I know all 3 guys see me but never did anyone at minimum greet me and say someone will be with me nothing at all but whatever right. 20 minutes now and I see a couple people waiting behind me when the very large/wide guy calls out a name. I said excuse me but I'm ahead of that guy to which only then did the customer not the employee ask if I signed in. Obviously I never knew that since it was my first visit. But none of those guys behind the counter said a word much less an apology. AWESOME customer service... so I walked out and didn't purchase the 2 well priced handguns today. I CAN'T SAY I WASN'T WARNED IN OTHER REVIEWS EITHER. ... no etiquette at all.

The gun I purchased today was a fair price. I asked about Memorial Day sales, the answer was "probably not" but he asked for me, it was still a "no"but it was a respectfully delivered no. I understand a business owner needs to protect his margins, and have price integrity to keep the lights on, hire good staff, and an everything that goes into a business, so I purchased the gun at their sticker price. Which I had done plenty of research and determined their price was fair. Good employees are hard to find, Chris and staff today were personable, customer service oriented, knowledgeable and polite. As a local business owner I can understand how hard it is to staff, and frankly I can understand a business owner maybe having a bad day and being a little short or snappy on previous response. So I'm removing the 1 star and changing it to a 4 star as this new experience significantly improves how I feel about the shop.

I love how they let me use my holsters without charging me an extra fee or going through mandatory training like other shooting ranges. The price to rent a shooting lane is very affordable. Today, I accidentally left my gun case with one of my handguns on one of the countertops. I frantically called the shop because I noticed that the case wasn't in my trunk when I got back to my hotel. Frank picked up the phone and was extremely helpful. He spoke to me professionally and was able to locate my gun case. They held it for me until the end of the day, and I was able to retrieve it. Employees will walk right past you and when you ask for help they tell you to check in. There is no service to check in, the wait time is always 50-60 minutes to see something out of the case. Buying ammo is a hassle with them since you can wait hours. On our last visit we checked in and told employees that we were just asking about a pistol in the case. 2 employees working with one customer. After 20mins we left and went to Fine Firearms to make our purchases there. Come to find out they MUST UP MY FSC CARD and it's a hassle now to purchase. We are officially boycotting and will never be back. We were already home when 3 HOURS LATER, we get a txt that we are next in the line. Many shops in San Diego are more friendly, knowledgeable and better equipped then this place.
