I loathe having to leave my beloved football games and go anywhere on a Saturday but sometimes get so busy during the week that I forget to make it to a grocery for actual food. Realizing we had none too late and unexpectedly having my housemate home created a dilemma-do I miss 10 minutes of a game or face criminal charges for starving a dependent adult? I *want* to like this location of Wendy's. I really do. After all, I'm trying to lose weight and Wendy's offers foods I can actually eat without adding an extra 2-3 HOURS of exercise to my day. That said, the people at the drive-through are often rude and condescending. (Not the blond girl though - sorry, I don't know her name, but she's cool.) Half the time, my order is wrong, which is disappointing since I order for my grandmother (who is very picky) and always get her the exact same thing. Went to this Wendy's asked for sample of pretzel bun cashier was courteous and nice say ok asked manager Enrique and he seemed bothered and just showed me bun and said "This is the bun" could have gave sample or said "sorry sir we don't give samples" Had pretzel burger bun tasted too dense and over powering with burger don't think I will try again and bit too greasy. So no thank you Wendy's. A lot of complaints about messed up orders. I was going to defend this store but I just remembered they forgot my cheese and onions on my chili. So minus half a star. But this Wendy's is a good Wendy's. They are always fast and efficient when I go (with the one exception-mistakes happen.) my goto items are: single, chili with cheese and onions, spicy chicken sandwich. When I'm on one of my diet plans, I'll even go and get the baked potato and eat it plain. My mother is weirded out by the square patties, but I think it's kinda cool. Had a bad experience today. I have always loved going to this Wendy's. It's down the street from my job and the drive thru is always efficient and on point. Not today I got a completely different meal and didn't realize it till I got to work to sit down and eat what I ordered. My baby was crying, my toddler was running a muck and I was stressed out. Kailey was prompt and friendly with my children and I, which made everything much better/easier on me and my situation. It's no fault of Wendy's, but the plaza that it's in has much to be desired. The smells from the restrooms and the plaza in general were a little distracting for food, and it may just be that it's been so long since I've been to a Wendy's but I didn't remember the prices being as high as they were. I still love Wendy's and the food was delicious, but the experience did not meet my initial expectations, which I don't think were that high. On the plus side, there are tv's in there and they had some NFL games on and as mentioned above, the food was fine. read more

They always get my order right. This is only Wendy's in town I will go to since I had so many issues with other Wendy's in town leaving order out. Even though I live closer to Victoria will drive to other side of town so I can get what I ordered and everything in the bag correct. Nasty! I mean you get what you pay for when you get fast food. But if you are hungry and dont want to ruin your appetite, then order in the drive through. Do not go eat inside. Their dining area is disgusting and repulsive. Tables are disgustingly dirty, the food trays are covered in an inch of grease and have never been washed. This is the worst Wendys I have ever been to. The only reason I come here is because my boss loves Wendys, but today is the last time I come to this one in particular. I have been waiting over 20 minutes now for 3 salads and 2 chicken sandwiches. Not to mention they frequently get something wrong with my orders and all of the managers are very unprofessional and not very polite. They all look like they hate life, which I get it, I work in customer service too, it sucks sometimes. Dealing with the occasional crappy customers is no fun, but you have to put on a happy face and continue to be friendly and polite to your customers. Like I said, I will not be returning to this Wendys, which is inconvenient for me and my office with it being down the street from us, but I'm done dealing with the overly long wait times and unfriendly managers. read more

You can look at my other reviews before you decide if I'm just a troll. I usually don't waste time on bad reviews, I just don't go back. But every once in a while (in my case only twice before) am I so disappointed that I feel I should write a bad review. I ordered food for my mom, my daughter, and myself. My mom suggested Wendy's because she wanted their chili and an order of fries. My daughter is a vegetarian and just wanted fries. I got a value meal. Times are tough right now, and it isn't often I buy premade food. When I got home, 2 items weren't in the bag. I called the store 4 times and after 2 minutes each time the phone hung up. Then I called the customer service number in Ohio and they were far from helpful. Even though my gas tank was near empty I drove back a couple of miles to get my items. They were so dismissive and rude I decided that I wouldn't get the food and was afraid they might spit in it. So I will never go back and urge others to do the same. By the way, my burger was sugary sweet, my daughter microwaved frozen Brussels sprouts, my mom liked her chili. I'll never go there again. I noticed they only had 3 stars when I logged in. Today 3/1/2017 bout 7:15pm drove thru this Wendy's ordered Dave's double w xtra onion, sour cream n chive baked potato. Get home after a long day expecting to enjoy my food. No sour cream n no fork no receipt. There was a straw in my bag n I didn't order a drink. I called n it rang no answer. Then called Corp offices 1-888-624-8140 s:w Josh n what's first thing he asked do I have my receipt-no they didn't give me one. My issues may seem minor but when u've had a long day n expect what u ordered n don't get it n to know all the money Wendy's spends on advertising it's frustrating. Then the gal at the counter was ready n waiting for me to pay so they cud get me thru that drive thru as fast as possible. Almost every single time I go to Wendy's, I just expect them to get my order wrong. That's how bad their service is. On top of that, you cannot refund orders, or at least every time I have, they haven't let me. They gave me the wrong food. When I went back to get what I actually ordered they tried to tell me I placed my order wrong. When placing the order I repeated several times pretzel burger. They finally gave me the pretzel burger but it was grease with a side of burger and you could tell it spent too much time under the heat lamp. I stumbled upon this Wendy's on my way home. The customer service was absolutely terrible. They rushed me while I was trying to order more items. I got my food pretty quickly and it was hot. So that was great! But my order wasn't complete. After I finally got my complete order I sat down to eat and all I can hear is the staff yelling at each other about how their paycheck wasn't right and they were being overworked. Eventually another customer came in and there was no one at the cash register. There was however an employee chatting away with another employee next to the customer. So disrespectful. This Wendy's, compared to the one back home, is better. The Frostys are the correct size (don't get me started on how they fill half of the smallest drink cup for a small Frosty at the Wendy's back home), and Mayra asked my kids what toys they wanted. So after leaving the hospital I decided to go to Wendy's since it was near by. I pulled up to the drive thru and started ordering. I ordered a plain double cheese burger with just meat, cheese, and bun and a large Diet Coke. As soon as I pulled up, right off the bat, the employee gave me some attitude from the speaker about the burger I ordered and asked if I wanted to make it a meal. I also ordered a large strawberry lemonade and a frosty. When I pulled up to the window I was greeted with a small strawberry lemonade and I responded with "I'm sorry, but I ordered a large" and she said "no you didn't" and hesitated to grab the drink back, but eventually did. And that's something you don't ever say in the costumer service world, you smile and nod and complain about it later. She also didn't catch that I ordered two drinks, so she only gave me one and rolled her eyes when she had to give me the second. When I got the bag, I said "thank you" and drove off. As soon as I drove off, I pulled over and parked, I looked in the bag and saw that she gave me a small order of fry, when I actually ordered a large and also she didn't give me a spoon for my frosty and no straws or napkins and also no receipt. Also, if I have to describe the employee who helped me on the day I went, which was actually on December 4th, at around 1:50pm-2:00pm, it was a larger white woman, while the rest of the staff in the kitchen looked Hispanic. read more

Quickest Drive thru in Ventura, possibly the state. I am impressed at their speed. The other day was the longest wait ever. A minute and 30 seconds. Still fast in my opinion. My son asked what was taking so long. lol The food is always good and order is always correct. read more
