    Buffalo chicken sandwich
    Mike K.

I needed something to eat while in the Sactown airport. And this was the spot I chose, I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was surprisingly not that bad of quality - I don't trust a lot of food places in airports as they have a captive audience. The service wasn't anything great - I was the only one there and my food took a long time to get made for something with very simple ingredients.

Hot Mocha was delicious but a bit small

I went and didn't get bread! WTF is wrong with me, right? I just got a coffee after landing, and it was delicious. My go-to is a hot mocha and this place made a legit delicious one that was everything you want in a mocha, rich chocolate flavor and creamy texture and blended together nicely. The staff was awesome and I got my drink rather quickly as most people were there for sandwiches! In my defense, there were tacos in my immediate future, so I wanted to make sure I had plenty of room for those.

    cheap, canned pizza s.

Great place, sandwich was good for the price. Service was quick and helpful. Clean environment.

This is what they call a breakfast sandwich... for 2 of these at the airport, it was $20. Skip coming here

This is located near the terminals inside the airport. Since we had to be here so early, we didn't eat at home. Our mistake... We decided to get the breakfast sandwich. It was egg and avocado on sourdough. Dry. The bread was great. Soft and warm, but the ingredients were almost nonexistent compared to the thickness of the sourdough bread. Of all the airport food that I have tried, this one ranks at the bottom of my list. They were definitely busy, but I only think that is because the words "sourdough" and "breakfast" are very appealing. Service was blah. When we collected our sandwiches, I went back for a couple of mayo packets and the man working there seemed irritated that I politely asked. It is a tiny spot as you walk to your terminal. Pass this one up. Your pockets and stomachs will thank me.

I don't know about food, because I was ignored for five minutes as five employees busied themselves folding boxes and whatnot. All I really wanted was a beer, but was interested in a bacon Mac and cheese and a 6" bread. I guess these folks are either dedicated to customers using the orderbot or make so much money, they don't need to personally take an order. I stood at the register, where a fairly large "Order Here" sign is hung. I felt invisible! It was surreal. I found a beer elsewhere. There was no one sitting in the dining area. What kind of ambiance would you call that? Ambivalence?

    Really good beef sandwich! A+!

It's located in the airport so it won't be cheap, but for being at the airport, this moment, this place and the pizza joint are the best options for quick and hot food options. It seems the soup and sandwiches appear to be the best options. My beef sandwich was toasty, adequately filled with marvelous meat and gooey Swiss cheese. A+! Bread comes with the soup. Also, for variety of ingredients/sandwiches, this place is great. I am impressed.

Here's the thing-- for the airport, this was good. There was a flight attendant in line in front of me, and he ordered and entire loaf of sourdough! I agree, the bread on my sandwich was really good, the best part! The coffee was good, too. Very strong. The inside of the sandwich tasted fine, was just small, and left a little to be desired. But trust me, I get it, it's airport food, and is going to be $15 no matter what. I just read another person's comment about how the sandwich they ordered didn't list cheese on the menu. And that was the same with my breakfast sandwich. They called out the order, and said "cheese" -- and I had to say, "wait, no, I don't want cheese." -- that feels a little weird. List all of the ingredients, please. Some of us have allergies, or just don't want an ingredient... I was pleased, but it didn't impress me enough to get 4 stars. Although, next time I'm in SAC, I would go here again, try something else, and maybe (hopefully) it would merit a 4 star review.

Grabbed a quick bite to eat before our flight took off. Husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. It had cheese on it which was not on list of ingredients. He cannot have it. They remade it without question. I Had a ricotta spinach pastry. Both were good and hit the spot. There were a few table in front, the setup is the usual grab go restaurant in an airport. Counter person was friendly enough and we didn't wait long for our choices.

The bread was pretty good. I could tell it was baked fresh that day. However, the filling of the garlic turkey pesto was disappointing. I asked for lettuce, jalapeños and avocado and there was hardly any lettuce in it. The pesto was more mayo, didn't taste much garlic or pesto. There was a decent amount of turkey in it though. This place does not have as many ingredients to fill sandwiches as most other places do. Besides sandwiches, they have soups, salads, flatbreads, breakfast sandwiches, grab n go items, soft drinks, beer and coffee. Service was friendly. They worked with what they have. Plenty of tables to eat there.

Last day in Sac and needed a bite before boarding. We stumbled across WC Sourdough and I m glad we did. Even though it was a little crowded the staff worked to together to make sure to stay efficient . We used the self serve kiosk .. I ordered the Turkey and Pesto on the sourdough with lettuce , mayo, tomato, balsamic vinegar, salt , pepper , oil , Swiss cheese and it was made PERFECTLY. The bread was toasted perfect all of the fixing and trimmings messed very well. A simple sandwich can go a long way and being that this terminal is scarce with restaurants tho was clutch. I feel full and that good since I have about a 10hr travel day . Check them out if have time in the airport

TRUST THOSE WHO YELP REGULARLY... Fast, courteous service. I'd like to see some plant-based options. Sooo much meat, even in the salads. If you're not yet diabetic or prefer a vegan, vegetarian, or plant-based diet, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant... though the Mac & Cheese looks like an optional snack. Oh, and they have Archer Roos Wines

Ham and egg. $9.50. Mostly bread as expected.

It's a personal preference to have a denser sausage. Service was also ok. Appetizers were good especially the stuffed tofu roll and popcorn chicken. Meat was thin, fresh and flavorful. We tried the american waygu, beef belly and ribeye. The shrimp paste meatball is delicious but a little large. We were going to go with 4 stars for the location but the food and service more than makes up for it. We'll for sure be back.

It didn't have that spicy tang that you look for when you order hot and sour soup. The potstickers were fried crispy, but the dough was a little too thick. The spicy cucumbers had no flavor to them at all. And the honey walnut shrimp was not memorable. We both felt that the two best dishes were the BBQ pork fried rice and the Mongolian beef. Pipo Ramen and Rice…read more I've been wanting to try Pipo Ramen and Rice since 2023, when it was ranked #11 on Yelp's list of places to eat in the Sacramento area. I've driven past this spot countless times but somehow never made it in, until now! I stopped by on a Saturday before noon, and the restaurant was pretty quiet, with only a few tables occupied. The interior is modern, clean, and well kept, making it a nice spot for a casual meal. After looking over the menu, we decided on the Pad Thai with Shrimp (medium heat) and Panang Curry with Chicken (medium heat). While ordering, our server also recommended the Pipo Salad, essentially their take on papaya salad. They offer it Lao or Thai style, and we went with the Thai style with mild heat. Once the food came out, the first thing I noticed was the portion sizes, everything was much bigger than I expected, especially considering the reasonable prices. These are definitely portions that are easy to share family-style. The Pipo Salad had tons of flavor, and I really enjoyed being able to taste the vinegar and fish sauce. One thing to note, though: I ordered it mild, but this ended up being the spiciest dish on the table! I'd say the heat was closer to a medium, while the Pad Thai and curry were much milder. The Pad Thai was solid. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the flavor was there. The Panang Curry was good, although I personally wished both the Pad Thai and curry had a little more heat. Luckily, our server brought out some condiments, including Thai pepper fish sauce, which was excellent with the curry and gave it the extra kick I was looking for. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving Pipo Ramen and Rice a try. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and there's a good variety of dishes I'm looking forward to exploring on my next visit. My only real complaint is that the spice levels seem a little inconsistent. I wanted my Pad Thai and curry to be spicier, but at the same time, I didn't want my mouth completely on fire. Hopefully I can find that perfect balance next time! Would I come back? Absolutely. I've still got plenty of the menu to work my way through!
