Every veterinarian we've seen has listened attentively, provided thoughtful and accurate diagnoses, and treated Winston with a level of compassion that's truly rare. Their follow-through and attention to detail are outstanding. One rainy day, Winston was treated for a traumatic eye injury. The vet who examined him referred us to an eye specialist as his diagnoses were emergent. Jessica, one of the wonderful receptionists, walked us to our car with an umbrella so Winston and I wouldn't get soaked. That one moment says everything about their commitment to care--it's not just medical, it's human. The front desk team is warm and welcoming, and even the waiting room has a sense of kindness--you feel it from the staff and even from fellow pet parents. After each visit, I get a personal text asking how Winston is doing and whether I have any questions. After a recent emergency, Winston was seen by a specialist the same day, and a covering vet from West Delray called me on my drive home just to check in and let me know they'd already reviewed the report. Winston LOVES going there and lights up every time we arrive. It's so comforting to know he's in the best hands. Our elderly dog needed a routine dental cleaning. However, nothing is routine when: a) a dog is almost 13 years of age, and b) it is YOUR dog. I received a call telling me the results of Beau's EKG to review with the veterinarian, Dr. Melanie Thomas, who I followed from her previous animal hospital affiliation to the Boynton Beach office, where I trust and respect ALL of the veterinarians and vet techs. Subsequently, I received a second call explaining alternative medical procedures from which I could choose. Lastly, I received a phone call and text telling me Beau was doing well and comfortably resting. All of the employees are caring, accommodating, and very professional. The team at West Delray are great! We took our handicapped pup there while visiting Florida. Our pup requires a lot of special treatment due to her condition. Dr. Block and his team were amazing. They took care to understand Maggie's condition, and what she needed right then. They listened to us and our concerns. They offered very competent advise on how to further help Maggie. They put a lot of time and attention into it, fully knowing that Maggie was only a temporary patient. Dr. Block was even so kind as to fit us in again a few days later for a follow up before our trip home. Now that Maggie has been checked by her regular Therapist, it turns out that was Dr Block did was extremely helpful. We have found our vet and PT in South Florida! read more

I cannot say enough about Dr Patterson!!! Not only is she the sweetest, but she saved my Nicos life twice!! I have a 16 year old Yorkie that I took to West Delray vet with life threatening issues. Dr Patterson was so caring and concerned and did everything she could to help my Nico's health. My sweet dog ended up working through his life threatening issue thanks to Dr Patterson being an amazing vet! She then texted the next 2 days to follow up on how Nico was doing. Our 2 y.o. French bulldog Amber snapped her back while playing. After her back surgery Amber required a physical therapy, which is a bid complicated. The surgeon recommended West Delray Veterinary. Dr Block, Dr Thomas and their entire staff are truly amazing. I brought my doggie here for a pretty big surgery and I am so glad I found them. From the very first consult with Dr Thomas they were checking on Levi to make sure he was OK. Both Dr Thomas and Dr Block called to check in on him. On the day of surgery, they kept me updated and made sure I knew the post operative instructions and Dr Block even called me about 8pm that night to check on Levi and make sure we were all OK or had any questions. I have never seen such a caring office from the Drs all the way to the staff. They are wonderful and I am so lucky I found them. My fur baby will not go anywhere else. read more

My Labrador Torngats Tweedledee at Winding Brook had her first Rehabilitation and Fitness appointment with Jennifer our Canine Rehab Specialist at West Delray Veterinary. She was wonderful and so patient and skilled administering Tweed's first Laser treatment and putting her into the Hydro water tank as part of her Rehab plan designed by Dr Block. We are thankful for Dr Block designing Tweed's Rehab Plan that Jennifer will implement for Tweed's care. We look forward to our next appointment with Jennifer this Monday. read more

I went to a few veterinarians when I moved to the area. I am a person who takes more time researching my vets than I did my pediatrician. Found West Delray and knew all of the drs. there were great! My dogs are well taken of and the staff is excellent. All of the drs are very nice and explain everything to you. Dr. Block is an EXCELLENT diagnostician and also is on the same page as I am with regard to treatments that are more holistic in nature. I could not be happier. The office and rooms were cleaner than most upscale restaurants. From the moment I brought my Labrador puppy in for his first visit, I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The vet tech and Dr. Patterson were wonderful, pleasant, and very helpful. I have never had a time when my dog needed to be seen that they didn't accommodate me and get her in. When she recently had a procedure the communication was outstanding. Called/texted multiple times to keep me informed and include me in the decision making process. They always follow up to check in and see how your pet is doing after a visit. West Delray Veterinary clinic is wonderful. Our German Shepherd is now 7 months. He has been treated on separate occasions by doctors Patterson, Block, Sherman and most recently (2 occasion) by Dr Bregman. They were all great especially Dr Bregman. The nurses are excellent, and nurse Ruba is extraordinary and a dog whisperer. I strongly recommend this Veterinary clinic. They treat your pet as if it were their own. Dr Block is truly an amazing vet. He did my dogs puppy visits, emergency visit, and just did her spay. I was away for 6 months and waited specifically so Dr Block could do the surgery. He has treated her like she was his own dog and updated me with everything going on himself, even after his staff called with updates. He cares about his patients and families. I have had great experiences with each veterinarian I have seen for our dog Teddy at this practice. Met with Dr. Chin for the first time yesterday (as she is new) for Teddy's annual visit and she is amazing!! She is so compassionate getting down to Teddy's level, knowing how nervous he was to make it comfortable for him while he sat in my lap. This was my second time at West Delray Vet clinic. My vet Dr. Jennifer Rosen changed animal clinics and I followed her here. They are very caring and treat both pets and pet parents with kindness and love. More the dog than me. My animal is a tough case as he has diabetes, hip dysplasia and arthritis and going blind. Dr Rosen takes excellent care of him as did his tech Josh. I highly recommend. read more
