It's unfortunate that things are so overwhelming that you can't get an appointment for months, even if you need one for very serious problems, and then always having to see someone else, not the Doctor. I'd be shocked if they haven't received quite a few complaints regarding this, especially since the assistant or PA is not very kind. The nurses and Desert Oasis are great though, they have been very nice and have helped make up for the rude encounters.

Dr…read more Anderson is very personable, listens to everything you say and takes the time to discuss treatments and medications. He's always guided me to the very best of health practices. Eddie, his scribe, is also quite approachable and always takes the time to listen then enter your concern/s into their database so that the doctor can follow up with you. If Dr. Anderson sends you out for lab work, you can rest assured that he will personally contact you within a few days to follow-up and discuss your lab work with you. He's up to date with new medications and treatments and if he needs to refer you to a specialist he takes the time to explain why he needs you to go. His front office staff, including the super Maria, answers your call promptly and professionally. I had the occasion of missing a prescription as the pharmacy messed it up and Maria handled it adroitly. His other office staff also treats you as a patient overwhelmingly professional and courteous, as I've never ever had any problems with them despite the fake reviews I've read. So, if you are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable medical group, then Dr. Anderson and his staff deserve your call.

The first time I went, the PA took a quick urine sample and diagnosed me with a UTI right away even though my results "weren't that bad". She prescribed me antibiotics and medicine for pain down there that made me super sick. The antibiotic also did nothing for me but made me feel like death. I had mentioned that I didn't really feel any pain down there, it was my stomach. She just said to follow up with my pcp but didn't send me for labs or anything. Not even for a urinalysis to make sure I actually did have a "uti". I came back because I still had pains and felt miserable. She finally sent me for labs because I kept insisting she sent me for some. Honestly, I didn't feel comfortable going there. She kept talking over me and making me feel a bit dumb. After i had to finish my paperwork back in the lobby and couldn't stop feeling terrible for their behavior, i couldn't hold my tears back and the feeling of being humiliated like that. I got up to turn in my paperwork and i said to the person at the front desk " when we come to a doctors visit clearly we are not at out best, right now i feel terrible and for you to do what you did to humiliate me was not right" she denied doing it but im sure there are cameras in there to prove what i said happened. On two separate occasions, a male staff member recorded unusually high readings and informed me that my blood pressure was elevated. However, when my blood pressure was taken by a female staff member and when I monitored it at home as instructed by my doctor, the readings were consistently normal. This raises serious concerns about whether proper procedures are being followed. While I highly recommend the doctors, the office staff's lack of consistency and attention to detail has made my overall experience disappointing. 45 min wait time after coming 10 minutes prior to appointment time. Staff is rude and cannot draft a return to work properly if their life depended on it.
