The food has more so home-cooked vibes and less restaurant, food court appeal but the pricing is pretty fair. $6 for an omelette and they have a pachamama located in the cafe

Service is really fast and food is ok to good. It is what you would expect from a cafeteria

3$ for a "scoop of eggs" and salsa. Was too committed to the transaction to say never mind.

I often visit here during lunch hours. I do understand that during that time, I can expect this (or any cafe) to be busy. You have a mixture of different people here for different reasons.... Nurses, doctors, visitors, and maybe some random people that wants to eat there. The food is pretty consistent, like the burgers, fries, salad bar, soups, pizzas, etc..... And for the most part, all the food they make is pretty good as far as taste and quality. What is a hit or miss is the food workers behind there. Some, though they have worked there for a long time, still can't manage their time. There are some cooks that are slow and MOVE slow. Really nothing to do with safety, or under/over cooked food. It seems like their soul is not in their body at work. Example: I'm in line and I order just regular fries, the 7 people ahead of me orders burgers (and burgers are being cooked), there is fries readily available for you to serve, PLEASE give me my fries! It'll cut my time to pay and eat, rather than watching you watch the burgers being cooked and standing there for minutes on end. Do something, multi-task!

This hospital cafeteria is very good with different cooking stations like GRILL, HOT WOK , PIZZA, COFFEE, ROTISSERIE. My son was there for a couple of weeks and I actually stayed with him from morning to night so this was my "TO GO" kitchen for food. Quality very good and the staff there are quick and friendly. Hours open for Breakfast , Lunch , Dinner and Late Night don't know the exact times. They also have a salad bar , hot soups and lots of items ready to grab and go. It's a Meal Deal here Thanks

this is UCDMC's cafeteria. i am only going to mention the overnight schedule as that's what I'm familiar with. the cafeteria closes at 8PM and re-opens briefly from 11PM until 12AM serving cold sandwiches, freshly baked pizza, soup of the day, a salad bar, drinks (bottled, canned & soda fountain) including coffee & tea and other packaged food items. they open the doors again from 1AM to 4AM but this time the grill is open for items such as burgers, omelets, fries & breakfast fare. they also serve hot food of the day near the salad bar. i know for sure they always have Taco Tuesdays and they serve lamb shawarma and lamb curry on other days.

Best cafeteria for hospital that I had ever visit. On St. Patty's day they had breakfast special with really cheap special price. So, if you're by chance to be around UCD hospital, try their breakfast or lunch or dinner or a snack.

The reason not to give 5 stars is because they took the Tomato Bisque off the menu. That was by far the best soup they had.

The people that work there were so cool! I'm thinking about moving to the area and they were really great about giving me a lot of suggestions of neighborhoods to look at. It seems that they specialize in a lot of iced flavored coffees, as that is what I saw most of the people that were there when I was getting. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. Was a really great place to pass a little time in a beautiful neighborhood. I would return to this coffee shop. I didn't try any of the pastries that were available, but I did see a case with a selection.

It comes with powdered sugar all over the top and your choice of jam or maple syrup. I went with the jam and I really enjoyed the waffle with it. The coffee was of very high quality. I had the cold brew with their sweet cream on the top. The cold brew was strong and the cream had a premium stiffness to it that standard coffee places don't do. It was not very sweet and for those who enjoy their coffee with less sugar, this is great. I found the coffee enjoyable throughout my time with it as I sat in the cafe hanging out with my friend. Awesome Iced Espresso Drink Is My New Addiction!…read more SITREP I've been coming to Chloé Cà Phê & Roastery now since late Winter and it has become my go-to spot to post and enjoy coffee in my neighborhood (and it's only 3 blocks away from where I live, so that's a big plus!) THE SETUP I was only a "Daily Brew" sort of guy when I started coming here 7 months ago, but then a couple of months ago I was turned onto their Ca Phe Su Da - four (4) Espresso shots served over ice! I was sold! Most of the time, I get it "as is". Sometimes I throw in a bag of Splenda. Sometimes I add a spoonful of heavy cream. Sometimes I add in both: depends on my mood. But now I have a new favorite "go-to" coffee beverage, and it's deLISH and it hits the spot! THE LOWDOWN Chloe has an amazing menu of coffee offerings that you need to check out! It's got awesome indoor seating, some nice DJ music offerings at times, and an excellent place to meet up with friends and/or just post with your laptop a spell!

Honestly my first thoughts were, "why is there a car in here?" but Im sure car enthusiasts would fancy seeing a luxurious prestige vehicle in a cafe and everyone else would find it interesting as it is unusual for a cafe to just have a car right in the middle of its establishment. Their menu isnt overwhelming and only has a few selections, theres good pastries to try out as well. Coffee was alright and the pastries were ok, overall I guess I was just more distracted by the business's set pieces. In any case, check the place out, parking can be a pain if it gets busy, typical downtown sac. Issues.

I think I came in with really high expectations because of all the reviews, so part of that might be on me. I originally thought it was a standalone coffee shop, but it's actually connected to Brickland Bistro. I went during a semi-morning/afternoon rush, so it was a bit busy, and the entrance to the café area did feel a little crowded. After ordering, there was a bit of a wait for our drinks since there were groups ahead of us. They didn't take names or give out order numbers, which made the process feel a little unorganized. I noticed some people who ordered after me ended up getting their drinks first. I tried their matcha latte with added vanilla. Personally, I found the milk overpowered the matcha, so it wasn't as strong as I usually prefer. My friend tried the coffee and she thought it was decent but nothing standout. On the positive side, the ambience is great if you enjoy darker, cozy spaces for studying or hanging out, and the staff was very kind and attentive. It seemed like they were doing their best despite being a new cafe and having a rush.
