Ten years ago, we had a major rodent infestation in our home (attic, subfloor and walls). For the last 10 years, we have been rodent free. Recently we had major plumbing work done and some of the sealing work may have been compromised. We called The Original Rodent Proofers to come out and look at the prior job and tell us what needs to be done to re-seal the house. The inspector (Brandon) said that the plumbing contractor did a good job re-sealing but would look at each entry point and make sure that the job from ten years ago was still in good shape. This is being done at no charge since they stand by their work. These guys are a 5 star business.

Their warranty on work done was another key factor. An electrician found a dead rat and droppings in the attic, so I needed clean up and rodent proofing. In the crawl space, a bunch of the ducts were unattached by wear and tear and plumbing work that had been done in the past (which I didn't know. No wonder my gas bill was so high over the winter!). Shannon and team cleaned everything up, sanitized, reattached the ducts and rodent proofed the whole house on the outside. Apparently the attic was vulnerable, as prior owners' foam had been chewed through in the eaves. After they were done they set traps which will be checked every few weeks. I will update if there are any further rodents but I am confident in the work by the company and team. I highly recommend this family owned company.

First of all, on the first visit, within ten minutes, the technician had spotted an entry point on our roof that was likely the cause of our isse. It wasn't obvious and the previous service we used (one of the larger services in our area) hadn't spotted this. Another thing that I noticed was the respect and care the technician showed at our house. It's a small thing, but when the technician entered our house he noticed that we had shoes by the door and went ahead and removed his shoes when making his way to our attic. Taken all together our technician was detail oriented, respectful, and thorough. And he solved our problem. Apparently the job wasn't quite on spot. Crawlspace Cleaners came in helped me get rid of the invasion, resealed my home and cleaned out the ruined insulation and replaced it in less than a month. We have a crawlspace in our house that needed some TLC. Sure it provides a way to route air ducts…read moreand water pipes along with raising the house on pillars. However, crawlspaces can get moldy and wet from lack of care. If you ever encounter rodents, there is a good chance they came via the crawlspace. After all, we do hear noises at night at times, which is creepy. Jacob visited and gave a comprehensive review and estimate. We basically went for a full package of rodent control, cleaning, and installing a new vapor shield to keep it dry. The while job took maybe 2.5 days with a crew of 3 workers each day. Outstanding quality work. First phase was sealing up the homes around the house and crawlspace, and laying traps. The attic was inspected too. This was followed up with weekly followups to ensure no more rodents. This scope was subcontracted to Golden State Critter Control. Highly recommend working with Greg. The next two phases involve cleaning and eventually reinstallation of the vapor shield. Compared to what we had before, it was day and night! I also appreciated the crew alerting me to a leaky drain pipe. I later worked with a plumber to replace a cracked 3"D drain pipe that connected upstairs to downstairs. It was fixed in about 3 hours with two plumbers. Definitely recommend Crawlspace Clean for rodent control and crawlspace cleaning. 5 stars.
