Dr. Bregman and staff are great and so helpful during hard times with my kitties. My cat has FIP and even though there is no true treatment legally by the vet, they were very helpful and supportive with our treatment combination with fip warriors and follow up treatments in the office. Don't ever bring an animal that is 18+ years old and especially a stray to this vet. I have been rescuing cats for 40 Yrs and since I moved to Delray from Broward they all became well into 18+ years old and this vet had the BALLS to call animal control on me stating my animals are all sick. I trusted them to know when I told them how old my pets are, cause I have PROOF from another vet from years of visits and apparently that doesn't matter!!! Well I proved to Animal Control the health of all my OLD PETS and feed them ALL a Human Grade diet, that's why they all live so long, but according to this POS VET, pets are not allowed to get old and therefore the owner is negligent. And don'T ever take a Stray therefore help even if you brought to other vets and got conflicting info but brought to them again due to NO VET seeing the underlying problem, they literally called Animal control on me. I proved to them showing them the stray cat was finally living its best life, but Delray Vet feels they are in control and called Animal Control! When I called out the doctor, she said I was bring in my animals cause they had issue and I wasn't properly caring for them. YOU BRING AN ANIMAL TO A VET CAUSE IT HAS AN ISSUE!!!! DDDUUUUUHHHH! Lovely, caring people here! I called on Friday and they were able to see Larry the Cat on Monday. (They could have seen him on Saturday, but Hurricane Isaias was in the area, so I decided to wait.) West Delray Veterinary is the best vet practice I have ever been to. I moved from Los Angeles and was so worried about finding the right vets for both my dogs who have medical issues. Finding this practice has been a godsend. All the vets are fantastic. Dr. Thomas sees one of my dogs and Dr. Block sees my other dog. They have a no stress, modern philosophy along with being more than up to date with all the medical practices. Their facility feels more like a spa and is light, bright and gorgeous with beautiful artwork. They also all really like their jobs and you can tell from the front desk staff, to the vet techs to the vets themselves that everyone really enjoys their work. They are professional, kind, fun and always have you and your pets' wellness in mind. They also have a holistic bent and can do acupuncture and advise you about herbal remedies and essential oils for dogs too. Moreover, they have a complete physical therapy truck which includes water therapy. They are the best of western and eastern medicine, in my opinion. What impresses me most is how caring all the vets are and how they always communicate with you. They are a high touch practice and as busy professionals, they really go the extra mile. I am blown away but how cutting edge they are in their workplace environment along with their vet practices and they bring in the BEST specialists for you if necessary. I truly love Dr. Block and Dr. Thomas for all they have done for my dogs and grateful also for Dr. Patterson who I don't get to work with as much but when I have seen her or spoken to her, she is equally as amazing! Additionally, every single employee of the practice goes the extra mile in being kind and helpful. Made an appt to meet Dr. Patterson for my babies dental procedure. I have never had that pleasant of a trip to the vet! I wanted to share for anyone who takes care of their babies holistically, that West Delray is knowledgeable in that field! My milo is raw fed and only given herbs and supplements! No meds! She recommended herbs that he is already taking and knew about how bloodwork looks with raw diets! Something most vets are not aware of! Didn't try to stear me away from a raw diet or anything. I think we have found our forever place! We normally do accu and laser and rehab and will deff look into the packages here. Pleasantly surprised with the knowledge these vets have! I feel comfortable already placing my little one in the hands of West Delray. Any type of surgery, dental or not is scary and it is very important to me that they are in the best care! read more

We took our beloved dog to West Delray Vet after moving here during the height of the pandemic. We chose this office because of the proximity to our house and because we were allowed to accompany our anxious senior dog to her appt. To say that the practices here are shady is an understatement. They will charge you through the nose despite the level of care not matching the price tag. Dr. Block himself once ran tests for upwards of $800 only never to actually present us with any actual results and simply said they were inconclusive. Additionally, they will push every test and drug on your pet despite their "holistic approach." My dog had arthritis and was given 300mg of gabapentin which left her like a shell of herself. When she had surgery for a sarcoma that grew to be the size of a grapefruit and had an 18" incision she was only given 100mg by her oncologist so you can understand my frustration since we did try to keep her care as holistic as possible. The sarcoma on her side grew while she was under West Delray Vet's care and right before their eyes as my dog was not only seen for regular wellness exams but was also going for hydrotherapy bi-weekly. Dr. Block failed to aspirate the mass and just dismissed it as a senior dog lump. When I asked him to aspirate it he did and then he did an abdominal ultrasound and told us she had a cancerous sarcoma and it was above his head and he couldn't help treat her. He also said he thought we had previously aspirated the mass even though that was never discussed. In fact I didn't even know I had to ask for it to be aspirated as thankfully my baby received better care from more qualified vets prior to arriving here. Good thing I was still in touch with one of them who told me how a professional would proceed with a mass of that size. Dr. Block was just backpedaling and didn't want to admit he dropped the ball. In fact I believe he went as far as telling me I just had to move forward when I pointed this out. I waited until I lost my baby to write this review and I just want to say that bringing her to this practice was an awful mistake on my part and I have lots of regrets and I often wonder if I had entrusted her in someone else's care if she would still be here. read more

Dr. Block and every single staff member I've met at West Delray Vet has gone above and beyond to take care of my Goldendoodle puppy! I took him here initially a few months ago and we recently chose them to neuter him. They take the time to answer every single question, explain procedures, check in the day after surgery and visits, and explain all options including less invasive options for care and fully support the care you choose for your pet. They are up to date on the latest research and provide post surgical laser therapy to help speed up the recovery and decrease inflammation at the site of the incision.
