Unfortunately, the issue was a defective coil and, although it was covered by my warranty (I replaced the unit in 2017), it was still a bit of a pricey fix and took over a month because the part had to be manufactured. Keiley was super helpful and kept me updated throughout the process, and I decided to get a preventative maintenance agreement for twice a year service because I didn't want anything like this to happen again. We have had several service visits, including one to our new house right after we moved. I believe the technician Javier has come to every one of the visits, and he is extremely professional and really goes above and beyond. There was an issue right after we moved in (because I installed the thermostat - badly) and even though I believe it was slightly out of the scope of his job, Javier took the time to help me fix my mistakes.

He simply does not stop until the customer is completely satisfied. He defines "going above and beyond" for the customer. While on topic, his wife Tosha manages absolutely everything from appointments to parts to warranties, etc. She is basically a super polite Pit Bull. She will not let any manufacturer get away with avoiding a warranty claim, delaying a part, etc. She will stay on top of them through multiple calls per day until the issue is resolved. A blonde woman whom I am assuming works in the office greeted me with the most nasty attitude. Instead of "hello" I got a dirty look and "can I help you?" I said oh I apologize I don't know if I have come through the correct door. She proceeds to tell me it is the correct door but that I should knock next time. When I walked through the door there was no sign that said knock. I also have never heard of knocking at a public business during business hours. I've decided to take my business to a different company as Titan has obviously no knowledge on customer service or even just how to speak to someone. This is very unfortunate. When we called Duncan, we got a warm & fuzzy young lady who TG scheduled us for the next day. Though they were really busy, it was late & rainy lightening in the distance, Duncan honored their appt. Their most excellent techs gave us a step by step, filled us in on tech terms we didn't understand, gave me a tutorial, let me follow them around to learn a few things, md recommendations, diagnosed the problem, & fixed it in less than an hr.
