Taco Bell is always my go to favorite fast food spot, especially when I'm on a road trip. Passing through Ventura, my friends and I came in here around 8pm for a quick bite. At this location, there's a good amount of seating and clean bathrooms. There are two kiosks here, making order super quick and easy. I got the value box with the chicken chalupa, doritos locos taco supreme, chicken nuggets, nacho fries, and a drink. It was about $10-15, but pretty good value for the amount of food you get. My order is simple and consistent: a bean and cheese burrito, a crunchy beef taco, and a diet coke. I still miss the chili cheese burrito and the ranch taco, gone but not forgotten. With our coupon, we paid $10.79 (out the door). You must EMPHASIZE that you want LOTS of sauce. Never leave the drive thru window until you check that you have all of the SAUCE that you need. This Taco Bell is fantastic! It's currently closed for some construction, but I have been to this location so many times. More than I should probably admit. In the years I've been going (always drive thru) I've never had my order messed up. It's almost hard to believe this place hasn't been closed down by the health department. When I first walked in it took 3 minutes for anyone to even come to the front to take my order. I used the restroom while waiting for my order. It was dirty, but not much worse than other fast food places until you look at the drain on the floor. It was clogged by what appeared to be a few different things that may or may not be growing. When I got my order 1 out of the 3 items were wrong. We were really hungry and needed a short stop after seeing the mission at Santa Buenaventura. It was 2 miles from the mission on business route 101 south and it was easy to find. We are a "dollar menu" type family so we got the 2.99 meal deals except for my son who got tacos without cheese because of allergies. It was fast and hit the spot.
