I always seem to overlook Wendy's when it comes time to do a fast food run. I've recently been avoiding the McDonald's line by substituting my cravings with Wendy's and so far - they've impressed! The service is fast, friendly and efficient and the food is fresh, hot and tasty! The lines are short and service is quick and the parking-lot is easier to navigate. I decided to grab a quick breakfast this morning to make a rough day go a little more smoothly and they did a great job. The maple bacon chicken croissant was so good and the employees were kind and got me checked out and on my way before it was time to log onto work for the day. Also - have you tried their seasoned potatoes? Definitely my kind of breakfast companion. Not sure why the rating is so low - my experience has been great. Far above expectations. read more

Alright I just wanna say this is the worst Wendy's in Illinois. First off all the lady in the speaker is so slow and r*tarded to give you answer and takes forever to place a simple order. She has no idea what she's doing even tho she's a manager. When we pulled up and got our food. We got a lot of missing nuggets, the burger I got was colder than frosty the snowman's booty cheeks. I I went to this restaurant on ... I was the only car in the Drive-Thru it wasn't even busyNovember 10th 2025 at about 6:00 p.m. I ordered the classic number one meal large with a diet Coke. I specifically told them that I wanted fresh french fries and that I would wait for them and I could tell if they were fresh. After I got my food and waiting for the fries and left when I got to my hotel in town about 10 minutes away I started eating my dinner in my hotel room and realize that the fries were overcooked I had lettuce that was wilted and a smashed tomato the bun was also partially soaked for some reason this was a terrible meal because I was very hungry I ended up eating it I would never go back to this restaurant again shame on you guys read more

Refuses service to PAYING homeless people. I watched a homeless man try to buy a water on a 90 degree day and the employee goes on to explain their management team does not permit them to allow the local homeless to purchase from them. This treatment is utterly repulsive and this restaurant is little more than a pimple on the face of Woodstock. I truly hope the managers responsible for this treatment loose their jobs for this. read more

Stopped in for a super quick dinner with the family. Great location and easy to find. The food is mediocre, especially their salads. But you get what you pay for as their prices are very low. Their burgers bring back memories from childhood as this was a family favorite when I was growing up in central Ohio. Here's where the single star comes in...have you ever had yellow water come out of the fancy pop machines they now use? Yep, yellow. I may have had my all time favorite Wendy's experience. I hit the drive thru late on Friday night. Let's be real, most would not be operating at 100% on a late Friday night. I was greeted with a friendly voice asking what I wanted. I'll admit, I'm a bit high maintenance with my food. i simply don't like some of the standard veggies of tomato's and onions. so I ordered without. I also requested some extra pickles. and made it a meal with fries and a drink. I was greeted by a friendly guy who took my payment and asked if I needed ketchup. He then handed me my burger and fries within 30 seconds of accepting payment. I pulled off to another lot to enjoy my burger. The double burger was possibly the best Wendy's burger I've ever had. Beef was tender and delicious. and condiments, lettuce, and pickles were spot on both in taste and amount. Given the time of day (10pm) I was expecting lukewarm fries that were sitting under the heat lamp for 30 minutes. I was wrong. they were very hot and crispy! The employees wont understand what you are trying to order, which will cause a line to build up behind you making you feel anxious. The bag won't have the sauces you wanted, so the dry nuggets won't actually sound appetizing. But they will be open in the middle of the night so eat here or go fuck yourself I guess read more

We were -- in fact -- starving, as some of the other reviewers somewhat harshly suggested. The food was fine. The place was clean and the staff was friendly enough. I mean, most run-of-the-mill fast-food workers are a little shell-shocked, but most respond well to a little kindness and humor. I like Wendy's. Since childhood they represented a departure from the sometimes lifeless product offered by another national chain. From square burgers to my addiction to chocolate Frostys, I have to say I'm a Wendy's guy (when I'm not a Burger King guy or a Hardees/Carl's Jr guy.) This place was inoffensive, quick -- not terribly busy when we visited. Got nothin' against the place; and it's right on the way out of town for me, so it's convenient. read more

If I could I would give it zero stars. Ordered 5 cheeseburgers got charged for five, only received four went back through drive thru told them I was missing one and all they said was "oh" not even a apology!!! Worst customer service I have ever seen. Ordered 50 nuggets a burger and three fries at drive thru. Read the sign and it was all there. Pulled up gave my card then was asked to pull up. Brought out my order and only 10 nuggets. Went inside and manager Jesus comes over and I tell him what happened. He then prints out my receipt and apparently they only ran me up for ten. I told him I wanted and ordered fifty so I needed fourth more. He then charges me full price for fifty so I asked why and he got rude and sai it wasn't there fault I should have read the sign. I explained over and over that I did but apparently Jesus doesn't listen to his customers. He kept fighting and I told him stop talking to me and just give me my food. I live in Woodstock and if i am craving Wendy's, I will intentionally drive to Crystal Lake or Richmond. This one is downright awful - mostly food and cleanliness. We like to see local businesses success and wanted to share our feedback in hopes that they would make an attempt to improve this Wendy's. We ordered a junior frosty and a water, had to give them the order twice, and then when we got to the window we had to tell them our order AGAIN. It a frosty and a water... I mean come on. Visited this Wendy's today through the drive-thru. I ordered a sandwich plain and when I got back to work it had the works on it. So I called and talked to the store manager who apologized and offered me a replacement meal the next time I visit. As this store is close to my work I visit often and this is the first time in 4 years I have ever had a problem with my sandwich there. I love their food, the fries are so much better now! Honestly, only if I have no time to drive anywhere will I go here. I live in Woodstock, and love Wendy's, but this specific Wendy's is a nightmare. Like Scott D said, I'll go to Crystal Lake or some other place, because Woodstock needs to get their act together. Whenever I order my usual, and ask for no tomato, surprise! There's a tomato. Their fries are in one word: sad. Overly salted and soggy, and their food tastes stale. Don't even get me started on when they forget components of my order. There has been too many times where I order a salad, and they will forget the dressing, or the croutons and I have to basically argue for my food (they tend to tell me everything is correct and to recheck it myself). I usually do drive-thru, because the dine-in facilities make me lose my appetite (had little red ants crawling all over the table once when I ate there, and the bathrooms were nothing to be proud of). I think it's just a matter of getting new management or retraining all the employees because it's not just a one-off time where it's bad, it's ALWAYS bad. And the only reason I ever go back is because I'm not willing to eat McD's or Taco Bell and there's only so much Subway a girl can eat. All in all, if you're going here, prepare to hassle over something as simple as the instructions you gave when ordering your food, and the quality of it. It's a "only when starving" and "last resort" kind of place, in my humble opinion. read more
