soggy. I decided to live with it, and asked for the coffee a third time. She asked if it was either caramel or mocha, and I said caramel. (Afterwards, the other person noticed that it was mocha -_- ) After finishing our 'meal', we decided to complain to the manager for the poor and rude service that we were having. The manager, being the one who delivered the poor service to us, decided to say sorry and kinda ignore my sister (who is only 14) from her complaint. Another person in my group, a little hot-tempered from the wait and cranky, complained and still got "whatever"'s and "you do that"'s from her when he said he would call the corporate office for Wendy's. He did. On my way out, I checked a few of the seats and tables, and they were not clean, just haphazardly wiped down, and sticky. The rest of the staff stared to laugh as if they didn't care what just happened, and it was all just a joke to them. I strongly recommend NOBODY enter this excuse for a fast food restaurant and order food. Just another restroom stop on a road trip until ALL of their staff gets a nice talking-to about customer respect. Okay, so I know Wendy's isn't exactly a fancy place to eat but I've always found their singles with cheeseto be quite delicious. But now that I have decided to become a vegetarian Singles with cheese are out for me. But that doesn't mean that Wendy's is no longer a place that I can eat. They have quite a few salads, and french fries, of course. I decided to order their pecan cranberry chicken salad sans the chicken. What I got was a very fresh, very delicious salad. They ended up giving me more pecans, cranberries and feta cheese since I didn't get any chicken on the salad. I will say,however, that the staff was less than friendly. This has been a concern of mine at this particular Wendy's location for some time. The staff always seems like they just would rather be anywhere else but it Wendy's. Overall a very good value for a very fresh and delicious salad even without the chicken. But the service leaves much to be desired. I've been frequenting this Wendy's for a few years now, and know what to expect. No, it isn't great. It's just Wendy's. My experiences don't seem to be as bad as the other reviewers, but they do mess up my orders on occasion, same as 90% of the other fast food places. I always pull my car around the building to double check and walk inside if there's a problem. The fact that I've made this part of the routine should tell you something. Common problems that I've had include: mayo when I asked for none, no tomato on sandwiches that are supposed to have them, and badly wilted lettuce. The problems seem to be much worse late at night, especially concerning the vegetables. The service is not great, but I don't expect that here. I do expect them do put together decent food quickly, which they achieve somewhat regularly. This last time, I was a little bewildered. I always order spicy chicken sandwiches (they're relatively consistent because they make them off site and just heat up the chicken in the store), but yesterday I was in the mood for a burger. I ordered a double with cheese, and being happy with my choice, I paid and pulled around to check my order. They got all the items correct! But, the burger didn't look anything like what I am accustomed to from my long years as a Wendy's customer. It looked like they poured a ladle of grease into the wrapper and quickly wrapped it so they wouldn't lose any. I literally poured grease out of the wrapper onto the parking lot so it wouldn't drip in my car or on me. Did I take it back in? No. As I said, they got the items right, which is better than anticipated, and if they make it that bad once, they'll only do it worse the second time.
