OK, I take back a lot about what I say about airport food. Freshii was actually good! (Terminal A) Not many patrons, so ordering was easy, and they do have a fairly broad menu. The breakfast options were far better than the adjacent PEETS, although the coffee there is indeed better. I decided on a Huevos Bowl. Almost $12., but hey, it is the airport. Service was kind but not very engaging. They seemed bored and not very interested in the work. It took a while to prepare the bowl, about 10 minutes. The bowl is moderate size, think Lean Cuisine, but packed full of fresh things... kale, tomato, avocado, cheese, and of course, eggs. It comes with a separate cup of what tastes like a slightly spicy BBQ sauce. The meal was actually refreshing and quite good. Bravo, Freshii

Pleasantly surprised and delighted! Their huevos breakfast bowl (eggs, black beans, cheese, kale, avocado, pico) was warm and delicious--not to mention, very low carb and low glycemic! The cashier was really nice and helped us use our United vouchers. Smoothies were awesome too. A really nice, civilized experience amid food court craziness. Thank you!

Ordered the Spicy Lemongrass Soup and added chicken for $3.59. Total came out to be $17.86. I thought the soup would be somewhat similar to Vietnamese Bun Bo Hue, but it was definitely overly spicy, my nose started watering and I have a decent spice tolerance. It needed some lime/lemon to balance it out so try to ask for some if you order this. Comes with pho noodles. It was a decent soup but too spicy so I couldn't finish it. I wouldn't get it again.

Freshii did not have the freshness I was expecting. The food tasted meh. The rice was lukewarm and the avocado and rest was cold, but the sauce brought it together. The service was speedy thankfully, and the ambiance was little to none but that's okay because there is olenty of seating nearby

Not bad for a meal at the airport. They are overpriced but the good thing was they had lot of vegetarian options. I ordered Tex Mex burrito with Falafel and Baja burrito with Tofu. It was so satisfying to see vegetarian cafe at the airport unlike other busy airports. Tip: Make sure you ask them to grill the burrito if you need a hot burrito.

On Saturday morning my daughter and I stopped in for a quick breakfast for some fuel before our flight, as they say "breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" And I was happy to see so many healthy options! We ordered the Spinach, Mushroom & Cheese Breakfast Burrito to share, which was loaded with fresh green spinach, mushrooms, creamy goat cheese and a perfectly ripened avocado! I will say the burrito was a bit watery, maybe eggs or spinach, but it was still a decent burrito and filled us up. To drink I ordered the Recoverii Smoothie, my daughter tried one sip before she starting downing it lol, so mama ordered another one so she could have her own! If you like bananas then this is your smoothie, we thought they were good, fruit was fresh. I would recommend this location and we would return if flying again for a nice healthy option. The staff were both friendly and helpful and prompt!

Y'all... immediate no. Save yourselves from the disappointment, size wise & taste.

I got the strawberry banana smoothie after seeing a good review on it.. the disappointment set in after realizing how little effort must be put into this ~$8 smoothie when it was done before I even finished paying for it --meaning no fresh fruits were used despite this place being called "Freshii." This smoothie, if you'd even call it that, tasted like half of it had water added in to fill up the cup. It was lacking in flavor from sweetness to fruit. 0/10, I should've opted for Peet's Coffee next door.

Appreciations for the bright and early cheerful friendly energy at Freshii! I had to catch a early 6:15 am flight for my fathers 1 year memorial service and ceremony at South Korea. Waking up at 3am to arrive at the airport on time is a sleepy experience however once I arrived at the airport I received cheery, friendly and a helpful energy from everyone. The lady at the front of Freshii greeted everyone with a smile a warm friendly manner which is always appreciated. The line was fairly long even at 4:30 am however went quickly. There are plenty of healthy menu options to choose from which is a plus! I ordered the large green smoothie with a Rancho breakfast burrito. Burrito was good however I was half way through until I tasted any salsa. The smoothie was a little too watery for me and would have liked a bit more thickness to the texture. I'm still grateful for meal and the friendly service from both the lady and gentleman who prepared the burrito and smoothie and handed to me with a friendly manner.

Stopped by for a smoothie while waiting for our flight at Sacramento airport. The service was great. Received our order quickly. Taste was amazing, so light and refreshing! Price is a little high, but you are at the airport so it's expected. The other items on the menu looked great, too, but didn't get a chance to try anything else this time.

Best choice in Terminal A (as far as airport food goes) Very friendly staff and the "Khao San" burrito was a tasty and healthy choice. Won't leave you feeling sluggish or bloated on your flight.

Buffalo Wrap was 20$ which wasn't good cold chicken and just threw some lettuce and called jr a day Service was Okay not bad Ambiance of the whole place is ok

Lemongrass soup. Ultra sweet. Unenjoyable. Fresh ingredients though.
    Evelyn N.

Ordered the lemongrass soups hoping for something healthy and as an alternative to sweet coffee and muffins. The soup has more sugar than a muffin. The broth was almost like syrup. Hard to enjoy but everything else in the soup was fresh. Even the chicken tasted like real chicken. I'd come back and try something else. Spicy which was a plus. Syrup like sweetness which make me stop eating it and it was $20. Not cheap. Do NOT get this if you think you are going for a healthy lemongrass soup.

