Good coffee, but service can definitely be better. No good morning, no thank you for coming in... nada.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Parking lot is shared but there's no clear indication on where to park (spots are labeled, some for businesses and some with numbers). Walk inside and there's a huge line. Only 1 barista working so it was 15 minutes before we ordered! Another 5-10 minutes to get the drinks. There's not enough seating and they ran out of mugs. The coffee was fine. Vibe inside was odd - there's not anything to absorb sound so you feel like you have to keep your voice down to avoid everyone hearing you convo. Barista finally turned some music on but still had a library feel. Will likely never return. read more

Really unique and fun little coffee shop in an industrial complex on Elston (near where the Lincoln Yards Project is). We had both types of their "Glitter-Lattes", and were surprisingly impressed with how great they tasted. I was instagram-stalking this place for a few weeks and finally got the chance to go yesterday. It was everything i wanted and more. Had both the matcha tea latte and the nitro ice coffee and both were fabulous. Tons of outlets and cozy spots to work, friendly staff, lots of light pouring in, and they played an entire Banks album for an hour which won bonus points. Plus its real close to both the wine depot and Local Foods, so its the perfect place to work and then go to pick up your snacks for weekend/evening consumption. Loved everything about it and can't wait to go back to try the ricotta bialy and the gorgeous donuts. read more

First off: amazing latte! Many love novelty and I'm no stranger to it. The charcoal latte was sooo good. Second: be prepared for an insanely long wait time. I waited 21 minutes for one cup. I don't usually time things but a picture I took was timestamped so I was able to figure out how long I was standing in the coffee shop. There was only one barista working...for the size of the space this lacks any sense whatsoever. She kept going to the back to, I believe, hand wash the cups and used paper towels to dry them. On yelp their hours are listed 7 AM to 1 PM. The barista appeared annoyed as a few more customers walked in as I was in line. However, there is a gigantic billboard outside that says now open, 7-4pm. Also, on their front door it says 7 to 4 as well. I believe this is a newer spot, but with so much novelty that tourists are going to want to check out they have a few things to work on. Weird location, I would've never ventured over here if my dermatologists office wasn't next door. Love that everything is made in the truck in the middle, it's an industrial feeling place with limited seating. I got the charcoal latte, which was really good. I would probably come back if I was in the area, but wouldn't venture over on my own. read more

This place is as hipster as it gets. I came in because a friend really wanted to try the glitter latte they saw on a Facebook video. Now I'm all for trends but this place is super in the middle of nowhere and doesn't take cash. Secondly, when we got there the women working didn't know anything about said glitter latte. Can't blame her for that at all, maybe we got the place wrong. We get our drinks and sit down, a chai latte and a matcha one. Nothing wrong with either, mine was just more milk & sugar than anything else. Then we look up the glitter latte to make sure and it is, in fact, this restaurant. I understand that with new trends all the staff may not know about them or be able to keep up but it's not a good business idea to promote a drink and then be unable to make it. The atmosphere was nice and it seemed to be attached to an apartment complex of some sort. The wifi was also free and fast. Not a bad place to study if you live nearby and it is out there. Overall I wouldn't choose this place over any other in Chicago. It just seemed very lackluster and trying to captilize on a trend but failing to do so. read more

Amazing aesthetic and vibe. Coffee was great too. It is in the bottom of an office building and right next to a dermatologist. Plenty of outlets to post up and do some work. Music was amazing - I think the barista was playing albums front to back (Hozier). If you're in the area, check it out. read more

Believe it or NOT........... I found this place from facebook in Fla. a friend of mine posted it. I watched the video and sent it to my Uncle and said we have to go here. I am so glad we did. We ordered the drinks that were shown in video. HANDS DOWN...... YOU WILL NEVER GET A DRINK LIKE THIS AT STARBUCKS. I came a long way for the best LATTE EVER...... I will have to come back 1 more time before I leave. The drink was NOT only pretty BUT very smooth, creamy, just the right amount of sweetness. The Wonder Bread truck brings back childhood memories for me as well. Such a cute idea and luv the space you have it set up in. NOW you must open 1 near where I live IN FLORIDA please I am hooked........ Best of LUCK great job a must go and try place for sure. read more

This is the second time I have been here. Both times they have claimed they have run out of glitter. Do not advertise glitter in your coffee if you are never going to have it. The two times I went, I came before 11am!!! Are you kidding me? Either they are lying that they do not have glitter or they do not have enough glitter. This is ridiculous. Also we tried calling them before because we did not want to run into this problem again and there was no answer. We drove all he way out to the city for this and they "ran out of glitter by 11am". You need more glitter then! Forget this place, definitely will not be back and will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I tried the beet latte special today with oat milk and it was okay. Warm milk with sugar more or less. There were no fancy crumbles on top like I saw in other pics so a little disappointed, but expectations should be low for a beverage with no caffeine I suppose. The barista was very nice though and the space was inviting. I would stop again if in the area but the limited hours make that sort of unlikely. read more

This is the kind of hidden gem that crafts every drink with a lot of time & thought and is happy to talk/hold a conversation with you. The decor was so cute and the iced mocha I ordered was absolutely delicious. My only recommendation is to come when you have time to be patient while waiting for your drink and then to sit and enjoy the atmosphere! read more

Excellent coffee. The beans in the "dark matter" coffee were not over extracted and the ph of the coffee was perfect. Excellent start to my morning after visiting this coffee bar. Coffee was strong, delightful and smooth. Only drawback I saw was the cups they served the coffee in, I understand they're trying to be hip but cups with handles on them go a really long way instead of me having to pour my coffee into another regular paper cup to drink it. Other than that the location was very hipster, they also had a cart for nitro coffee which seems to be picking up quickly in this city! Can't wait to see what else this city has to offer. read more

Let me begin with what I liked about this place: The look and style of the actual cafe, it has character. AND the barista was nice. Now...The rest of my experience of getting the beet glitter coffee they sell was not worth it. I read the website ahead of time to check the parking situation. The website makes it sound as if they have an entire lot. They don't. They're in a lot but with 1 or 2 Spots. I drove around looking for street parking for a good 45 minutes. I finally make it inside and the line is damn near out of the door because they only have one barista. The wait to just to order was another 40 minutes. I ordered and it took another 15 minutes to get my tiny, minuscule drink. It was subpar. I have been to hundreds of coffee shops around the country. Coffee is my thing. These drinks are overpriced, very presentable, but lack any differentiating flavour. Very bland and Not worth $6. read more

Great coffee, amazing drinks. However, none of that matters because they are literally out of everything all the time. Plus, don't get hooked to one of the awesome baristas. Management is very rude and drives out all the good ones. Spotted a recent favorite from here at La Columbe! If you go ten times, they may have things in stock one of those times. Went here today to get some work done with high hopes after seeing the reviews, but I was way disappointed. When I walked in, someone was LOUDLY vacuuming the entire store with an industrial vacuum. It was 9 a.m., so seemed a little strange, but whatever. Barista was super friendly and helpful, so not faulting her here. Butttttttt wi-fi didn't work, they didn't have any food options aside from a few bags of chips, the water cooler water tasted like it had been there for weeks, and after the intense vacuuming, the same guy started zamboni'ing the floor. Really distracting, and ultimately I ended up leaving because I couldn't get any work done due to said noise and broken wi-fi. Also, parking out front is bizarre if you've never been there. There's a valet? And then there's a bunch of spots, but you can't read what businesses they are for? Great idea and I'm sure they have loyal customers in the building, but execution was all off for me as someone who wanted to find a good place to work and get caffeinated. read more
