There was a long line to place an order, but someone said I could place an order on the self-service kiosk. It is located by the front where you pick up your order so it's a little hidden. I placed my order which was pretty easy to do. I noticed after my order to people past the orders and the employee disconnected it. I think they got overwhelmed with all the orders. I opted for the 8 inch turkey and salami, which is a really good size. It comes cut in half so it's easier to grab. It was made exactly as I ordered. They took about 20 minutes to call my number. They even called orders after mine, which was confusing. Keep in mind there's no seating so we just got our order and took it to our gate. read more

I visited West Coast Sourdough (SMF Terminal B) in Sacramento, CA [6900 Airport Blvd] on Thursday, 03/12/26, around 1 PM. Upon arrival, the line was extremely long, but the staff members did their best to move it along at a fair pace. I ordered the Turkey & Dry Salami sandwich and customized it with cheddar cheese, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, extra mayonnaise, and extra mustard, all on sliced honey wheat bread. I also added a side of the seasonal Lobster Bisque soup. I enjoyed both the sandwich and the soup, as they were satisfying and flavorful. The soup, in particular, stood out - the rich, creamy tomato broth paired with fresh North Atlantic lobster meat was especially delicious. Given that this location is inside the airport, the total came out to about $31. The restaurant was fairly crowded, but I was still able to find seating. The table I sat at was a bit dirty, so I used one of my own cleaning wipes. Overall, West Coast Sourdough gets the job done when it comes to tasty sandwiches and soups. This is located near the terminals inside the airport. Since we had to be here so early, we didn't eat at home. Our mistake... We decided to get the breakfast sandwich. It was egg and avocado on sourdough. Dry. The bread was great. Soft and warm, but the ingredients were almost nonexistent compared to the thickness of the sourdough bread. Of all the airport food that I have tried, this one ranks at the bottom of my list. They were definitely busy, but I only think that is because the words "sourdough" and "breakfast" are very appealing. Service was blah. Here's the thing-- for the airport, this was good. There was a flight attendant in line in front of me, and he ordered and entire loaf of sourdough! I agree, the bread on my sandwich was really good, the best part! The coffee was good, too. Very strong. The inside of the sandwich tasted fine, was just small, and left a little to be desired. But trust me, I get it, it's airport food, and is going to be $15 no matter what. I just read another person's comment about how the sandwich they ordered didn't list cheese on the menu. And that was the same with my breakfast sandwich. They called out the order, and said "cheese" -- and I had to say, "wait, no, I don't want cheese." -- that feels a little weird. List all of the ingredients, please. Some of us have allergies, or just don't want an ingredient... I was pleased, but it didn't impress me enough to get 4 stars. The bread was pretty good. I could tell it was baked fresh that day. However, the filling of the garlic turkey pesto was disappointing. I asked for lettuce, jalapeños and avocado and there was hardly any lettuce in it. The pesto was more mayo, didn't taste much garlic or pesto. There was a decent amount of turkey in it though. This place does not have as many ingredients to fill sandwiches as most other places do. Besides sandwiches, they have soups, salads, flatbreads, breakfast sandwiches, grab n go items, soft drinks, beer and coffee. Service was friendly. They worked with what they have. Last day in Sac and needed a bite before boarding. We stumbled across WC Sourdough and I m glad we did. Even though it was a little crowded the staff worked to together to make sure to stay efficient . We used the self serve kiosk .. I ordered the Turkey and Pesto on the sourdough with lettuce , mayo, tomato, balsamic vinegar, salt , pepper , oil , Swiss cheese and it was made PERFECTLY. The bread was toasted perfect all of the fixing and trimmings messed very well. A simple sandwich can go a long way and being that this terminal is scarce with restaurants tho was clutch. SHORT STORY: - Never Order from their Kiosk - 5 workers. Only 1 has a brain, the man with the curly hair. LONG STORY: Of so many workers, at least 3 make sandwiches at a snail's pace. There's one guy with the curly hair doing so many jobs: assembling orders, correcting other workers of their mistakes on my order, taking the bread out of the oven, cutting up the bread, removing the ends of the bread. He even has to clean up the extra slips that were littering the bread ends container. This dude was very efficient, professional, and doing everyone else's job. One lady worker took an INSANE amount of time placing two items in a sandwich and then wrapping it up like she was wrapping glass. Another guy was cutting the cheese in half prepping for future orders. He could have been doing many more things. I feel very bad for the hard-working guy, because I've been there. Sorry, dude. We are in a government shutdown which means military personnel have not got paid and to charge airport prices with ghetto people. Not only did she not get my order right to the most simple French dip aside from my Google review of how awful she was she put pastrami not roast beef and sliced pickles inside when I asked for a side pickle. I was just trying to get the same service I got the first I'm during lunch rush. There were just two people sitting down garbage overflowing in the inside garbage can.
