My neighbor had called before her policy ended and her new policy was to begin. She terminated her Geico policy because Geico raised her 6 month policy twice in 1 year to $1000 for 6 six months. She is 89 and lives on a small monthly pension and her driving record is clean with no traffic tickets and no accidents. Geico even threatened to send the collection agency after her, which would ruin her credit record over $9.99. So, if you are looking for auto insurance and you enjoy watching Geico commercials on television, make sure you ask about Geico's terminating policy before you purchase their auto protection. I wouldn't want anybody to agonize over unjust billing or to be threatened with a collection agency.

I asked their agent to produce the form that has my wife's or my initials on denying the coverage that they made up obviously and they couldn't produce it. We were well taken care of when we submitted a claim for a flooding issue, however I do not know what role the agent played in that (if any) because I dealt with another individual during that period. When I have dealt with Ashraf, I came away feeling frustrated and irritated. Rarely does anyone answer the phone, and the one time he did answer, it was an abrupt "HOLD ON" greeting and then a long waiting period...so long you have no choice but to hang up and try again. If you leave a message, you may or not ever get a return phone call. We are now in the process of trying to secure our independence from this agency, and it hasn't been an easy task. While I would certainly use Allstate again in the future, I will not ever use this particular agency again.

During a rejected claim process he jumped right in and advocated not for Allstate but for the approval of of the claim. In past experiences with other insurance companies (State Farm & Liberty Mutual) if a claim was denied the agent simply threw their hands in the air and parroted the fact that it was denied. Jonathan instead took his time to research and talk with industry tradesmen which in my mind made the difference in ultimately getting that decision reversed. I entered this very clean and well organized office and was promptly greeted by an older woman who made me feel right at home. I informed her I was interested in getting a quote for my auto and home. The woman walked me over to another gal, Shirley, who politely introduced herself and was more than willing to put together some pricing for me upon my arrival. I thought, for sure, I would have to run home to get her some more info but with today's technology, I was able to pull up my current coverage right on my phone and give her some info so she could compare apples to apples. We went through our auto policies, my home owners policy and I let her give me a quote for life insurance, as well. Shirley and I found that we both use Yelp and started talking about different spots the other one needs to try. We had a nice meeting and she informed me they are collecting Toys for Tots in their office. That made me pretty happy to see! I left feeling like I knew a little more about my current policies as well as more knowledge about my insurance options than I ever knew before. Shirley answered all of my questions and explained things in a manner I could actually understand. They're quotes were better than what we're currently paying and after years of working with an insurance agent I have never even met in person, I definitely want to do business with this State Farm agent and his friendly and helpful staff.