Not many options in the SAC airport. They have no lounges and a small handful of restaurants. This place looked interesting and saw the menu items that didn't have any type of theme as it was kind like a Pan Asian with some Fusion in it. :-) Was a bit cold and saw the spicy lemongrass noodle soup with chicken and Pho noodles. Asked if they could make it not so spicy and she said "I will try since the broth is pre-made". It was very delicious and filling. Also was a bit too spicy but finished half of it before giving up. Next time in Sacramento will for sure come back.

The steak was extremely salty, to the point that it overwhelmed the flavor of the beef. On top of that, it was finished with so much alcohol that every bite tasted like liquor instead of steak. Rather than enhancing the dish, it completely overpowered it. For a premium steak at this price point, I expected high-quality execution and balanced flavors. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing steaks I've had, and I left feeling like the meal simply wasn't worth the cost.

Our waitress told us how the menu worked and prioritized dishes to the table based on timing and items complementary to each other. This is a restaurant that focuses on seasonal items so the menu is constantly changing. When we looked online prior to our reservation, we had a few items in mind to get which were unfortunately no longer available when we arrived. For drinks we had the Sassenach and Tea Time. The Sassenach was very lemon forward. Much more lemon than passion fruit. It had a wonderful sweet and tart balance and was not too sweet. Would definitely order again! Extremely smooth. The Tea Time was delicious as well. It had a light smokiness to it and a thicker viscosity from the syrup they used, which had a wonderful mouthfeel. The Grilled Half Moon Bay Artichoke was wonderfully cooked. The dipping sauce had a nice spiciness to it. I liked the addition of the corn chips for a bit of texture. The Roasted Heirloom Carrot Salad was very tasty. I would say it was more of a side dish than salad. The puree was a nice compliment to the citrusy vinaigrette and was velvety smooth. The Smashed Sifra Potatoes were fantastic with the Tomahawk Ribeye. I only wish there were more! I enjoyed the addition of the tempura chickpeas for texture. Lastly was the 48 oz Tomahawk Ribeye. They told us it would take approximately 45 minutes so all of our side dishes, except for the potatoes arrived prior to the steak. It didn't end up taking as long as expected and I wish the carrots would've come out with the ribeye, but I don't think there would have been room at our 2 person table. They recommended the ribeye be cooked medium rare, so that's what we did and it was perfectly cooked. The meat was very flavorful and melted in your mouth. Would definitely go back again. The food was delicious and it had a great ambiance.

The best part of our meal was the blistered beans (highly recommend). Our entree was the salmon, which was pretty mediocre. The brown butter corn cake dessert was unique but not something I'd probably ever crave again.

Unfortunately, the rest of our experience fell short, to the point where we decided to leave after appetizers and find dinner elsewhere. To start, the restaurant seemed heavily understaffed for how many people were there, which made the service struggle. We were also seated in the back room, which felt very claustrophobic due to the complete lack of windows and having only one entrance. The food was a major letdown. We started with the mozzarella caprese salad, which didn't have enough sauce, and the ingredients felt like they were just dumped on a plate and not married together at all. We also ordered the flatbread pizza, but the dough didn't taste good and the tomato on top was completely raw. It tasted like it desperately needed something--some cooking, salt, pepper, or a drizzle of olive oil. Even the soup was just okay. Because the appetizers were so disappointing, we didn't want to risk ordering dinner and decided to leave. It's a lovely spot for a cocktail, but we won't be returning for the food.

The drink contained gin, strawberry syrup, and fresh lemon basil. It was light and refreshing and the perfect spring summer drink. Then we had the baby eggplant which was marinated in a soy glaze. It also had some sort of peanut sauce base. This was a delightful bite. Both of us were very impressed. The presentation was gorgeous. Clearly still on my eggplant craze. One of the reasons we went to Magpie was for the trout dip. In a shocking turn of events, they didn't have it. I think it was an old menu. Maybe their winter menu. This was a bummer. Instead, they had a salmon dip. We got that, and I wish it was more flavorful/smokey. Normally, I'm not a smokey seasoning person, but I think it goes nicely with fish. The chips though were really good. I love a kettle chip. I thought they would be thicker, since the dip was thicker. I'm glad they served the dip with the spoon. We also had the stone fruit salad. I was shocked it didn't come with a cheese, but after I tasted it, the creamy yogurt successfully filled that void. Once again, the plating was gorgeous. I think the peaches were good, but I can tell that later in the summer, these peaches will be even more delectable. I think the pistachios were an excellent choice to this salad. For my main course, I had the painted hills flat iron steak with a Chimichurri sauce and crispy smashed potatoes. The steak was well cooked, and with the seasoning of the chimichurri, it was a delightful bite. Sam had the gnocchi with pesto and fresh tomatoes. The gnocchi was fluffy. Both she and I thought that the pesto was good, but we both wish that we wish there was more of it. I love pesto though, so I am always going to think that. It came in dollops, rather than mixed in, so I think that was part of the problem. We also had to get dessert. I had the ice cream sandwiches. They were made with lemon thyme shortbread cookies with vanilla Guenther's Ice Cream. I wish it was a stronger vanilla taste or a flavored ice cream. The cookies were too good though. Sam had the lavender panna cotta. Normally I am not a huge panna cotta fan, but this one was delicious. It had such a strong lavender taste, in a good way. It kind of tasted like I was eating lotion because of the thickness of the panna cotta with the lavender flavor.
